I wish schools WOULD train kids to be good citizens. That is, if you define a good citizen as someone who loves their country, someone who recognizes the importance of personal responsibility, someone who respects law and authority but is also able to think logically and ask questions of authority when warranted.

This is why I homeschooled all my kids in elementary school. I had read a book called “Better Late than Early” that advocated for postponing formal education until children were 9-14 years old! So we did a LOT of family read alouds, lots of trips to the park and zoo, a lot of exploratory projects, stuff like that. We did do the three r’s too, but it only took a fraction of the time compared to the public school day.

I have heard the Smithsonian hides info and fabricates it too. They swoop in when there is a find that they want to steal or hide and take over. They are definitely hiding giant bones. I have seen enough evidence. If they did show the bones it might disprove evolutionary man theory and prove Biblical accounts of them. I have seen nothing yet that disproves the Bible but they try.
I even consider giant mountain like trees were here. Look at the mesas and flat mountain plains. It looks like they were cut down. It reminds me of the giant trees from Avatar. The Book of Enoch talks about giants and these trees too. The Bible also supports flat earth. I couldn't understand why they would lie about it but it makes us just another planet instead of the center of God's creation.
It's fascinating and when we investigate, we change our original thoughts about things.

I think the Big Control Money at the top began to realize that the were in trouble as far back as the 2008/2009 crash because they never did fully reset and resolve the underlays of that disaster. I agree Dawn. After the last 4 years, I don’t know where I’d be without God/Creator. I try to go to Nature daily…the ocean, birds, trees, squirrels…we are a part of Nature. Many of us forget this beautiful gift. I prefer to be a child of Light…the only answer I see and feel.

Amen sister about all you said. Nature shows God's amazing designs. I choose things that are good too and God blesses us for that. After finding out about how evil the world beyond comprehension really is, it made me grow closer to God. What a fool I was when young but God protected and blessed me. I need to pray more and literally pray for protection for family and all of us during this crazy time we live in.

Dawn B, I would argue that schools don’t train students to be good citizens, they train students to be obedient puppets to whatever the latest political agenda is. I wish schools WOULD train kids to be good citizens. That is, if you define a good citizen as someone who loves their country, someone who recognizes the importance of personal responsibility, someone who respects law and authority but is also able to think logically and ask questions of authority when warranted.
I taught elementary for 20+ years and what you say is exactly true!
As a teacher and a former mistreated student, I taught them to question without fear and let them be kids. It is alarming the changes since I started teaching but school is set up for indoctrinating and look how people are now.

This is why I homeschooled all my kids in elementary school. I had read a book called “Better Late than Early” that advocated for postponing formal education until children were 9-14 years old! So we did a LOT of family read alouds, lots of trips to the park and zoo, a lot of exploratory projects, stuff like that. We did do the three r’s too, but it only took a fraction of the time compared to the public school day.
Yep. Everyone should homeschool but most need 2 incomes to survive. However some states will compensate for the schooling at least. I can't imagine parents teaching their children because so many didn't even take care of their basic needs. I saw a lot when I was a teacher.
6 years olds talking about sex, bringing a knife to school, drug baggies too, dirty and wearing the same shirt all week.... So sad. School was better than home for many kids.
You are right, there are many too poor or incapable of homeschooling or even providing basic necessities for kids. The cycle of poverty is a pernicious problem.
They are eliminating the middle class. Schools make the poor, poorer and keep them from empowering themselves.
Even a person with a college education lives in poverty now. High schools forcefully encourage ALL kids to go to college, do little to prepare them, do not take into consideration what they want or are capable of, and keep many options & opportunties from them. Its the blind leading the blind...
The have taken automechanics, home economics, and shop, etc. out of schools and do not teach them proper history or government, so when they graduate, they do not know the basics of survival. The education system is useless at this point and they pile on nonsense work on the ignorant teachers. The kids are constantly tested on the computer but how is that even valid for most kids' abilities?
If I had to take loans out to pay for a teaching degree, how could I possibly pay it back with that meager income and save money for a house?
It is just another way they cripple us.
