Thanks for posting this. I still don't understand how the one guy was not just deported, and instead he was shipped to a prison in El Salvador. Has he actually been ADJUDICATED as an MS13 gang member? Committed a crime? This is murky imho and unseemly, especially for an administration that was the object of lawfare themselves. They freed Ross Ulbricht! I understand that the Biden admin let them in by the millions and we can't deport one-by-one now, but I don't like what I see in this situation.
Add that he is a wife beater as well as involved in human trafficking and when arrested had rolls of cash and drugs. 2019 gang related and 2021 spouse abuse.
A friend (lawyer) posted about the legal problems with this situation. She disputes #1 so the other two are irrelevant in her opinion.
My understanding is he was told in a court of law to leave the US years ago. He appealed the ruling but did not show for the appeal so the initial ruling stands. He avoided deportation for years.
It doesn't matter. There is a legal process that the law dictates and the courts have ruled on that the government is to follow, and they are not. It is dangerous to disregard the supreme court. You would be hysterical (rightfully) if team blue were doing this.
So why was he shipped to an El Salvador prison? Are we part of the El Salvador justice system? Was he criminally CONVICTED here then extradited? If he wasn't, why not just put him on a plane to El Salvador with other deportees and then whatever El Salvador does is up to El Salvador? I'm a Trump supporter but this is skating on thin ice legally and I don't think SCOTUS will appreciate it ultimately.
Was he not here on an asylum claim and thus in the US legally?
Look, we all know the asylum claims were *grossly* abused by previous administrations so it's hard to have sympathy for many of them. That said, the guy had been here quite a while. From what I've read and heard he was paying taxes and reporting in with immigration authorities. Whether or not that's true - I'm open to reading whatever you've got on the facts.
It's one thing for an administration to revoke the temporary residency status; it's another thing to ship deportees straight to brutal off-site prisons.
Let's pretend for a second his claims (the basis of asylum request) of fearing for his life (because of gang retribution) are true - it's not a leap to imagine that gangs control el salvador prisons and now he's a sitting duck for assassination. What if he was lawfully in the US? Now his life is over probably.
I don't know - maybe what they're doing here is technically within the law of the United States, but it sure doesn't seem within the spirit. One would think that President Trump of all people would get that. I support him deporting violent immigrants especially, but this feels and smells and looks like a mistake that was made and now there's a cover up. The cover up is always worse than the mistake and usually leads to destruction.
Are you aware of how brutal MS13 members are? Rape of small children, murder, torture? If he was a member of MS13 in his home country and committed those types of crimes, why should that country not have the right to try him under the laws of their country?
I don’t understand your and cnn’s concern. I really don’t. MS13 members have ACTUALLY taken over neighborhoods in this country and they rule the streets with terror, and you’re concerned over someone who is a member of a terrorist organization having RIGHTS under OUR Constitution?
The sword cuts both ways, and the Biden administration use of "Emergency" declarations empowered the Trump government to continue with the same.
So a declaration of "Emergency" to manage the Biden open invasion invitation seems proportional and appropriate.
There are responsibilities to citizenship as well as privileges, and abusing immigration laws as an opening move does not look like a commitment to citizenship.
Definitely get that argument. The Biden admin, especially, teed us up for disaster. I have a family member in Georgia; I took Laken Riley's death really hard.
His asylum request was based on his life being threatened by rival 18th street gang members. According to Venezuela the 18th st. gang has been disbanded. No more rival gang, no more threat, no more reason for asylum.
How did they find him, I wonder, to pick him up? Usually, gang members tend to hang out together -- was he caught in a "sweep"? If so, maybe he should have chosen his friends better.
No they are not. SCOTUS said the US must "facilitate". There is nothing to facilitate if the President of El Salvador will not release him. Why don't you watch the presser with POTUS and El Salvadorian president in the Oval two days ago.
@AM Stephen Miller answers all your concerns in this clip. It started with a holdover “lawfare” embed in the DOJ said he was “mistakenly” deported. He wasn’t. The guy has since been relieved of duty.
Interesting, in this clip Stephen Miller himself admits that while the guy was deemed deportable in 2019, he had a 'withholding order' because of the threat on his life if he went back to El Salvador. That means he couldn't deported back to ES and would have to be sent somewhere else if he was in fact deported.
Then Miller jumps to an assertion that members of terrorist orgs don't qualify for 'withholding orders' therefore he could actually be deported.
My question is, where was he adjudicated as a member of a terrorist organization? I mean beyond govt allegations/DOJ assertions.
Also, I don't think conservatives should fall into calling everything terrorism. Slippery slope that could be turned against us at some point if it hasn't been already. This has been Glen Greenwald's argument if I remember correctly.
The slippery slopes are everywhere right now, and it seems many here are not realizing the very real dangers of this - these precedents can be set and used against us in the future.
Miller was blatantly lying. The court order literally states the government is to make an effort to facilitate his return, and be ready to show proof of doing so, as well as possible steps forward. A whole lot of people are being played on this one.
The President of El Salvador already answered your question. He was asked why wasn't he released INTO El Salvador instead of put in prison?
The President's response - Why would I want a terrorist walking our streets. We used to be the murder capitol of Central America. We are now the safest.
And he entered the US illegally!!!! The media seems more concerned about a person who entered this country illegally and has been reported to be a gang member than the J6 prisoners who were citizens and placed for the most part in hell- hole prisons and suffered abuse!!!! Where is the logic in all this?
AMEN! Veterans always seem to get the shaft as well as so many other US citizens but the illegals have been given special privileges all at the expense of taxpayers!!!!
and it needs to stop now. they broke our law and came in. get them all out asap. take that money and house our veterans and other homeless Americans. Charity begins at home.
Perhaps you should listen to this to better understand the importance of such issues. Just wait until the next democratic devil runs the country, and deports people willy nilly without obeying court orders. The rule of law is important.
It’s actually the same logic. Many of the J6ers were grossly abused by the legal system. The supporters of that whole fiasco sound like some of the commenters here. We don’t give a crap about the actual facts all we care about is our own “side.”
No he isn't. People are being played. People haven't even read the court order - it's being blatantly violated. Rule of law is important. Abuses that set precedent will be used again in the future.
Sounds as though you want him brought back to the US. Just as CNN and MSDNC does.
He was here ILLLEGALLY!!!
He had been ORDERED TO BE DEPORTED to his HOME COUNTRY (EL SALVADOR) IN 2019.
He was NOT deported just BECAUSE he was a member of MS13, but because he was also here ILLEGALLY
Illegal is a CRIME.
It is my understanding from BUKELE that it was President Bukele who labeled him as MS13, which has been labeled as a terrorist group which has invaded the U.S. to do us harm.
So.
