I've tried Pops_OS!, Fedora, Manjaro, LinuxMX, Debian ... and quite a few others. I always return to Mint (Cinnamon Desktop). The installer is easy. Customization a chinch. The Software Store is now top drawer. And there are plenty of helps in Search and YouTube.

Before switching to a Linux OS, make sure that your (reader's) computer will safely load a Linux distribution. (DeWife tried a Chromebook once. We knew that it would not load Linux without a risk of breaking the BIOS.) Also, an integrated graphics central processor chip is perfect for Linux. I've had trouble with Nividia graphics. Fortunately, the troubles disappear as Linux editions evolve. And by the way, most people have either Intel or AMD computer central processor units (CPU) which have integrated graphics.

Austin: I had two machines that came with Windows 8 which I detested as an abomination ... and reinstalled Windows 7 which was good. Recently I tried Windows 11 and found it surprisingly smooth. However, I love the freedom of open source ... and having nothing to do with Microsoft. So for me, it's Linux Forever!

Bought a bare bones box about 10 years ago for less than $500. Been running Ubuntu ever since but have been looking into Arch. Thanks for the note about Mint

Nice to hear from you. I used PCLinuxOS in the beginning because it was the only thing which ran my machine. Later on I used Ubuntu, and Ubuntu is decent and a lot of people still use it. Good luck with Arch which may be beyond me, but will look again and see. I am low level use, just video, LibreOffice, browser ... and so I go the really simple route. I know enough to install, use BIOS settings, etc. Mint has it all for me.

I paid as high as $3,200 for a high end machine from System76 once just to see if I could see a difference. Nope. I could have gotten something from System76 for around $1300 with two storage bays and with an i5 or i7 Intel chip and never know the difference. And so, you are wise to be economical. Shooting for the moon in terms of the latest, latest is invariously a fool's mission. (Oops! Did I just let something out of the bag?)

Thanks for writing. And with best wishes forward.

Curious if Mint works on Mac? Ta.

Expand full comment

I've never have done it because I never owned a Mac. But my friend has run Mint, Debian, Fedora on several old Macs he's owned. And there is plenty on the subject ... both search engine and on YouTube videos. And also, my friend just texted me and says he is now running Fedora 38 on his Mac and may add Mint.

I just watched a geeky guy who put a newer version of Mint (20 or 21 something) onto a 2013 year old Mac. It was a torture to geeky watch, but ... here's a point he made. Older versions of Mac OS are no longer supported. And so, put on a new supported up to date Linux Mint OS, or something else. And you are not apt to be a target. Nope! Windows users are the prime rich hanging fruit of hacker targeting. I've been using Linux for almost ten years now, and never had a security problem.

Most videos are a torture, but I just found Veronica. And I like Veronica. Just started it and it hold promise as Veronica seems very sensible and direct, and well put together in logical trains of conversation.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7wOcIvWdxc

Again, there seems to be plenty of info on line both YouTube and Search. And Mint is a good choice because it is a well supported OS with plenty of 'helps' available. And by the way, the Linux Mint installer is one of the easiest there is to use. Very easy these days.

Hope this helps!

Not quite accurate. History records that Nero Caesar (the Beast of Revalation, by ame and number) was forced to suicide himself after he brutally murdered is Wife... kicked her to death, then assured the child growing in her womb was also dead. (he had earlier murdered his only son to be born, thus assuring he would be the last in the Julian line of Roman Emperors). Some of his guards presented Nero with his short sword, then demanded he use it to slit his own throat. He was immediately and quietly secreted away, and this seems to have goven rise to the rumour or theory that he was not dead, only wounded, and also later rumours that he had survived the head/neck wound and would again rise to power. Thanfully this was not the case... John's description of Rome suffering a would and recovering s more ccurately interpreted as cincerning the time period immediately folliwng Nero's death, when three new emprerors succeded wach other over a period of less than a year and a half, and it appeared for a time that the Roman Empire was dead.... the result of the post-Nero chaos in the now rulerless empire. The general, Vespasian, whom Nero had ordered to Jeusalem to "tame those rebellious Jews" did so, together with his son Titus Imperator (the one whose army ultimately destroyed the Temple and all of Jerusalem, then chased all the remaining Zealots out into the Plain of Megiddo... "har megiddo" in Hebrew, Armegeddon in greek) where they were utterly destroyed to the last man) After all that dust settled Vespasian assumed the role of Empoeror over the entire Roman Empira and ruled over a world with no discernible entity fitting the descrition of "the Jews". as Jesus had predicted, the entire Jewish state, society, government, nation, and georgaphic centre was utterly destroyed. And ALL THIS hapened before this present generation wasses away",, agai preciesley as He had clearly predicted. (Matthew 23, 40m thereabous.. make sure you read His response to the question the Twelve out to him: Lord, when will these things be?"

Tio, it would seem that you follow the preterist perspective of the End Times, in which the prophecies of Revelation all came to pass with the fall of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Several things to point out . . . har in Hebrew means mountain, so Armageddon will not take place in the Jezreel Valley where the archaeological tell of Megiddo exists. No mountains exist there. Irenaeus was the first to propose gematria (using numbers associated with each letter) to try to identify the beast of Revelation, and he suggested the Greek word for titan, not Nero. Plus, that wasn't even until the second century AD. Gematria is far too complex for it to be workable. Besides, the beast of Revelation had seven heads, with only one being wounded. Nero simply can't qualify for that role. Finally, it was Domitian who exiled John to Patmos and that wasn't until 90+ AD, so his prophecies couldn't be about the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD. They would have been no more than history if that was the case.

