Do not worry then, saying, β€˜What will we eat?’ or β€˜What will we drink?’ or β€˜What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Keep resisting. Keep telling people about all the lies they've fed us. The more people we can awaken to the horrors surrounding us caused by these malicious actors, the better our chances in turning the tables on these bleepers.

That would mesh well with a prophecy in the 1800’s attributed to Joseph Smith. He said that in the Last Days that the USA would spend our treasure and our military might in foreign wars, and that half of our military would be destroyed as a result, and that our government and Constitution would hang by a thread…he said that foreign powers would try to divide up and take the USA for themselves, but the people…good men and women who love the Constitution…would rise up and save our Country and Constitution.

He also said that when our military might was decimated, and half of it destroyed that our government would beg β€œthe boys from the mountains” to save it…and they will.

I believe this as it seems that we are seeing the fruition of these prophecies right in front of our eyes.

Difficult times are ahead, but this Country will not entirely fall.

Joseph Smith? The guy with 28 wives? THAT Joseph Smith?

Indeed. The Prophet whose every prophecy (including that of the Civil War) has come true. Just as a point of reference- all of the prophets of old had multiple wives as well.

With all that we are seeing in today’s messed up world, and the deliberate destruction of this Country, our Government, and our Constitution by enemies within and without…his prophecy makes a lot of sense, and gives hope that, unlike the Romans, this Country and our people will not be entirely destroyed in the years to come.

A person who mocks another’s faith only shows that she is not very secure in her own.

I’d say since the pandemic, many Christians have been digging themselves out and finding the light they’ve had all along. We are never without God, we simply turned our backs on him. Every single person on earth has the right to claim exemption from the vaccine that destroys our God given DNA. Asking if you are a church goer is not the question God would ask.

I appreciate your thoughts and I understand where you are coming from as I once thought the same thing. Regarding your last sentence though I would respectfully disagree as the God's Word tells us to fellowship with others, it's a command, not optional (Hebrews 10:25 among many other passages).

https://www.openbible.info/topics/fellowship

Many churches did not close their doors, or if they did they quickly reopened them once the pastor realized the danger was being overstated. Please don't lump all churches together in this regard, it's just not true and is a convenient excuse not to attend. And regarding hypocrisy I'll quote Greg Laurie, "If you find a church without hypocrisy please don't join it as you'll ruin it". We are all fallen creatures including pastors.

Fellowship can occur anywhere, parks, parking lots, fellowship is communicating with others about our faith, strengthening it as a community. I’m sorry, I had a negative experience with a Catholic Church and I never returned. I don’t like religion, I don’t trust it. I do believe in God, I pray, I do not congregate under a roof. I do not trust religion.

Raised Catholic myself so I get it, I was away from church for nearly two decades after falling away.

There are Bible-believing churches that are filled with wonderful people who love God and joyfully praise him together. I don't trust "religion" either which is why I don't do it. I celebrate a relationship with Christ with other likeminded people, that is fellowship that the Bible describes. It's joyful, heart-felt praise for all God has done for us and the wonder of His creation. Thankfully I've found a church that focuses on Him and not "religion".

I was in your exact same position and had lots of excuses not to attend. God had other plans though, and my life has been thoroughly blessed by it. God bless.

Just like we need to love the sinner and hate the sin, so must we separate the truth of the Catholic Church handed down from Christ from the fallen members (including leaders) that have compromised that truth. It is important to learn what the Church teaches so that what people β€œthink” The Church teaches doesn’t get in the way of what Is the truth. I too am a lapsed Catholic who wandered in the wilderness for many, many years looking for β€˜something’. Jeff Childers is entirely correct in saying that Covid brought (at least some) people back to religion. I’d been slowly rediscovering my Christian faith, but it was in March of 2020 that I began to seriously read and study and pray once more. Where I live there are no churches which did not close their doors during Covid and, even re-opened, they are only interested in preaching the β€˜religion’ of diversity. So I continue to worship alone, supported by online communities of faith. I have prayed to find a physical community, but so far that prayer has not been answered. Communities like this one help keep me sane - thank you all!

I'll add here that my comment wasn't meant to denigrate the Catholic church as "religion" but was meant as a general comment regarding people getting wrapped up in the mechanisms of religious practices at the expense of knowing Jesus.

Christ calls us to be in a relationship with Him, if that occurs in the Catholic Church then praise God! God works in all sorts of wonderous ways, and as the Bible says by our fruits they shall know us. By "religion" I meant those that mouth platitudes or went through the motions but don't actually know Him. Unfortunately I saw plenty of that growing up. Twelve years of Catholic schools culminated with our Catholic priest principal being taken down with the biggest sex abuse payout in LA and Orange county history at the time. It was not an isolated incident back then as several of our parish priests were also exposed over the years.