Did you want him to be given a warm blanket on an ultra-posh private plane to be taken to El Salvadaor, his Home?
My advice is to understand if the FAKE news networks are all lathered up about ANYthing President Trump has done? ………Then it must be VERY bad for the (formerly) msm handlers.
We sent a Salvadoran citizen, who was here illegally, back to El Salvador. Easy peasy. What a beautiful homecoming.
Libs are screeching about this because their real intent is to make Trump go insane lengths to deport each person. They know if Trump basically needs Supreme Court approval for every single deportation approximately 8 people will be sent home while Trump is President. They dont care about the rule of law. They care about power and importing voters helps them tremendously in that aim.
In the WH press meeting with the President of El Salvador present, Pam Bondi made it clear that two courts found that this man IS a member of MS-13, and again so did his native country of El Salvador.
The J6 committee 'found' a lot of stuff too, didn't make it true. We are not the El Salvador justice system. As best I can tell he was not CONVICTED of a crime in an adversarial proceeding in the United States. All of the things alleged are from one side (and they could be 100% true for all I know - the point is that he wasn't convicted). If the US deems it best to deport him, fine I guess, but sending him to an El Salvador prison with no conviction is wrong. If El Salvador wants to convict him that's up to them.
Why are you stuck on this? The man is here illegall. He has NO RIGHTS under our constitution. He is and has been designated a gang member by the country he came from. HE IS HERE ILLEGALLY!!!! HE BROKE THE LAW. THAT MAKES HIM A CRIMINAL. HE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE CONVICTED. HE CONVICTED HIMSELF BY COMING IN TO OUR COUNTRY ILLEGALLY.
It sadly seems to have turned into an echo chamber. Remember back in the covid days when people here actually had discussions and were open to information? Now its just trust Trump, trust the plan, etc. How about being ethical and following the rule of law? How about being curious?
He was found by two American judges back in around 2019 to be a member of a gang operating in his home country, he came here illegally, and he had a deportation order but was never deported until the Trump administration caught up with him in Maryland. Not hard to understand.
MAC, she is obsessed with this like a fanatic so I would not even converse anymore. Imagine if she took all that energy and used it to volunteer to help fellow Americans or veterans in need.
Can you send a link to the order from 2019? Everything I've read and heard is that he was here on an asylum claim and was checking in with immigration. I genuinely want to understand the entire timeline and the facts.
Apparently, the asylum claim was based on fear of rival gangs. The rival gangs have since been dismantled due to Bukele cleaning up the country. It was a technical error to return him home and the Supremes said that if possible the White House should facilitate a return. Bukele refused. The White House can't and won't kidnap him from El Salvador where he is a citizen. Which is why the Maryland Rep is such a blowhard. He's going to go down to El Salvador and effect a jail break and smuggle an illegal alien gang member into the US? If he ends up in prison in El Salvador, maybe he can be roomies with the object of his concern.
It appears his family wanted him out of their hair. Or possibly they thought he would be away from bad influence. Instead, he was arrested multiple times and let go even AFTER he shot a police officer in the leg.
Thanks Patrice. Agree that POTUS can't be 'forced' to bring him back. At this point it's up to ES. But let's face it ES could probably be persuaded if we really wanted to ($$, trade deals, etc.).
I asked Groq to give me a timeline/posture of the entire case and here's what it spit back. Seemed pretty consistent with stuff I've read.
I would love to help you out but I have other things to get done right now. But your internet connection is the same as mine, so if you start digging you can find what you’re looking for. Court records are in the public domain and searchable.
How do you know I don’t? I’d bet good $$ I have more service members in my family than most people here. I care deeply about the Constitution, conservatism, and this country. Not that I have to justify myself to you or anyone else.
So go be a lawyer since you have so much time on your hands and make a real difference. p.s. I do not want or need your justification. No thank you lol.
Here is a segment by someone with a constitutional legal background that spends over an hour on the issue you seem to not grasp the importance of - so you can be un-bored. You're welcome!
Baffles me the enormous time, energy and hand wringing going into this sketchy illegal alien when we have Americans who desperately need help in every area of life! J6 ers reintegrating, Blacks killing innocent whites right and left and being rewarded with go fund me money! Where is the outrage about that? For goodness sake let the president of El Salvador handle it from here.
We are, at some level, now fighting a "war" against an illegal alien invasion set up by the Biden Administration. We are working diligently to identify and deport the worst of these illegals for the protection of the U.S. and her citizens and the sovereignty of our country. MS13, and any gang-affiliated person here illegally, should be deported ASAP! In war, and in other operations, there's some unfortunate "collateral damage". Maybe this particular illegals deportation qualifies as collateral damage, maybe it doesn't. I don't care! The bigger picture is the point, and our efforts to clean our streets and country of violent threats to society is what I support and I hope all U.S. citizens support. I can feel bad for victims of collateral damage while still supporting the greater good. This is not isolated and, IMHO, should not sideline the main objective. It may sound cold. Not meant to be. Just matter of fact. More emphasis and support should be on the good that is happening. The hyper focus on this one incident is not worth the distraction.
dont forget the Black family hounded out of Massachusetts, arrested in Texas and brought back to jail, children taken away. BECAUSE THEY DIDNT WANT TO VAX THE 9 MONTH OLD!
Some J6ers still not free, despite pardons from Trump. Our “justice” system is seriously corrupt in some areas. David Clements, former law professor in NM, has the details. I follow him on Telegram.
Two judges deemed him a member of MS-13 and ordered him deported going back to 2019 and the police department also said he was a gang member. Why he was not deported we don’t know but he is a citizen of El Salvador and needed to be deported.
I’ll be surprised if you watch it, but the guy was arrested 5 times in the US, the last time he shot a police officer in the leg. He was let go, by the leftist policies Every. Single. Time.
Two immigration courts confirmed his being an MS13 gang member in addition to his criminality and being here illegally. I’d say that’s enough for deportation & incarceration in a harsh prison.
Personally I would say being an active member of a gang or any other terrorist group is grounds for execution!
Number 1: He is an illegal.
Number 2: His home is El Salvador
Number 3: His HOME COUNTRY, El Salvador listed him as a member of MS13.
I don’t understand why the fake media and others do not understand this.
What else does one have to know to understand this?
Thank you for the remarkably simple encapsulation of this issue. It's remarkable that 1,2,3 can spun into mass hysteria.
NEVER underestimate the stupidity of the general public!!
I don’t understand why there are so many questions about this guy. It’s actually very easy to understand.
Add that he is a wife beater as well as involved in human trafficking and when arrested had rolls of cash and drugs. 2019 gang related and 2021 spouse abuse.
This doesn't shock me...
Thank you for stating this in simple terms.
A friend (lawyer) posted about the legal problems with this situation. She disputes #1 so the other two are irrelevant in her opinion.

