Kudos to Michael Cassidy who had the balls to do what he did. He knew there would be consequences. So be it. He will be fine. We have his back.

And Putin knows that his position in Ukraine will be solidified once the real President is back in office, and there will be no more unnecessary deaths, and NO more of our money stollen to be laundered into the pockets of corrupt politicians and yachts for the criminal puppet Zelenskyy.

Good riddance Victoria Nuland.

Saw a clip yesterday by Patrick Bet-David where he mentioned that brave people are finding each other, coming together, and saying, "No, you aren't going to do this to our country". Michael Cassidy is yet another example.

As Jeff mentioned, the intent of all this is humiliation. The left is saying they are going to mock our deepest beliefs, rub our face in it, and there's nothing we can do about it. Nice to see people saying nope.

BTW, what about the Governor of Iowa and the gutless legislature that stood by and let this happen? They could have taken a stand and stopped this immediately and then told these demonic people they'd see them in court. But no, they sat back passively under the guide of "tolerance" which is actually cowardice. So it took an average Joe to do what was their job but they were too afraid to do.

“David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.””

EVERY VERSE in the bible has come to animated life of late! the meaning is rock solid.

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Well said. Reading the Bible is often like reading the front page of a newspaper. Our God is amazing!

Yes! I am tired of gutless governors. Legislature could probably say they were out for the “Holidays”….

Jeff C's avatar

The governor put out a shameless photo of her praying with her back to the statue (to God presumably) as some sort of protest. Absurd, gutless, and condescending all in one.

The Bible tells us to pray unceasingly so this isn't a knock on prayer. But the Bible also tells us that when people are committing evil acts we are to take action, not stand there helplessly and hope God does something about it. Using the Governor's logic we should dissolve police forces because God will deal with criminals in the end.

So sick of these holier than thou types using religion as an excuse not to do their freaking jobs. She could have stopped this immediately but instead behaved gutlessly then tried to promote that as some sort of virtue.

Edit: added that the governor had her back to that statue so my comment wouldn't be misconstrued as claiming she was praying to it. She obviously was objecting to it but doing so in the most passive, helpless way possible, making it God's problem not hers.

It's not just the humiliation. It's the punishment, too. There will be consequences - consequences that are so severe that they tell other people they better mind their own business. That's what they did with J6. Pretty much every evil thing that has come down the pike since at least Barry Soetoro has been done with the aim to make people who object afraid to open their mouths.

We need to stop waiting for Superman. Stop waiting for other people to do the hard things. Start doing the hard things ourselves. That's how we win.

Perhaps a more "free speech oriented" approach would have been to build a replica of the Ark of the Covenant and lay a headless, handless image of Baphomet face down in front of the Ark a la Dagon (1 Samuel 5:1-5, https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Samuel+5%3A1-5&version=ESV).

You could even replace the Ark with a manger: "Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." -- Philippians 2:9-11

There aren’t any deaths that are necessary, all he has to do is withdraw and go back to the lines Russia agreed too, simple.

Politico Phil's avatar

The Great Lie

Jimmy Dore summarizes the great lie that has kept this war afloat.

The West have fooled the public to believe Russia are the aggressors, when it was the US CIA/State Dept who funded literal nazi militant groups and overthrew a sovereign nation, then took control of it via proxy. AND funded an created a massive army, with Western equipment, right on Russia’s border. AND they were slaughtering ethnic Russians in the Donbas. AND they were conducting nefarious ILLEGAL biological research and pathogen production.

Putin did what he had to do, and rightfully so.

The majority of Americans STILL do not know this, which allows the US and Ukraine to maintain their status as the victims, when they are the ones who brought war to Russia’s doorstep.

The sooner the public realize this reality, the sooner we can clean up the mess.

https://bioclandestine.substack.com/p/the-great-lie

Roger Beal's avatar

I stand corrected; there was no previously-expressed agreement to deny Ukraine membership. But there is also no great hurry to sign up Ukraine as a NATO partner: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-66167616

Benjamin Two N's's avatar

Ukraine had been rejected previously and was ineligible with the current Russian invasion in 2014 which is why Russia invaded when they did so they could keep them from joining.

Once the war is over Ukraine will be fast tracked because it's become apparent that Nato membership for a nation that wants to remain free next to Russia is mandatory.

