I've heard the name before but I am not familiar with C.S. Lewis. I will definitely read up. TY. I did read Thomas Sowell's book Black Redneck White Liberal which was an eye-opener. I found out he used to be a Marxist until he did his own research.

Also consider Lewis’ Space Trilogy, especially the first two books: Out of the Silent Planet and Perelandra (aka Voyage to Venus). Like the Narnia chronicles these books are Christian parables and retell the same issues in different ways.
If "straight theology" is too heavy, try CS Lewis' "Chronicles of Narnia". They tell the story of Christ via fables - not unlike JRR Tolkein's "Hobbit".
I loved these books so so much as a child, and later found a guilde to them that detailed the symbolism and meanings behind the events and characters in the books.
I would refer you to C. S. Lewis' "Mere Christianity" if you want an intimate account of his "faith journey", Nomero! READ ON and be edified in FAITH in YESHUA--the only begotten son of YAHWEH!
Thank you Sharon. I recently finished Mere Christianity and am reading Lewis’ other books. The Book of Enoch is mind blowing as well. I drive a lot for work purposes so I love to listen to these things. Dr. Taylor Marshall, Archbishop Vigano, CS Lewis, Timothy Alberino and others are what I now prioritize on my listening que. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.
Bravo, Nomero - making good, holistic use of that drive time. I was a field sales rep for over 30 years--so I know all about that shtick--LOL! One of my favorite pastors was Steve Brown (from the Sunshine State no less). In fact, Pres. Nixon would attend Steve's parish when he was staying at his FL "home away from the White House" in Key Biscayne. I believe Steve still does radio or podcasts (he is retired from the pastorate). I just did a search online and he DOES have an online ministry called KEY LIFE with TONS of material! I plan on listening to Steve once again. Let me know if you are enriched by his spiritual/Biblical insights, Nomero--here's the link to Key Life: https://www.keylife.org/

I also recommend "The Screwtape Letters". Highly entertaining, and very enlightening.
Thank you! I can't wait to start reading Lewis' books.
I recommend the following eight-volume set that's available from Amazon and includes The Screwtape Letters and Mere Christianity :

Screwtape is VERY pertinent to our day. Great book.
His books are so rich, often I need to stop reading after each sentence just to ruminate. Makes for slow going, but oh so rich!
