Thank you! I don’t care if someone wants to be called they/them, but I won’t do it due to grammatical inaccuracy!

It’s extremely confusing when reading an article about a plural pronoun person and trying to figure out who the other person or people are then realizing the plural is referring to a single person 🙄 Makes zero sense but I guess that goes perfectly with these people since THEY make no sense (and have no sense either!).

It is actually the demons that are being referred to.... Mark 5:9

Lol that’s pretty funny and also a good point 😆 There is a reason for a dedicated and specific plural form! It’s for clarity! Kind of the opposite of all of this woke nonsense.

One of the many reasons I no longer watch this phony tripe. I gain no actual truthful knowledge by watching mainstream media ‘news’.

I haven't watched the "news" for years. I even hate it when a clip is used in something I'm reading or watching. I mute the sound and ff. First, I can't stand the sight of demons and their minions, and second, but actually co-first, I can't stand lies.

Bingo. Same.

I wrote a 'blog post about the trans movement on another medium, but it got convoluted and I'm not proud of it, so I won't repost. (May revisit here and rewrite entirely, but ... The original was crappy.) It's a sticky sticky subject, but one that I have an odd degree of familiarity with, so I can't seem to let it go.

HOWEVER, I did make the point there that I do respect why some folks in this society choose to present as the other sex, and that I respect their wishes within my own parameters. (Which are mine.) I have a friend who was born a dude, but whom I met as a presenting trans female, and I cannot at ALL think of this person as "he." It feels not only disrespectful, but wrong, to me. I met her as a her. She's a STRONG female, but female, to me. Her aura is purple.

But ... She is a trans person who wishes to be a "she." Some folks don't ... I think, TBH, that the "they/thems" are mostly asexual. And there's nothing wrong with that. But they aren't plural!

Possibly gay people can be cured, so they can be normal.

I know this sounds offensive in this woke day and age.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger was deep into finding ways to get help for sexual-anormal people.

Yes, gay people can most certainly be cured! My sister who was a lesbian for 25 years or more was cured by the blood of Jesus Christ. She grew up in church so this was not foreign to her. Initially, she was involved with Crossover, a ministry to help gay people, with many hours of counseling. She has given her testimony at churches, prisons, conferences, etc. She has said that many in the homosexual movement are suicidal, feel unloved, and do not want to be that way. She continues to counsel women and has been married (Biblical kind-one man one woman) for almost 9 years.

I just read in RT (an excellent news resource by the way) that 'The Russian President has ordered the creation of a special institute focused on examining homosexuality and gender identity'....

'Amid a lower parliament discussion of a bill that would ban sex change operations in Russia, Murashko was asked by Deputy Anatoly Wasserman to what extent the Health Ministry was paying attention to studies on psychological and, if need be, psychiatric methods of bringing misconceptions about gender back in line with reality.'

BRAVO TO SANITY!

Can I ask, how do you reconcile the willingness to deceive you with your friendship? I think I would be really angry to find out that someone who told me they were a woman, with a woman's name and woman's heart, was really a man and that it was a lie. I understand that's how she "feels" but it's not truthful. Anorexics "feel" fat, but we don't tell them they're right and should definitely go on a diet. We tell them they're unhealthily skinny and ruining their wellbeing. We try to get them help. We don't continue to affirm the things they believe that aren't true because it's detrimental to their mental, physical and spiritual health. So how do you square that?

I'm asking this honestly and openly, because I would really like to understand.

Expand full comment
Doctor Kitt's avatar

Oooh. Great question GG and thank you. I totally understand your point.

There's no deception with this person. She is VERY open about being trans. It's part of her identity. She is trying to deceive no one. She wears who she is on her sleeve -- take it or leave it, which is how I am, so I relate to that.

If anything, she is MORE open with who she is than I am. I have a "professional character" whose role I play very well. My day job requires me to interface with the Borg Itself, and it feels like a little bit of my Soul needs to give itself up in order to play that character to keep money flowing. I *wish* I could just be who I am, but ... My role in life is different in that way.

I would NOT want to be friends with a born biological male who made the claim to be a born biological woman. That, to me, IS deceptive, and such a person would, I imagine, be highly likely to be a pedo creeper BadGuy.