The current invasion was never about Nato. It was about Putin striking when he thought the time was right and all his yes men gave him the answer he wanted to hear and to cover up their corruption vs the answer he needed to hear.

As the Russian government spokesman said "The Ukrainian question has been solved".

Tio Nico's avatar

yes it so far has been solved: the Ukraine is NOT a mamber nation in the NATO. That is all Putin ever wanted, and that will be the one non-negotiable item in any treaty or agreemen.

Further you seem to have forgotten a couple details: first, the Crimea and the Donbas have been part of Russia for centuries, artificuially annexed to "Ukraine" as she was formed out of the dust of confustion. (this is called "balkanisation", an old trick of the West to weaken and destabilise "countries") Further, both of those fomer Russian territories VOTED in free and fair elections to cede from the Ukraine, in ine case to remain neutral, in the other to rejoin old Russia. The PEOPLE have spoken, yet the Zelensky/Biden cabal would force them to remain under the thumb of the Ukraine. Don't forget, Sebastopol has been, in the past, the Capitol City of Russia, and has been their all-weather seaport and main naval base for a few centuries. WHY would anyone think it should all remain as part of the Ukraine?

Roger Kimber, MD's avatar

Slo China Joe invited Putin to invade Ukraine just before this all started IIRC: ‘just a little incursion (just a little nibble )’.

That quote was quickly rabbit holed by the Praetorian guard in the press; who also have not noted for context that there was a 4 year interregnum where Mr. Putin refrained from feasting or even nibbling on Ukraine (gosh I wonder why that was? Global warming? Random chance? Coincidence? Couldn’t have been because of Orange Man, nothing good ever happened on his watch, did it, or so the MSM said.

Marc's avatar

“Like he was supposed to”

When did he ever say that the plan was to take Kiev or control all of Ukraine?

The Great Santini's avatar

Putin declared his intention to take over Kyiv and Ukraine on the day immediately before the invasion in a 5 hour speech. He also stated in that speech that his subsequent objective was to reconquer all of the territories of the old Soviet Union, including the former Eastern Block countries, especially the Baltic States and Poland.

Sam's avatar

BS. Putin named 3 goals for the SMO.

De-Nazi Ukraine.

Demilitarize Ukraine.

Reinstate NATO’s borders back to where they were in 1991.

That’s it. Everything you said is just made up nonsense. Where did you get your information? You can still find his speech online and see for yourself what he said.

He was ready to sign the peace agreement with Zelensky and to show good faith he withdrew his troops from Kiev. And then there were the 2 Minsk agreements that Putin signed with Merkle and Hollande who recently admitted that they only signed them to give Ukraine the chance to be militarized. And don’t forget that it was Obama’s coup that started the war.

How can so many people be so ignorant of facts?

Politico Phil's avatar

Because they are not "ignorant" (though I reserve the right to call them morons). They are deceivers and they wouldn't know truth if they tripped over it.

The Great Santini's avatar

(1) I read the speech at the time of his 2nd invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. (The 1st was in 2014.) English translation. Long winded but clear. (2) Didn’t bother to keep a copy as I didn’t plan to argue with revisionist historians. (3) Yes. Putin’s immediate objective was to ‘de-Nazify Ukraine’. That’s shorthand for conquer Ukraine. Strange that de-Nazification involves the removal of a Jewish political leader whose forebears fought in the Red Army, but I digress. Putin’s further ambitions were to destroy NATO and roll over the Balts and the Poles. After the Ukrainians gave him a rather impressive beat down, he did claim that he only wanted to keep NATO out of Ukraine, etc. But that was an obvious lie to disarm the gullible. (4) If anybody believed what you have said the Balts, the Poles, the Swedes and the Finns would all be ‘whatever’. Instead they are arming up, joining NATO, supporting Ukraine, etc. Wonder why that would be going on if anybody believed Putin had the limited objectives you claim. (5) If you want a historical precedent to ponder, consider Hitler’s absorption of Austria (“they’re really Germans”), then the Sudetenland (“hey they’re Germans too”), then all of Czechoslovakia (“it was just there; we’ll stop now; peace in our time”) and finally Poland, and the 1939 to 1945 War Games also known as World War II. That little shindig cost my family a couple of dead and twice as many wounded. I don’t have to wonder what the survivors thought about that situation. One and all they said, “we should have stopped that SOB in Austria”. And yes, those were the words they used sitting around the kitchen table, especially when thinking of their siblings who were no longer there. (6) I’m willing to stipulate that the current Administration has been fouling this up by the numbers, literally from Day One. I’m further willing to stipulate that they are undoubtedly corrupt and probably diverting US Gov’t funds into their pockets. But that doesn’t make Putin a nice guy with limited objectives and reasonable demands. Nor does it mean that the Ukrainians are undeserving of our support. Nor does it mean that if Ukraine falls that it will stop there, Putin’s claims notwithstanding. In fact, almost certainly the opposite.