That was my experience but I recognize it's not that of everyone, and that there are plenty of Protestants and Orthodox who were also awful hypocrites.

If you are in a Catholic Church and love the Lord, then who am I to tell you that you are doing it wrong? Gods' grace covers us all, he doesn't expect us to tick every box on the salvation checklist but to love Him with our whole heart, mind, and soul. We are sanctified in this life through the renewing of our minds as Paul says, through that we draw closer to Him. If that is happening for you in a Catholic Church then God bless you as my brother or sister in Christ.

LL, as a β€œrecovering Catholic” myself (meant only in a humorous, not disrespectful way), I can relate to your observation and especially to Jeff C’s reply. My parents raised me in their faith because that’s what they believed. So I was introduced to the Triune God and basics of Christian orthodoxy, but for me all the ceremony and traditions obscured the heart of the Gospel β€” the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus. As an adult I finally transitioned from the religion to the relationship and found the peace and forgiveness that I couldn’t fully grasp before being led to a Bible-teaching non-denominational fellowship. Truth always prevails. November of 2001, I was baptized of my own volition and born again (at the age of 37). My life is now split into everything that was before, and everything since! I pray that you will find that same soul-liberation and peace, not in β€œreligion” but in sharing the true joy that comes from fellowship with heaven-bound pilgrims the world over.

There is division in denomination. But, it is about a relationship with the good Lord. It is not about a building or who you tithe to....fellowship is not limited to a pre-designed space. But, a lot of denominations pushed, actively, for the coof jab after lockdowns and mask mandates and 'no singing'. It is there where they lost a lot of trust. But, those who chose to 'leave' a certain 'church', found fellowship elsewhere, I hope. How often does it talk about Jesus arranging a talk in a temple? None that I can think of, off the top of my head. If anything, the temples were for scolding those in charge. But, even if there is just ONE person who questioned, one person who moved closer to their creator because of the behavior of TPTB, it is good. May God bless all of us in our journey to know the one true God. May we be ever mindful that He is a loving God, but he is also a jealous God. A vengeful God. Find a church, settle in, and live the life He planned for us. Church is community. Community is necessary. Share the gospel, the authentic one that lead to our conversion. Where two or more are gathered in my name... The physical church in contemporary times constitutes a physical structure. But the word Ecclesia (from Ecclesiastical) is from the Greek meaning an assembly of citizens. Jesus held β€œchurch” gatherings in rooms and in fields and on mountainsides to discuss the scriptures. There are some that have moved away from the physical church and have started bible studies at home. I belong to such a group, gathering to read and study the Bible. That is a fellowship so close and rewarding - sister-like within a women only group - where understanding and challenging each other cannot be duplicated in a physical structure on Sunday. However, to go to a church and receive the bread and wine, collectively, is a beautiful thing as well. A combination of those disciplines that come from the heart is what keeps me close to Him.

I believe we need to be a part of a community where God is not. Non- believers learn nothing from those entering a building to worship. They learn from the actions of believers, the bright light of God is better served on the streets where there are people in need. A community does not have a roof and walls. We segregate ourselves, this is not Godly.

Expand full comment

Scripture has a lot to say about worship from Gen to Rev. The weekly worship service, whether in a church, a field or a home, is not a segregation as all visitors are welcome. But it is a coming together, specifically as the body of Christ through the empowering of the Holy Spirit for the specific purpose of worshiping God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We often lose sight of the simple fact that we are called by God to give Him worship. Some traditions treat Sunday worship as primarily a "teaching event". Some treat worship as a "conversion opportunity" even though they are "preaching to the choir." Some treat Sunday worship as a "ministry event" to meet the emotional needs of the people. There are always elements of this in our Sunday gatherings but the main purpose of the Sunday coming together is to glorify the Lord and offer praises to His Name along with the host in heaven whom we join when we gather in worship. This "mystical" experience is the primary purpose of the Sunday worship service. The Psalmist is the best teacher of what worship is. Read the Psalms and use them in worship to understand how to worship the Lord.

I would add that it is the other 6 days of the week when we are to do the work of carrying the light of the gospel out into the world in service to others. Sunday is exclusively given in service to our Lord.

Well said Phil. I’ve seen so many folks who see themselves as Christians but want to remain independent of the body of Christ. I don't know what I would have done without church. Many do not have such strong faith as to not need encouragement from others. A good church is a place you find that. Taking such support away would plunge many people into despair, at which point they have little to offer others. God loves the weak and knows they need support and comfort and I think it was for love of us he gave us scriptures that say we ought to go to church.

