May all recognize us as having been with Jesus…

Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus. And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they had nothing to say in reply. But when they had ordered them to leave the Council, they began to confer with one another, saying, “What shall we do with these men? For the fact that a noteworthy miracle has taken place through them is apparent to all who live in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it will not spread any further among the people, let us warn them to speak no longer to any man in this name.” And when they had summoned them, they commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God, you be the judge; for we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

I totally disagree on Israel as our important ally. We send them billions of dollars a year. Just like we're doing with Ukraine. Both led by rich Jewish folks that demand our money while both countries persecute Christians. Many of the problems in the Middle East to begin with are the fault of American policy. We need to focus on repairing our own country.

Besides, they’ve had enough to contend with. Dig back through history and you will see that sooner or later, God always comes to their rescue and He does indeed bring down those who harm her. Israel has always existed. Israel are the people of the Old Covenant. This is the context of God's Word. The 20th century political state of "Israel" is not the Israel of the Bible. Israel is ALL of the people of the old covenant no matter where they live in this world. This political state is an artificial construct created by the western gov'ts after WWII as are most of the arbitrarily drawn political boundaries of the middle east. Peter O'Toole's movie, "Lawrence of Arabia", is instructive in this.

I have had this conversation with my father before he died. Because the name of Israel was chosen for this political state, he could not distinguish between the meaning of the Biblical context for Israel and the 20th century state by the same name.

I understood what gave our Founders the courage to challenge the greatest Empire on earth at that time...

"In later translations, God is made much more abstract, and much more rigidly judgmental; and priests and religious institutions are foregrounded. In this early version (and in the Hebrew), it is a heart-wrenching, challenging love story between the Lord and his creation, human beings. I personally feel that Israel is everyone from the Old Covenant and all of us who are the “Lost Tribes of Israel”, (God never lost anyone; we are lost unto ourselves bc we don’t know exactly who we are) who went over the Caucasus Mountains, settled Europe, then went on to North America and Canada. Scota, one of the daughters of _____ (can’t think of his name. His sons all died in a fierce battle. Only

his daughters survived) went to Scotland with her sisters, along with their uncle, Joseph the Tin Man, and settled Scotland. Her sisters settled Britain and Ireland, I believe. The bulk of caucasians, (Caucasus Mtns. derivative) are from Israel’s ancestors, those daughters. I also believe that when the bible speaks of Israel, He means the state AND the scattered/lost tribes. I’m a Christian but have good reason to believe I am of the tribe of Jacob. I truly believe that most of

the

time when God speaks of things He means literally and figuratively, concrete and intangible. For example, when He says in the end times, “in those days”, there will be a famine for bread, I believe He means both a famine for bread to eat AND that we’ll have a hard time finding anyone who truly preaches/knows the WORD of God, the BREAD of life.

Well now, that's a whole nuther discussion and it's been decades since I reviewed my ancient history. But isn't it interesting that the ten lost tribes who had been living in captivity to the east of the Caucasus mountains declined when they were invited to return to Palestine and instead decided to head west through the Caucasus mountains. At the same time that they disappeared from the Biblical record, a very large population of people coincidentally appeared on the west side of the Caucasus mountains which historians called the Celtic Tribes. They continued to migrate westward settling in the British isles and became quite a nuisance to the Roman Empire who arrived much later on the scene. As for Joseph the Tin Man, I assume you are referring to Joseph of Arimathea who was a tin merchant with mines in the British isles and the uncle to Jesus. Again, a whole nuther fascinating discussion.

After that comes thy neighbor, which by the way, is not the entire world billions of miles distance from the home. You may be proved right ... and I also sometimes lean towards the 'no middle class' left in America camp. However, cracks are opening up all over the place. The Afghanistan and now ongoing manufactured proxy war debacles combined with the sanctioning disaster have created a world split asunder in ways not imaginable just three or so years ago. And even the push back in C & C Comments today on a certain topic might not have seen the light of day a mere ten years ago. People would have been too scared to open their mouths.