WP William's avatar

Putin's designs are also cemented to aligning with Syria and Iran (and Huthis etc) and any others he can intimidate and threaten. So even without direct military conflict, those resisting the Neo-Russian Sphere will be targeted, destabilized, infiltrated, hacked, nudged as able. His pro-traditionalist masking and double-talking only gets traction as the West descends headlong into frivolous hedonism and unravels--he is interested in touting his 'heroism" to those of us in the West that are sickened by the prolific overtness of Globalistic Deep State, NeoCon, and Obamanistic policies and push to adulterate our freedoms, culture, historical legacy, and institutions. Putin is only helped by our division in holding him at bay and our cultural-societal suicide into a depraved and ineffectual mass of selfish mush.

It's curious how the Obama-Biden courting of Iran could in theory be used to unhinge the Russian hold there--but that's likely just a Deep-State Wet Dream and we're just being played by them just as it looks like. As a people and a nation We need to wake the F up and take back our foreign policy and entanglements--the professional class elitists and specialists like to make it appear that we moralistic, treaty-averse idiots would only screw things up...what grade would one give US Foreign policy 2001-2023?, 1991-23? 1973-23?, 1944-23? 1917-23? 1898-23? A debate worth having anyway--Carry Out OUR Policy or you're fired, defunded, and discredited. 20% of Americans want our troops to fight Russians on Ukraine soil? That idiocy is leverage to Deep-Staters and we, the collective ADULTS in the electorate and population of VALID Citizenry need to assert our role and expel such Dumb-Assery from any consideration.

Sam's avatar

Putin didn’t ‘invade' Crimea because he already had a naval base there for years. And the people were allowed to vote on whether they wanted to be Russians or Ukrainian and they voted to be Russian. The vote was witnessed by many voting rights groups including Jimmy Carter and it was fair and square.

Putin had every right to defend the base. Think that he would let America take over the base just over the sea from Russia? Think America would let Russia overthrow Mexico’s government and install weapons that could reach Washington in less time?

And yes WHEN Ukraine fails Russia will not go on to conquer more countries. The only people who say that is his plan are ignorant neocons who have long held hatred for Putin because he stopped them stealing everything not nailed down after the USSR collapsed. And ignorant people who believe the neocons.

Marc's avatar

Why are you guys lying? No such speech was given, i guarantee you can’t provide a link to that speech. He explicitly stated that his goals were the “demilitarization, denazification, and neutrality” of Ukraine. There’s a Reuters report from yesterday where he reaffirms that Russia’s initial goals haven’t changed.

“Ukraine has returned to Russia”.

Well, that didn’t age well

Putin’s government spokesman declared victory and ended up having to eat it and withdraw the article.

It was only a few days ago Putin claimed Russia had the right to rule all of the former ussr and empire colonies like Ukraine, the Baltics, Poland, and Alaska.

Benjamin Two N's's avatar

When his government released a victory speech claiming Ukraine has returned to Russia.

It’s also evident when you send tens of thousands of your best troops on an air assault to Kyiv to take the city.

Lisa P's avatar

You have to wonder why Putin hasn't already retreated, right? He's already lost 90% of his army. It also makes one wonder why so many are saying if we don't give more $ to Ukraine, Putin will invade Poland and the Baltics. How could he possibly do that with just 10% of his army?

Benjamin Two N's's avatar

They did retreat from the capital last year and suffered humiliating defeats at Kharkiv and Kherson.

Remember, that’s the pre war army. They’ve had 2 mobilizations since then along with large stealth mobilizations.