My neighborhood during the worst of covid was such a bleak lonely place with no support to be found because everyone believed isolating was the most virtuous thing you could do. Because of the verses about the importance of meeting, my church met and it was a haven for hurting people.

I kind of skipped the whole proxy war part. I am not a military analyst, but I and many others saw Ukraine coming as soon as Afghanistan was disgracefully abandoned. I still do not believe there is not under the table cooperation from the DOD, with Russia and China. The Ukraine government has been corrupt for decades and hiding all kinds of US secrets. That’s my take.

But I loved your last part of the revival happening. I was raised in the Lutheran church. I worked in the parochial school attached to the church until covid hit. When my church shut down for months, took money to stay shut down, and reopened the school the following September with everyone in masks, including preschoolers and toddlers, and the most ridiculous protocols, I was thoroughly disillusioned by the mainstream churches. I realized that everything my old church was doing was being handed down from the state synod, in turn the national synod. I found out many churches quietly stayed open. I found others opened back up quickly and threw off all restrictions, immediately. It was my own personal revival. Since then I have attended a Pentecostal church. I love the enthusiasm by which they worship, I love the pastor and his Biblical standard for everything. I’ve gone to a Baptist church where the minister put me in mind of one of the Black Robes of the Revolution in America’s independence. Like Jeff, I have expanded, and loved that I am seeing revival and everything that goes with it. So many great people have come out as teachers and leaders in this Jesus revolution, and many of the mega church leaders have fallen. That’s as it should be. However, I also found that it was becoming too progressive and pushing for social change/justice that I did not agree with. I stopped going after they shut down hard.

Attending only once about a year ago back at the church of my youth with my father. By this time, masking had decline significantly in the area where I live but was still quite enforced here. The message that day was about our collective guilt as participants in a racially founded nation. I was disgusted. This congregation was the first in a new land where it's Dutch settlers were looking for freedom and equality and a way to unrestrictedly worship their God. I am at loss to understand how it's history has been so twisted.

I am currently seeking a new church family. But am hesitant to reach out and rather timid of visiting new churches by myself.

Not Lutheran but our children attend Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) schools and we're extremely thankful for it.

One thing I've realized is that there are denominations of Lutheranism that are as different as night is from day. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA, the largest Lutheran demonization in the US) has forsaken the Bible and some might say Christ Himself. The churches are "pastored" by characters that proudly list their pronouns and the churches sport rainbow flags and BLM banners. It's about as far from biblical Christianity as one can get.

The LCMS and other denominations such as WELS on the other hand, are still biblical, often fiercely so. At my kids orientation their LCMS principal stated, "my vow to you is we will never teach your kids anything contrary to God's Word". He meant every word of it.

If you find comfort in Lutheran services you really might want to consider LCMS or one of the other remaining biblical denominations. The ELCA unfairly gives Lutheranism a bad name as unlike the ELCA, not all Lutheran churches have not submitted to the demonic spirit of the age.

I agree. I liked the pastor of my duel Lutheran church. I worked in the school and he would often come in and talk politics with me. Then CoVid hit and the lockdown shut off every light. Nothing. After a month they started streaming a service of sorts where the pastor stood in front of a blue screen with automated choir music and delivered a message. He would state that he abstained from communion until β€œwe” could all take it together, the implication was don’t try to do this at home. Wait. OK, but suddenly last December it was announced we would have communion in every service, never done before. I realized that the all of the new directives were coming not from our board of elders but from the top of the Missouri synod, so we would be homogenous. I want Biblical teaching, what I realized I was getting was a canned sermon, a same every Sunday liturgy, that seemed to be moving more towards the Catholic masses where only the top down was allowed to direct or speak. I have learned more about Martin Luther from this Pentecostal church then I ever did in my own Lutheran church. My new Pastor broke down the Apostles Creed and why it is so important and yet it is not part of their everyday services. I love much about the traditional Lutheran church I grew up in, but I can no longer remain in a tight little group with only my β€œchurch” people included. Too many churches failed in the events of covid and the lockdowns. I have learned to give Grace to them as no one knew what was going on, but too many have persisted in sweeping it all under the rug. That can’t ever happen again. I still volunteer at the parochial school and love it, but I pray that the leaders now know how duped we all were.

The small town church I grew up in is PC USA. The pastor is completely lost... he's a college prof as well. I think the combo of PC USA churches closing down and colleges closing and requiring zoom courses completely undid him! He hasn't held a church service indoors since March 2020... he sends his congregants an email each week, "that counts as a sermon..." When he did agree to hold services, he had people drive up and sit in their cars, while he spoke (with a mask on) over a loud speaker from the breezeway... No communion. No piano. No hymns. 15 minutes and it was done. Our friends moved to another church. What was once a vibrant church has been suffocated by milk toast Christian fools!