I’ve been in the legal field 30 years and I don’t see where they disregarded the Supreme Court look at the wording
Is this the same guy that killed the mother of five? I can’t keep all of the murderous illegals straight.
He is not the same guy, the killer was convicted yesterday in Maryland
I don't think so.
So why was he shipped to an El Salvador prison? Are we part of the El Salvador justice system? Was he criminally CONVICTED here then extradited? If he wasn't, why not just put him on a plane to El Salvador with other deportees and then whatever El Salvador does is up to El Salvador? As CStone said.
He was here ILLEGALLY.
He was deported to his HOME COUNTRY.
His home country considers him a MS 13 gang member.
His home country put him in a prison for gang member.
I don’t see what is so hard to understand about that.
Was he not here on an asylum claim and thus in the US legally?
Look, we all know the asylum claims were *grossly* abused by previous administrations so it's hard to have sympathy for many of them. That said, the guy had been here quite a while. He was ordered to Deport in 2019 and stayed.
If he had obeyed the law and complied THEN, he would not be in the predicament he is NOW.

The operative word in your entire post being IF.
IF he was those things.
There has never been a conviction of any crime that I can find.
An immigration judge in the US issued a ‘withhold from deportation’ order. Possibly for a good reason.
A news article was posted this afternoon that this person had been arrested twice for domestic violence in the past few years!
And a protective order issued.
Yes. 2021.
Possibly.
The sword cuts both ways, and the Biden administration use of "Emergency" declarations empowered the Trump government to continue with the same.