Ukraine doesn’t need cash, just weapons and they will keep massacring Russian soldiers in avdiivka, vuhledar, , and kreminna…3 failed Russian offensives this year alone

Lisa P's avatar

What do you think the Ukrainian Army should do with the Russian speaking population once Putin takes his army back home?

Sam's avatar

Those places are part of Russia now and Putin will only withdraw his troops once he either meets his goals or Ukraine sues for peace.

One of the reasons why Russia crossed the border was to protect those Russian speakers in the Donbas from their own government because they didn’t accept to be ruled by the Nazi government. It’d be like Biden bombing people in Texas who don’t think that he’s the legitimate president. You think that would be okay?

Benjamin Two N's's avatar

The Ukrainians elected a Russian speaker as president.

That’s Zelenskyy.

He didn’t speak Ukrainian until he was president.

Straight, organic coconut milk is best. The sunflower/safflower oils in all of the other nut milk products., and other products, HIGHLY inflammatory. It's the ALA.

Karen Bandy's avatar

I just looked at the box again, it does have Sunflower Lecithin. Also, I do know that almond skin has lectins which are inflammatory.

Straight organic coconut milk is too thin for me, so sometimes I will whip up organic canned coconut, but it's really high in calories.

Such a dilemma, Maybe I should just go back to tea! I resisted coffee for years, my husband is a fiend for black coffee so I finally gave in 10 years ago, 25+ years into the relationship, lol!

My whole family for years has been trying to lure me "to the dark side" as my sister calls it. Mr. "the Knife" tried to pull a fast one about 15 years ago: He asked me if I would like a hot chocolate, to which I responded, "yes, please!" When I took a sip, the flavor of coffee was awful.

Me: "Why did you put coffee in my cocoa?"

Him: "I put a teaspoon in, how can you even taste that?"

Me: "I haven't ruined my taste buds with all the hot sauces, like you have!"

He still offers me coffee from time to time and I still say, sometimes with a shudder, "No thank you!!"

Mrs. "the Knife"

P.S. It is all in good fun - he brings me tea and I fill his thermos with coffee for work every day!

Karen Bandy's avatar

That’s so funny Mrs. TK. You’ve done a good job of resisting the drink of darkness 😉

Have a great Sunday, I see there’s a special C&C, I better get to it!

Erin Fight's avatar

I use canned coconut milk. Yes, calorically, it is high, but, it's good fat-derived calories. Plus, it's only a couple of tablespoons. In addition, coconut is naturally anti-microbial. Try to make sure it is in a BPA-free can- yet another hurdle to jump!

Karen Bandy's avatar

Yes, you are right, I used to use it all the time but we RV a lot and fridge storage is tough, small, and sometimes we’re off grid and can’t whip up a new batch so I guess I just got in the habit of the store bought. Definitely BPA free.

I feed my doggies and kitties canned pumpkin and make sure that’s also Bpa free! Thanks for the input, reminders are good.

Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” And He answered and said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the fiery furnace; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.”

— Matthew 13:36-43 LSB

And you know why there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Some anger. Some regret. Yes those things. But how does a person thrown into a fiery furnace of hell gnash anything? Thank goodness for people like Michael Cassidy. Willing to stand up and be civilly disobedient! In his defense I hope he is able to enter into the record the enormous list of 2020 rioters who defaced and tore down many public and private statues, committed acts of violence against other peoples property and their bodies, and walked away free as a bird with ZERO consequences!

I hope (even though it would be an option) that he does NOT choose to pay them for their disgusting shameful display and property!

Johnny Be Real's avatar

“mild, non-violent civil disobedience” reminds me of the people in England defacing the cameras they set up to charge cars for using streets.

Or the people in NY who painted over the BLM propaganda the city put on the streets.

So many examples to remember...

I completely agree Sunnydaze! I hope the good people of Iowa involved in this case will see through the sham and set a precedent that they won’t tolerate this evil in their state. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on X...

Not only that, it didn’t remove Ukraine funding and doubled it to $600 million, funded abortion vacations, and kept trans in our military.

Worst of all, they shoved the FISA spy court into our defense bill. The NDAA should NEVER reauthorize the weaponization of our justice system that Joe Biden’s DOJ and the FBI are using to spy on American citizens!

As FISA Extension Proves, Primary Season Is EVERYTHING

How many times must the GOP base be betrayed before we're willing to do something about it?