I wonder how much of it is driven by the principals themselves. Our kids attend an LCMS school and our experience was much different. The school did follow the public health order when it was in effect (under Romans 13) but the school stopped doing so the instant it was rescinded. Also, the school put up tent classrooms outdoors so students could attend class without masks (weather permitting). Last off, once the mask order was lifted the school required a doctor's note for children to continue to wear masks in class, the rationale being that masks impeded communication.

Our principal happens to be a fearless man of God though, and we are incredibly blessed to have him. If the principal is a spineless, I could see how a one could easily succumb to the bureaucracy of a large church organization.

This time I looked at the indicated box of masks and probably there was a unintentional visible look of disgust on my face, and the secretary said, irritatedly, "oh never mind!" That same week they officially dropped their patient mask requirement. Patients have been doing their business for quite some time without masks, as long as they can persist past an admonition or two. I can't take credit - well maybe a little - he's just a good critical thinker. And stubbornly independent. Never would have made it in the military, he would have been kicked out for talking back.

Cleveland Clinic announced last Tuesday that the masks would be going away on Thursday.

I used to be a member at their wellness center. Took Pilates classes for many, many years. A few months ago, I decided I would no longer give them my money. Ditched the membership, but luckily my Pilates instructor is able to teach me privately and I'm contributing to her wealth instead of Cleveland Clinics. The ONLY way I will EVER go there again is if I'm dying. Maybe not even then since there are worse things than dying.

"There are worse things than dying." Yep. You nailed it. I think being forced onto a vent and suffering kidney failure from remdesivir falls into that category. So do most cancer treatments, long term. I'll pass.

This whole thing about the Minecraft Papers doesn't sound right to me. Maybe other former military can chime in. I served in the regular Air Force for six years. The last four years I had a Top Secret codeword clearance. We had lots of time on midnight shifts to scrounge through the reports and data available to us. It was VERY compartmentalized. The only thing halfway sensitive were various codebooks and frequency schedules, and some slightly out-of-date info on enemy aircraft. How in the world does a junior Air National Guard member have access to Joint Chiefs of Staff memos and reports and CIA analysis summaries. There's no way that would be possible. What am I missing? Admittedly, my service was back a few years, but it can't have changed that much. Other opinions?

Expand full comment

It’s been decades since I served. I remember the background checks and the criteria for getting top secret clearance. I was offered a coding breaking MOS. Being young and stupid, I decided I didn’t want to listen to a bunch of beeps all day. Things are significantly more sophisticated these days.

I too have a very hard tine believing that a junior national guard was able to get that much information unless everyone was asleep at the wheel.

You’re spot on. E-3s in Air Force reserve units don’t get CIA strategic intel dumps. It’s asinine to think they would.

People post 9/11 complained that everything was too compartmentalized and not enough intel sharing was going on.

So they fixed that.

Completely wrong. 21 year old lower enlisted air force reservists aren’t tasked with putting together strategic intel briefs for the CIA and command authority.

I'll be sure to tell them that it's not a briefing.

The uptick in stillbirths is due to the vaccine and spike protein. The vax also kills sperm cells. Countries who are trying to pin mask wearing to the declining birth rates in their countries still won’t admit that the vaccine is the problem.

I suggest the stillbirth / infertility increases are due to BOTH factors.

With all due respect for religion, you should not need a religious exemption and have to "walk the walk" like good little sheep to say no. We need to fight for the right to decide how we manage our health. Not letting someone dictate what allows us to decide.

Expand full comment

I agree. It should be simply a question of saying no, without any justifications necessary.

That said, I do agree that at least someone should have some kind of real faith and not just use a pretend belief to get something in exchange. Though I don’t think there needs to be proof as in regular church attendance. Although that is a good indicator of sincere faith, as are praying and reading the Bible.

Anytime we raise the problematic of when someone has "real" faith or not, and particularly in the context of government, then it entails that there be criteria and a funcionary who has (and also is authorized to have) the authority to determine the legitimacy (what is legal faith?) of faith. Yes, for me, I do wish to discern those who are sincere and real, but I wish that within the context of my own personal life and personal decisions, which is an acceptable scope of relevancy for my personal discernment. In what way is it desirable and Good to determine real faith (and what following actions), and how do we address that without placing our human authority above divine authority?

