He also said to buy a sword. The one who has a sword, but shows restraint in it's use because of His Name, honors Him. The one who uses a sword in preservation of the life of another, and then dies by the sword, has given his life for another. I'm speaking as a man and not from scripture, but as a man who has used the sword and then has become a believer, only because of His mercy and grace.

The discriminator is whether He is acting in you as His proxy. Those who don't believe will not understand, and will act inappropriately. Those will then bring you before magistrates. Some may act in His name, but deceitfully. Pray for discernment.

Our Lord went to His death with legions of angels at His disposal. But at other times, He also brought to bear legions of angels to bring about His purposes.

Don't believe a word I say without prayerfully referring to scripture.

Righteous anger is a thing. A biblical thing.

Not Peace, but a Sword - Matthew 10

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. - Jesus

Yes, it is. I believe when Jesus cleared the Temple of the money changers and those selling sacrificial animals his anger was a righteous anger. Then when he dealt with the religious leader several times, we can hear his righteous anger in the words he used towards them.