They should opt for the Shakespearean Thee/Thou/Thine/You/Ye. At least it has some historical accuracy behind it and is (technically) grammatically accurate. And people will think they are quirky, rather than insane.

They were hiding in TabooLand where they belong. As Tucker said. Then we installed a man married to a trans in The White House. And as far as the Man Bites Dog story goes, this is coming out now bc that is the next taboo they want to obliterate. In the end everyone will be a confused pervert ready for Mommy State to own them all.

Just returned from a trip to Vietnam, where the main spiritual foundation is ancestor worship. Before doing anything a person asks themself "what would GrandPa think of me if I did this?". They even have a special kind of portrait of the departed they hang in their houses so the ancestor can take an active part. Grandpa I'm thinking of buying a house, what do you think?

Wikipedia assures me that Vietnam is an "authoritarian socialist" country. I have never seen so much *capitalism* in my life. One woman stopped in a 3 foot space between two buildings and set up a clam noodle shop. NOBODY STOPPED HER. She has been there for 20 years, making a living. I also saw no police or military anywhere, I guess a society with a shared set of traditional cultural values runs pretty much by itself. Be assured that if you do commit a crime punishment is swift and harsh.

In a side street of a side street a tiny grandpa with an army uniform on rushed up to me. He hugged me and showed me the photo of the American war prison he survived, torture, starvation. But his message was *forgiveness*

Thanks for writing. That's all pretty interesting information. And they may be more free in Vietnam, ironies of irony, than we in the US or Australia for that matter. And as I was reading about the noodle shop, I pretty much suspected that people could sell farm produce, meat and vegetables straight to the customer without the Food Police from the Totalitarian State raiding the farm or the market place. I suspect that Vietnam may now have a more viable economy than the US. And God help us when the Funny Money Carousel grinds to a whopping halt.

Sound like you had an enjoyable trip. God bless you.

I will only accept these people after the surgeries. Before that they are born with the equipment they have. I only know of one person who transferred from male to female, and even though he looked very feminine, I can only think of him as HE. There is no changing gender, only sex.

Expand full comment
Doctor Kitt's avatar

Not sure. I don't get involved in the debates (hence the reason I've found it so difficult to pen a cogent article on the topic).

I will say this ... I've NEVER been a typical female on this planet. So ... I sympathize with those who do not fit in. I believe that the social pressures to be and act a certain way based on gender at birth are still WAAAAAAYYYYYYYY more powerful than ANYBODY, on either side of the aisle (so to speak), would ever dare to admit.

That said, I can also COMPLETELY understand how impossible it would be to think of your acquaintance as a "she" after having known him as a "he" beforehand. As I said, I have only known my friend as a "she," so it seems ridiculous to me to think of her as her former male self. (Also ... I don't ask re: surgery. To me, that's their business. I truly don't even want to know.)

I read an article recently that posited that either Jane Austin, Emily Dickinson or Charlotte Bronte (I can't remember and don't want to google; please forgive me) was really a lesbian, or some such rot, because of the way she wrote about the way her own inner mind worked.

My children would tell you I'm very aggressive and rather masculine. But I am very much a woman. Sometimes I wonder if all this confusion is because we don't give people the space to be people. They must fit into this box that says x, y, z and if they don't it's because they really belong in another box. Maybe each of us is as individual as our fingerprints. Maybe each of us have traits that are more feminine/masculine and less feminine/masculine. But those are our inner beings, not our physical bodies that we present to the world. It doesn't mean our bodies are wrong; it simply means there's no one else like us anywhere else on the planet. That's kind of amazing if you think about it because there are billions of people out there, yet none of them are exactly alike. There was a time when we understood this about each other and embraced it, instead of using it to divide ourselves (or allowing ourselves to be divided.)

As a woman who is highly rational and logical, not maternal, very competitive, but also quite feminine and very much attracted to men only, I don't tick "usual" boxes, either, but I honestly could not care less whether or not "someone gives me the space to be me". Other people do not dictate my space, I do. No one needs to give it to me, the space to be me is inherently mine to occupy or not. If I choose to let someone else define it, then I would be letting them define me and would only exist in relation to them and their expectations.
