In 2008, on the morning I was to go for my first chemo treatment, that verse and the song with those lyrics were brought to my mind by the Lord as soon as I woke up. Even the first day of chemo is the day the Lord has made! Thank you for posting this, John!

Wish it was that simple. My article is only 7 pages and it tells more than any Cancer "expert" will tell you. It's too long tp post here. I promise I won't fill your inbox with junk. I'm not a marketer. I'm simply here to help God's people. I can mail it by snail mail if you wish.

You all will like this interview of Dr. Phil with Trump ! (love that the Daily Mail, a mixed tabloid, often with their own slant of the owners (very anti Putin for instance) reports articles we never see otherwise.

We don't know that he hasn't. How else could he have survived these satanic people? God has made him strong. We should pray for his protection. While Soros Sr. May be demonically deluded with his evil new world order, and his so called 'messianic vision', Jr. has not only been reared in it, but actively and openly participates in occultic satanic practices such as 'spirit cooking' and vows to be "more political" than his father.

These people, and their circle (Clintons, Uma Whatever her name was,

the Clinton aid, is now dating Junior, Podesta

etc) are satanic people.

Satan has afforded the evil people, more money than any person has ever known. It is scary.

We aren’t the judge of whether someone has given their life over to God; only He sees genuine repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I pray that President Trump has done that. Our faith is a lifelong journey of maturing and dependence on our Lord and Savior. We don’t know anyone’s heart, only God does, but I believe the persecution he has endured has to have led to a deeper dependence on God.

He has understanding of God, and to some degree he fears God. My view… he hasn’t totally committed himself to Jesus… another words, he hasn’t kissed the Son, yet. Psalm 2.

He is a little too pragmatic, he needs to walk in more principle.

God can still use him, as He used King Cyrus. As He used Baalim, as He used others. Trump had two old aunts who prayed for him. Those two ladies prayed for 25 years for revival in Scotland.

Twenty-five years!!! And one day grown men were kneeling in public, repenting.

In my opinion, it’s on us, God’s people.

Because the Word says:

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

His people.

That’s us.

He isn’t asking for all of humanity to repent, He knows that would not be realistic. He is only asking for HIS people, those who are called by His Name, to repent , seek His Face and turn from THEIR wicked ways .

If there had been 10 righteous people in Sodom , He would have spared that city. There weren’t even 10.

Sad, isn’t it,

There weren't even 4 righteous people as Lot's wife looked back at Sodom & Gomorrah rebelling against God's explicit command through the "angels" sent to rescue Lot and his family and all other "righteous" souls.

Apparently it is. I have repented, and do so on a daily basis. But so many have been fooled into thinking they have to repent to a man in a collar. There is no mediator between God and man except through Yeshua.

I repent for myself, and for my nation . Daily.

IMO this makes it even more tricky to judge accurately. I think we all struggle with our own particular sins, and if pride is one of Trump's then it's not as if that would magically go away the minute he genuinely recognized and repented of it. I'm not confident to make any judgement on his relationship with Christ; saved, unsaved, or saved-but-not-taking-it-quite-as-seriously-as-he-should, who knows.

Who are you to judge? “Judge not, lest you be judged.”

Expand full comment
CStone's avatar

We are supposed to judge. Rightly.

You’re taking it out of context.

We CAN judge that, according to the Word, fornication is sin…..that includes adultery, homosexuality, transgenderism……we CAN judge. As long as we judge rightly.

Expand full comment
TB's avatar

Thumbs up, and to expand on that a little - we SHOULD judge, carefully, wisely, and lovingly -- and we should welcome loving judgements on ourselves in order to see what we need to change. What we should NOT do is judge someone else with an attitude of superiority as if it makes them less than us. We are all saved by grace out of our imperfection.

Expand full comment
P Flournoy's avatar

I would further add that we should not judge against someone’s sin if we are doing the same thing that they are. Therefore, it may be wise to check our own humility before we judge Trump‘s. I know for a fact, he is frequently in contact with my pastor Dr. Robert Jeffrey at First baptist Dallas.

I was 60 years old before I came into a true relationship with Jesus. Before that I was a lifelong believer but lacked relationship.

Why should we question where Trump is? We should pray for him while understanding that God has used all kinds of people for good throughout time. And I don’t think a single one of them was perfect, all of them made mistakes. I think we should look back and see the amazing things President Donald J Trump accomplished in four short years and have hope for the future.