Another day, another betrayal by the Republican wing of the UniParty Swamp. The House overwhelmingly passed the NDAA and failed to strip out the extension of FISA domestic spying. Oddly, Senate Republicans actually did a better job of attempting to stop it than their House partners. Both still failed to do the will of their constituents and defend the Constitution...

...Every election, we get to hear talking heads tell us this is the most important vote of our lifetimes. But for the first time in my lifetime, I believe that the old talking point may finally be true. Regardless of who wins the presidential election, wresting away power from the UniParty Swamp in the legislature may be the difference between returning our country to its proper state or losing it altogether.

If only Satan were “the most hated figure in human history.” He comes as a facade, a chimera, a distraction … “look over there, and not at God!” He makes vice appear as virtue, a true inverted morality. Last Easter (Easter!) a local Thai restaurant, the Emerald of Siam, hosted a “family-friendly Easter drag show.” Protesting it brought down loud accusations that anyone objecting was an intolerant hater. Even upon the city councilwoman who suggested it might not be appropriate.

Bryn Cannon's avatar

I think if these anti-Christian groups put up a display at any random time not associated with any Christian event or holiday, most people would just ignore it. (Most of us wouldn’t like it, but there are crazy people out there.) It’s the proximity that makes it so offensive. If there’s a “hate crime” here, it’s what the Satanists are doing, not the Christians who object and act.

Turn it around: If, during Black History Month there was a display of a white-cloaked KKK guy standing next to a black person hanging from a tree, most people would object, and rightly so, and the display would be destroyed or taken down within the hour. And that display would probably be called a “hate crime” against Black people.

It doesn't bother you that Putin blamed us, the people, for the elite's behavior as an empire? -- "Because in the public conscience they must act like an empire. And once they agree on anything with anyone or make any concessions, the voters take it as a failure. That is why the ruling elite has to behave this way.”

As if we the people had any control over our government at all, or as if we want the forever wars and the inflation and the crappy living conditions that have resulted from the decisions and policies the government keeps making.

Either Putin's misinterpreting the situation, or as you point out, he's waiting for Trump to come. But what seems disturbing are the implications that we the people are the problem for the elite/Trump. That certainly doesn't appear to be good news in terms of how Putin will try to influence Trump in his treatment of we the people.

Angus McPherson's avatar

"As if we the people had any control over our government at all" Yikes. I know what you mean. But at least 40% of 'we the people' are so partisan as to accept RL Peters as president and defend him. Why? Because he is in their party. And all the terrible actions of the administration are unfortunately from the world's POV on 'we the people.' I have vowed NEVER to vote based on someone's affiliation to my cause, but on their actions and the content of the character. A majority in congress of "our party" is meaningless when they won't vote to remove FISA, defund the IRS expansion, remove immunity for vaccines, remove deficit spending and all the other common sense things that seem to be required for our survival.

E.Z. Prine's avatar

The democrats I know get their news from mainstream news media and have never even heard of substack. They seem to be stuck in the last century in their views and habits, as if they could keep things the way they used to like them by pretending that they're still the same. I think they're now starting to wake up because their lifestyles and health are being directly affected. I don't know if they could even conceive of voting republican because their lifelong identity is democrat. I applaud your approach and wish more would look at actions and character -- and read substack.

devoalan's avatar

Y point also, though you have made it much more succinct than I could have. We, the people, especially those thinking people, have been totally left out of the loop on this, and we totally disapprove. J6 should have been a skirmish, with weapons. Because they stole it, end of story. Actually 4 November should have been D day here. The only thing that bothers me about putin saying this, is he thinks we approve. And they do our bidding. And Russians and Americans are more alike than different, especially lately.

E.Z. Prine's avatar

Yes, I don't know anyone across the political spectrum who approves of what the government is doing, even liberal democrats. Putin is seriously misinformed if he thinks the people approve.

I have some news of mediocre interest on the COVID front:

6 ladies meet all day to work on a project. Indoors. Small space.

One lady comes down with COVID 2d later. Of course she does not want to tell anyone. Nobody wants to out themselves as Typhoid Mary esp. during holidays. But she finally did out herself when we were planning a get together this coming week.

Anyway: Composition of group - 4 vaccinated (one had just gotten her booster the day before and was not feeling well from it. Color me shocked). 2 no jab evers, but both have natural immunity.