Expand full comment

You are right. But with Jeff Childer’s approach, it may have had a profound affect on those with whom he was working. And, since God is always working for our good, He may be using that β€˜religious’ exemption to open those blind eyes to their need for a relationship with Him.

After all, Relationship is what He is all about. Not religion.

β€œEvery single person who calls you is a an opportunity for you to bring that person to faith, so that their religious exemption letter WILL BE true. God’s put you on a pole, like the bronze serpent, so that you can reach people in a way you never could have before.”

This is genius! God works His will in the most mysterious of ways! And sometimes in the simplest and most obvious of ways. We simply have to be open and willing to hearing His Way for creating heaven on earth! He’s waiting to assist; all we have to do is ask for His help! What opportunities are right in front of each of us today for sharing God’s message of hope and tipping the scales in favor of Love! Fear has no hold on us!

Thanks, Jeff, for sharing the amazing gifts you are providing in addition to great news and legal advice; you’re truly an instrument of God!

Great read C&C and as a matter of fact covid and the bioweapon shots made me start going to mass again, I saw how evil this world has become and I knew I had to re-connect with God and meet Him in His home, the church. I never thought about an exemption for the jabs because I don't work and am retired, I just needed to be close to God and show Him I was always with Him but life had steered me away for a time. Our church is packed every Sunday and that gives me allot of hope.

Mine was closed for a year. I haven’t been back because of the speed they caved inβ€”all my local churches didβ€” but I’m getting leadings to return and someone called me Saturday and encouraged me to come back. I believe I will. Christ totally got me through some terrible times in 2021. It was clear to me He opened my eyes to this satanic plan in our faces. It was very shocking and marooned me politically and led me back because God was ALL I had. I’m ready to return now. Finally. I need these people and they need me. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ» Perhaps this person who called me needs to see that God is working and is using her.

I kept away from church for over 2 years for the same reasons. We finally just had to dump our old church and go looking for a new one. The realization that we couldn’t return was the hardest part. While we are happy in our new church, the sadness of leaving a church I had been connected to for over 50 years was devastating. Recently went to the doc for blood work and yearly checkup. She kept asking me about being sad. Tried several times to prescribe antidepressants and gave me a phone number for a therapist. She didn’t realize the depth of sadness from the past few years. Plus the realization that now I need to find a new doctor to replace her. She was wearing a β€œpronoun pin” and a rainbow watch band. Oh yea- she also highly recommended a Covid shot and taetnus shot.

I’m sorry. But glad you found another congregation. We lost so many young families that used to attend. Only 3 in Sunday school now. Plus they replaced our beloved pastor during the end of lockdown with a newby that wasn’t even from our denomination. I think that was a rotten act by the district β€œleaders”. Feels like seminary sermons now( I still attend a womens group that goes over the sermons). I’m returning now to see what God wants me to do. Bless you.

See if your records diagnose you as vaccine hesitant and the reason. If the reason is depression that tags you as a potential danger to the community even if you don’t have her as a doc. The records follow you.

Sorry to sound tin foil hat, but the diagnostic codes are in play now.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/01/special-report-medical-profession-implements-digital-diagnosis-code-unvaxxed/

Code Number Z28.310 for a β€œdiagnosis” (not a diagnosis at all, but an invasion of privacy) likely to be used against many people in the future. Doctors log it into the computer system that is accessed by government and private health insurersΒ informing them of your Covid vaccine status. There are further designations for why you are not jabbed including depression, anti vax, etc. The purpose is to log who may be a β€œdanger” to the community.

Jeff Childers wrote: "That way, their sincere religious exemption requests would be factual and true, and not susceptible to being picked apart by skeptical reviewers."

More importantly, it wouldn't be picked apart by God. I'm sure He was not pleased by people invoking His name to get an exemption who hadn't actually worshipped Him in years and had no intention of doing so. But I get the point.

Regarding reconnecting with faith, it happened to me on a business trip after neglecting my faith (and my kids faith unfortunately) for about a decade. About seven years ago I was on a business trip that happened to be to the area where I committed my life to Christ back in the 90's. It was Wednesday night and I was sitting in the hotel room and suddenly felt compelled to attend that same church's mid-week service. Within seconds of worship starting I felt a level of peace and comfort that I had lost and long forgotten.

It surprised me but I immediately knew I had to be back in church regularly. It also surprised me that when I came home and told my wife and kids that I wanted to start going to church they said "sure" with no arguing and we've been attending ever since. God had been working on their hearts too apparently.

Ok. Jeff Childers made me laugh and cry at the same time.

Now I am crying again. Oh, the joy that comes when we turn back and find that He never moved.......that He was waiting for us to turn our faces back to Him!!!

What Mercy!

What Grace!!

What A Savior!