And with everything gone past an inflection point the likes of which is seen only every few hundred of years or more, and with everything in flux, it is too early to know how things are going to shake out. I do know that the United States and its Woke Empire Delusional is currently the laughing stock of the world. The Ukraine Stupidity Project is already a lost cause. Africa is now a lost cause and Kamala the Camel's trip to shore up American interests there is going to be a bust. The American's are now isolated in the Middle East in one small pocket of Syria. The geostrategic Grand Game look-a-like encirclement of Russia is either faltering and/or is so weakened as to be most probably written off at some not too distant point. And at at home, and just by reading the tea leaves, cracks opening up may be on their way to canyons regarding differences between the Mad Dog Biden-like Radicals/NeoCons and the Money Power Fed/Wall Street (some of them) element who see The Magic Money Machine franchise going down the Woke toilet unless some real serious stuff gets reigned in. And I have to wonder, aside from tragicomedy, does the Woke Empire under US sponsorship even have a foreign policy? Or a cogent domestic policy given all the fits, starts, flailing arms and sudden turn arounds? I am sure there is an agenda. Certainly the Money Power has a Fed-centered agenda. And yet everywhere one looks, there is breakage, disintegration and strewn litter.

I tend to be pessimistic and have to continually and prudently claw my way back to optimism. As such, some of the above is reason (at least for some of us) to be a little more hopeful about the future. Regarding England, and by visible historical evidences seen, America never did achieve a full independence ... at least from of the City of London centered financial power. I've come to regard Israel as a strategic base for the Rothschild elite and their associates who hide behind a racist wall of antisemitism for protection and deception, including the American Christian groups. The Orthodox Neturei Karta Jews (that most people barely know exist) are opposed to the secular Zionist state and call for the dismantling of the State of Israel. According to their interpretation of the Torah, Jews are forbidden to have their own state until the coming of the Jewish Messiah but the Rothschild influence and the Balfour Declaration created Israel for strategic economic hegemony rather than a Jewish City of religious peace without war. There's also a debate as to whether the six-pointed star on the Israeli Flag represents the Jewish religion. - See more here - https://tinyurl.com/5k2nkhah

Ooh, Heaven is a place on Earth

Interestingly, and you can look it up, there is even a Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv. And as to the Balfour Declaration, it was bought and paid for fair and square, or else on the sly. I guess it really is a matter of orientation as to which it is. And the Zionists by the way, who despite their name are secularists, have scant need of Christian Scripture excepting when it suits their political/social control agendas.

In a personal story, it was my Uncle Ben who married a Jewish woman names Camille sometime after his first wife Grace had passed on. I met Camille in Ft. Lauderdale in Florida in the very early 1980's. It remember the day clearly as a very bright sunny ... and I was still a strapping lad in his very early thirties. What we were talking about in particular I can't remember but it must have had to do with that magic kingdom in the Middle East because suddenly Camille blurted out with some vehemence, "The creation of Israel is the worst thing that could have ever possibly have happened to the Jews." Camille did not elaborate. She did not explain or further comment. And not knowing much about either Jews or their history, this sudden flash of remarking stood out as sharply as a plunging dagger piercing the air. I knew that Camille was highly educated, smart ... and therefore it must have meant something big! But what?

After years of further intellectual growth, I conclude that Camille had some idea of the history of her people when she so spoke. And looking back, I wish I had had some background, enough so as to ask a few questions. But judging from some of the Comments, it looks like some other folks might have a fair surmise as to what Camille was getting at.

The term "antisemite" is a reckless accusation since "semite" is a name given to a member of any group of people who speak one of a family of languages spoken primarily in parts of western Asia, including Arabs, Akkadians, Canaanites, Hebrews, some Ethiopians and Aramaean tribes. So you need not be Jewish to be a "semite". Also, "semite" is not a racist trait, or a uniquely Jewish trait, it simply defines who speaks a semitic language.

Christians are absolutely not persecuted in Israel. ALL religions in israel are treated equally. In fact only in Israel, every Muslim, male or female gets schooling including university. When Arabs controlled Jerusalem, before the 6 day war in 1967, the most holy sites of the Judaism and Christianity were shut down. It was only after the Jews regained control of their historical capital that these sacred Christian and Jewish holy sites were opened and allowed to flourish.

Bottom line, you are wrong. The Muslim countries persecute Christians, the Jewish country does not. Fun fact - the majority of Israelis are SECULAR and don’t really care about religion although they are stalwart Jews as an ethnicity.