GUESSSSS who is sick. Shouldn't be hard to suss out. Guess who is very sick. Guess who is not sick (and it's a good thing since I have hugged probably 100 people since our meeting!)

How long is a polite waiting time to point out the obvious dissonant facts to the jabtastic government lie believers?

Any time you come down with ANY sickness, how about telling the people you have been in close contact with so they can not go around hugging people during the incubation period. PEOPLE!

Levans's avatar

Don't waste your breath. If they really don't see it by now they don't care to. They will only see it when they want to. Nothing you say would change anything. As far as not outing themselves , I see the opposite here . My colleagues, all v'd , ( I am the lone hold out) are fine with saying they and their fams are cov + ( over and over again , I might add) . It's almost like a proud proclamation now as if they are such great citizens to " protect" everyone and see how obedient they are ... Weird .

Raptor's avatar

That is weird.

Something that seems utterly improbable to the Jab Skeptics is that there people out there that do not know the truth. There are. I know them. They do not watch or read anything outside of the big three networks and CNN/NYT. When you try the truth on them they look at you like you are making it up out of whole conspiracy laden cloth. I try, they laugh, I let it go. But here is proof staring them in the face. If they can't see it with their own two eyes, THEN I give up.

I will add that the newly jabbed lady is a seriously fearful person. Like I worry about her sanity. I won't let her wear a mask at my house. I bet she is seriously mad at me right now. She should be giving me a hug. But who shouldn't? I am lovable and adorable. Haha,.

Bryn Cannon's avatar

So, did the boosted lady give covid to the lady who got sick? ;-)

devoalan's avatar

I find it the same. Very odd behavior. in upstate ny, where I hie from originally, a couple of my old buds almost think it’s cool to get sick now. I never hear the end of all the people coming down with it every quarter, it seems. And being from Florida, I’m just amazed. None of my people down here are sick, or get sick. I’m in a band, so I am socializing more than many, and sometimes we are jammed in tight quarters, heavy breathing and such from wind instruments and singing. Nothing. Nobody getting sick.

Fla Mom's avatar

I wonder if you can't just express sincere sympathy with them that they are sick in spite of their 'vaccination' status; how sad that the injection didn't protect them; wish them a speedy recovery, etc. Worded carefully, it might dawn on them without being offensive.

Raptor's avatar

I have already expressed sympathy and am dropping bone broth at their homes. I was talking with my fellow unvaxxed friend about how to bring up that the two unvaxxed were the only ones who did not get sick and the just vaxxed is the sickest. We have put together that the lady who initially got sick had never had C before. She did, however, get a black arm from the last jab (after which the two not jabbers begged her to stop the madness). She and her husband literally quarantined themselves for 2 years. I think that has not helped her immune system either. Everyone else (except the lady who just got boosted - her we don't know) has had C before.

So. We are working out how to point out the lies. They got C. They spread it to others. At least one of them got C bad, One has had serious jab side effects (clots in legs), natural immunity works when not jabbed, but not so much for the jabbed. I am the more diplomatic of the two of us. Yes. Unbelievably. I have a month or so to work on messaging with her. We meet next week. I should also say she has reasons to be harsh with them and she is not a Christian and forgiveness is not really high on the priority list.

I have to travel to Europe for work in 2024 and this is my concern. My European colleagues are constantly sick. It's nearly always "Covid" although occasionally someone will point out that they tested multiple times and it's "still not Covid". Hopefully, I'll be in the "not sick" group when it's all said and done.

Raptor's avatar

JCM, If you are not already: Quercetin, Zinc (glycinate), lots of C, D3, K2 (MK-7). Start right now. Zinc needs to be IN your system before you get sick). Keep the stress low, sleep as much as you can, drink lots of water and wash your hands (keep them out of your mouth and nose). Bring a diluted (1% soln) providone iodine spray with you and use it especially in tight quarters).

Have fun. Haha.

John Cougar Misanthrope's avatar

Thank you. I have been taking the Spike Support Formula along with curcumin and other supplements. I also use the Xclear nasal spray. I exercise daily - just got back from the rink - and spend a lot of time outside. I stopped putting my hands in my mouth and nose around the age of two so I should be pretty good there.

For some reason that last sentence cracked me up. Thank you.