How do we know he had a threat on his life in ES?
PS: sorry my link looks weird / posting from my phone but will repost from my computer later.
Apparently a US immigration judge found there to be one. I asked Groq for a timeline and here’s what it came back with:

How does one facilitate something the other party has no desire to do begin? Go find your common sense. You need it to survive.
The President of El Salvador already answered your question. He was asked why wasn't he released INTO El Salvador instead of put in prison?
The President's response - Why would I want a terrorist walking our streets. We used to be the murder capitol of Central America. We are now the safest.

Check out the timeline/posture of the case from Groq (hardly a left wing company, X).

When a Republican (or any human being) is on the business end of unjust legal proceedings, I feel the exact same way. The US is better than this.
The rule of law is important. When we decide to follow it when we agree with it and not when we don't - we are opening the door to a lot of problems.
Why are you so obsessed with a gang banger who was here illegally. I’m glad he’s out of our country.
https://www.justice.gov/ag/media/1396906/dl?inline
He was arrested 5x in the U.S., the last time he shot a police officer in the leg. The 6th time he was deported.

LOL, most of SCOTUS is blue pilled and covid jabbed.
Watch the Greenwald link I posted. This is blatantly unlawful.

I have this on copy/paste:
NEVER underestimate the stupidity of the general public!
So lay out the facts as they stand right now, with supporting links, as you understand them.
I'm trying to understand what's happening here. Or is Jeff's comment section just supposed to be an echo chamber?
I'm glad people tried to understand what happened to the J6 defendants. Ross Ulbricht. Abortion protestors. Got called stupid there too.
It sadly seems to have turned into an echo chamber. Remember back in the covid days when people here actually had discussions and were open to information? Now its just trust Trump, trust the plan, etc. How about being ethical and following the rule of law? How about being curious?
Right? Agree and I love Coffee & Covid like few other things!
Good breakdown on the timeline from Groq (which appears consistent with stuff I've read):

exactly, its enough already. Bored now, next.

You are right. 😍
See what Seeking Grace posted above ^^ Stephen Miller admits himself that there was a 'withholding order' on the deportation order back then.
But let’s cry and moan about him.
This is what was reported last night-the threat of gangs no longer exists as the gangs themselves no longer exist.

WHY WOULD WE WANT TO? GLUTTONS FOR PUNISHMENT? he hasnt hurt enough people yet, lets give him another chance? LOLOL
I would love to help you out but I have other things to get done right now. But your internet connection is the same as mine, so if you start digging you can find what you’re looking for. Court records are in the public domain and searchable.
Check out the vid from Seeking Grace when you get time, if you haven't already seen it. But yeah sure.
If only you put this much energy into helping a fellow American that is homeless or a veteran in need.
How do you know I don’t? Lol
You are repeating yourself. Time for some memory supps!
Nice ad hominem.
Bored now. Next.
Here is a segment by someone with a constitutional legal background that spends over an hour on the issue you seem to not grasp the importance of - so you can be un-bored. You're welcome!

Wow. I give up.
Very well articulated!
The rule of law should be followed.

dont forget the Black family hounded out of Massachusetts, arrested in Texas and brought back to jail, children taken away.
Yes, sadly still not free. Love professor Clements!
The two things can mutually exist. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere (MLKJ).
Not to the media propagandists who are obsessed with alien individual rights over innocent Americans.
See why it is an important issue:

Two judges deemed him a member of MS-13 and ordered him deported going back to 2019 and the police department also said he was a gang member. Why he was not deported we don’t know but he is a citizen of El Salvador and needed to be deported.
The issue isn't whether or not he should be deported. It is that the administraiton isn't following a court order:
https://rumble.com/v6s52jn-system-update-show-439.html?e9s=src_v1_ucp
What do you make of the withholding order then?
I believe he was in fact found guilty of being a member by a judge. And the next level court on appeal agreed. That’s my understanding

OK THANKS I did not know that ES said he was MS !3!