I knew a lot of Iranians and of course my students were all Iranian, and they told me lots of stories that the U.S. government would not want the world to know. In any case, I recently bought a 2021 book called "American and Iran: A history from 1720 to the Present" by John Ghazvinian. It's a fascinating book (who knew about our history and fascination with Iran before we were even a country!), and what I've learned in particular from about 1951 onwards is about America's shenanigans (often at the prodding of Israel and more recently Netanyahu in particular) in creating the mess in the Middle East with regard to Iran. Not amnesty. Never forget. Some type of punishment. I opt for

1) punishing employers with >wrongful termination and >wrongful medical coercion fines (criminal poisoning..)

with compensation of lost wages, and impact on the person and family.

2) removal of medical professionals and their medical licenses from state and county health boards and medical administrators - who all knew or should have known that the “science”was malpractice, and who legislated from their non legislative positions

3) civil and criminal prosecution for medical malpractice of Fauci, Walensky, et al

4) huge fines on so-called news and social media, double or triple what they received from the government for colluding with as the narrative media.

5) huge fines on Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna, etc., and all collaborators, to the tune of their entire gross income in 2021 from jab products and remdesivir.

For medical treatment of jab injured and for their hand in mandates, participate in wrongful termination compensation.

6) hospital medical malpractice for forcing people into the Covid protocol of remdesivir and ventilators, refusing physician directed medication or even transferring from the hospital, withholding food and water, refusal to treat (transplants, etc). Even people who were there for treatment unrelated to virus such as car accidents.

Sounds good, except the news media was PAID handsomely by the 3-letter bureaucrats, and big pharma to toe the line. Given their declining reader and viewer-ship I suspect it is these payments that are keeping them afloat.

I disagree.

COVID is the origin of the revelations the medical, legal and political authoritarian web of darkness.

If they can do it over a bad flu, including preventing early medical care, they can do it over anything.

Covid & Coffee.

Agree. We started as Coffee and Covid and it should continue that way. Everyone wants to fix things that aren’t broken.

When the US removes its’ last protections of Israel, God will remove His protection of the US. It is Biblical. “When you see these things, look up, for your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28

It seems to be rapidly approaching. I’m amazed at those around me, that I’ve thought good and decent, who are suddenly frothing at the mouth for the abandonment of Israel.

And what are these things? "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near... "For these are the days of vengeance, that ALL THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN may be fulfilled... "So you, likewise, when YOU see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, THIS generation will by no means pass away till all things are fulfilled."

Go back and read that and pay particular attention to the word "things". And what are these things? They are the fulfilling of everything foretold by the OT prophets concerning the coming of the Messiah and the closeout of the Old Covenant in the days of vengeance when "they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory" to establish His New Covenant in His shed blood; to establish the kingdom of God.

Understand, the Messiah was talking directly to all those who were following Him, to all who were hearing His words, to "this generation". These things were recorded for our benefit and understanding but He was talking directly to the people in front of Him and He was warning them to escape the desolation of Jerusalem. Thus was His church there in Jerusalem saved from the destruction that the Roman army would bring upon Jerusalem fulfilling God's judgement upon apostate Israel.

When the Messiah rose from the grave, He ascended to the right hand of God and sat down to rule and reign as "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." How did he teach them to pray? "...Thy kingdom come..."

"These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that ALL THINGS must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms CONCERNING Me." Luke 24

Can you provide that citation for the first part of your comment please? I must have missed it. I honestly don’t understand so many of my fellow conservatives’ obsession with standing with the state of Israel. It would be nice to know more about it.

In any case, it seems like it’s hard to distinguish biblically between the house of Israel and the state of Israel. They aren’t the same thing, even if there is overlap. 10 of the tribes are “lost” after all.

Welcome back home Jeff, thank you so much for all that you do. The post on the anonymous donor made me cry. So many loved ones lost. Proud to be a donor and to be in the fight for sanity and truth. If the death rates correlate to the jabs, I would expect Israel to have even higher numbers. Yes, it is getting very dicey all over the world. Keep praying

In case you're interested, Phil--the production group (Angel Studios) who co-produced the series THE CHOSEN about the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ, is now showing a movie entitled HIS ONLY SON about the life of Abraham and his obedience to Yahweh about almost "sacrificing" his only son, Isaac. It is being shown on the "large screen" in local movie theaters. I'm going to see it at our local theater this Friday--looking forward to it, as I have watched all 3 seasons of THE CHOSEN on the "small screen".
