Amazing idea! Come on Jeff you have time right?! I would send my very intelligent, thinking, articulate, (witty like you!), interested in law, highly underemployed 29 year old to you. Put him to real work! Thank you for ALL you do!
Instead of doing what so many did, (frantically investing in Pharma stock to benefit a windfall from those doing despicable things,) we should all consider investing our money in a law degree to benefit from the windfall of those doing what is right. I’m almost 60, can it be done at my age? Can someone my age find a job afterwards without any prior related experience? I feel like it would be money wasted since there are those in the age brackets of 25-50 to compete with and we live in a country that rarely values those of older age (unless they are in government of course.)
Yes and I would enjoy that if I didn’t need to earn money as badly as I need to. Volunteering doesn’t pay our mortgage or buy us food. I’m not blessed with resources the way I should be at this juncture of my life, because of our economy and the tax laws hurting the lower middle class so badly. They never stop to think of the trickle effect, how it robs our society of those that could and would have volunteered more if their years of hard work and wise financial planning actually did what it was supposed to do. It didn’t. I need a paycheck. But I want my work to matter and support goodness not selfish greed.

We may want to consider changing careers…I predict an attorney shortage in the near future!
I have a few friends who switched gears and went to law school seeing these types of things coming down the pike.
I need to meet your friends…wise, indeed!
Sounds like we’re going to need a lot more attorneys. And soon!
Jeff, have you ever thought of starting your own law school? I’d love for my son to study under you!
I’ll even throw out a starting suggestion for the name of your school:
Childers Coffee Covid School of Law
😊

tell him to take the Jurisdictionary course online!
But we need to get something in place faster next time so people don't have to be permanently injured or dead first.
But those in the dark prefer to stay in the dark rather than be in the light. Unless their eyes are opened, they will continue to choose evil.
"Evil Grows in the dark, where the sun, it never shines."
Evil Grows in cracks and holes, and lives in people's minds."

True. We live in a fallen world. But we are called to spread His light. The rest is up to Him. He's got this. God Bless.
Amen.
Cockroaches and silverfish.
And brown recluse spiders and cellar spiders.
Amen!

Much easier to 'come alongside' an org that is doing just that. Volunteer your time or get enough education to be of use to them.