Dr. Syed Haider recommends really high dose C right when you start feeling a respiratory infection. I upped my prophylactic C to 3000 mg/day as that’s the level I can handle without being in the bathroom all day lol!

He’ll take at least 10 GRAMS of C at first signs. I’m waiting to try it out, haven’t been sick in over a year though.

Deb S's avatar

We had a big group (5 couples plus my uncle, who is a chef and came to cook for us) take a trip to Italy a couple of months ago. All the girls (except one) came down with COVID after the trip. I honestly don’t know the vax status of the lucky survivor. Not my business. The others are jabbed. I had it for 2 days, then was fine. The others were down for a week, minimum. The boys didn’t get it at all. Jerks. 😄

Please do be careful with zinc. It can screw up the copper levels in your blood.

RSgva's avatar

The same thing has happened to me. And it seems that every time a European visitor arrives here, they give someone a terrible sore throat and hacking cough.

John Cougar Misanthrope's avatar

Shedding is a thing. As I've stated in the past, there was a guy in my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class who was by his own admission 'up-to-date' on his Covid vaccines. Without fail, I would experience an upper-respiratory issue within a day of rolling with him in class. Much to my dismay, most of the guys on my hockey team in Michigan ran out to get their shots in early 2021. I would have the same reaction after every game and practice just from being in close proximity to them in the locker room.

RSgva's avatar

Agree, same thing has happened to me and other friends. One friend gets ovarian and chest pains every time she travels on a train in Europe. Another friend got the first two vaccines, but her husband is on his fourth or fifth and she gets major respiratory illness for a week each time thereafter.

I don’t believe anyone who tells me they have “covid.” The tests are useless. I just shrug, and acknowledge to myself, they have the flu or a minor cold.

Deb's avatar

Ever heard of a person in the last 3 yrs tht got a cold or the flu? Guess it doesn’t exist anymore. Onward and upward

Peace's avatar

Only ones I've heard admitting to having a cold or flu are unvaccinated. Otherwise, the diagnosis is C-19.

Raptor's avatar

I know. Not many. What cracks me up is when they get the flu they are not worried because they got the flu shot. I'm like - that is to keep you from getting it. not to keep you from dying. All vaccines are miracle injections now. And they are dumb as rocks. Sorry rocks.

Raptor's avatar

The other lady who did not get sick (no jab) asked me if I was going to stick that infernal reamer up my nose. I'm like "I am not even sick and if I were I don't give one BLEEEEP if it's Covid. In fact I hope it is Covid and not the flu because the last flu I had was terrible!"

St. Alia the Knife's avatar

Raptor, I am in full agreement! Mr. "the Knife" and I had a horrendous flu Christmas of 2018 or 2019 - the kind where at first you are afraid you are going to die, and then you are afraid you aren't going to die! We have both been sick a couple of times since then and NOTHING was as bad as that flu! People ask, "Have you tested for CV?" I always reply, "Why would I? I treat it all the same: 2-3 grams of Vit C every 2-3 hours, lots of green tea, bone broth, nasal rinses w/ 2 drops of Lugol's iodine, sleep as much as I can, and the worst is over in 36 - 48 hours!" To completely mangle a certain quote, "At this point, what difference does testing make?" 🤣😂🤣

Mrs. "the Knife"

Deb S's avatar

Agreed. I only know I’ve had it twice because I completely lost my sense of taste/smell. It’s not like the “my nose is so stuffy I can’t smell or taste very well”. It’s more like “I literally cannot smell Vicks Vaporub stuck up under my nose, even though I’m not horribly congested”. Then a couple of days later it comes back. Like flipping a switch. So weird!!

Raptor's avatar

I had a cold of some sort in Nov 19. I lost my smell and when it came back if I smelled chicken, coffee or tasted wine I wanted to throw up. They tasted and smelled like garbage for well into the time when C19 hit. I swore I had it, but it was Nov and they did an antibody test on me. What a racket. I still don't like white wine. Saddest saddest thing. I love wine. Haha.

I will have to ask the original sickie if her friend she went to lunch with had been recently boosted. Or if she had for that matter.

Other lady who had just been boosted looked hellish today. She was so fearful I would get it and I am like - I spent 8 hours in an enclosed room with you gaggle of yackers. I didn't get it. I am fine. But yeah, fever and breathing problems. She is old.