John said that all who read, who hear, and who keep to the words of his prophecies would be blessed. If most, or all, of Revelation has already been fulfilled (except His Second Coming), how does that ancient history bless us today? Let me propose a different perspective. What if the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD was but one of many foreshadows of things to come in the End Times? And what if we're now in those End Times?

Numbers in the Bible all have symbolic meaning. Seven has numerous meanings, not just as the number symbolic of Christ. It's also the number of completion and can represent the completed cosmos and the earth (seven seas, seven continents). Ten represents government and law (Ten Commandments). So the beast from the sea in Revelation with seven heads and ten horns represents global government. In today's world, that would be the Deep State, as we call it. Only one head was wounded. Here's a wild thought . . . What if Trump caused that wound? The Deep State thought they had their plans all locked in with the election of Hillary Clinton, and then Trump was elected, setting them back 4 years. The Deep State's theft of the election in 2020 healed that wound. There's more to this story, and you might simply shake your head and say 'no way.' But just ponder it for a while.

a numbe of things.. I don't knew what HATTTT??!!??

The description of the woman on the scarlet beast tells... she had seven heads, which were specifically defined as "kings, then it says "five are not".. now dead, but wre kings), one is (the present king in that lineup of seven), and the one who is to come (the one to replace the present one) wn't be there for long. Go and read your Romn history... five caesars stating with Julius, who brought the last three provinces into the Roman Empire during his reign, then Augustus, then Tiberias (the one reigning when Jesus was executed), then Galba, I believe number five was Caligula (might have a couple swapped.. pretty tired right now), and Nero was mosst certinly umber six.. and HE did suffer the self-inflicted head/neck would John describes. After that was the succession of the three whose total reigns spanned less than a year and a half. Vespasian was next.

John does ideed use the numberology correctly. He sed the HEBREW form of Nero's name,, which would be well known to all believers at that time/place. NOT the roman nor greek. Once youunderstanc that each language/ulture has its own set of rules for the numeroloty in THAT language/culture you will then have to learn what THAT language had for rules. I've seen numerous workups usig he HEBRE form of Nero Caesar and it does ibdeed come out to six hndred three score and six. Amusing side note... some, taking Jonh's word at the fct it was Nero Caesar, used the Greek form of Nero Caesar and that comes up with six hundred TEN and six.... 616 in figures. Tha was a not-infrequant rendering of the numbere of the beast.

You pu some sort of label on me.. I do not accept those. I know history, I know the biblica texts, and simply take them at face value.

I told you to go and read the Olivet Discourse as written in Mathew' s gospel, and pay particular attention to the response of Jesus when his guys asked "well, WHEN will these things happen?" Go right now and find His answer.

Now come back and either tell me Jesus was lying or that things did NOT pan out as He predicted. I am trapped betwen ONLY those two possible possibilities.

One more thing.... bout that hebrew word "har". Yes it can mean mountay, but can also mean a plain.. morelike a specific geological place. The plain where the tens of thousands of zealots went to escape the Romans once they had trashed the city. They knew the Romans were deterimined to effect a wholesale slaughter. This is also predicted in Jphn's book. It was the large plain below Mt. Megiddo.

As to who sent John to Patmos... Roman and Jewish records both recored it was Nero who sent him there. Nero was angry with him because of the success of his work buildong the chiurch in Ephesus. He sent and had John arrested and transported in chains back to Rme, where he was tried and convicted. His sentence was work slavery on Patmos, under guard. Clement of Alexantria, and early church elder or bishop reports this in his own writongs. It was not Diometian who sentenced him. By that time he was far too old to be a useful hard-rock sort of slave. They'd have simply executed him instead of wasting resources feeding an incapable rock crusher. Slaves had to earn their biscuits or were offed.

Do some studying in the Roman and Jesish records. These are all still around, most have been well ranslated into english and are able to be found online. Funny how those ancient records are far more accurate in agreing with both Jesus and John and their predictions of "things soon to come to pass" (that greek word ranslated as "soon" means more like he's walking down the road right now and will be here in a very short time, get supper on he'll be here soon" and not "two thousand years down the road someday somewhere somehow. these things were spoken and recorded by Jesus, john, and others, to be a warning and a comfort and instructions for surviving the coming troubles.

You might recall Jesus stating to His guys.. when you see tha lawless onem the man of sin, committing the bomination that leads to desolation in the Temple, know the time is NOW.. don't even take the time to head downstairs and fetch your coat. Leave Jerusalem NOW. He even told them which direction to head i=off into.... Jewish records show hundreds of thousands of residents of Jerusalem witnessing the "abomination of desolation (who did it and the date are recorded) " remembering the insrructions of esus, and DOING IT RIGHT NOW. They all left toward the northeast, thus dodging the army coming in frm the Euhprates River valley to helo Titus as he conquered and destroyed Jerusalem.... precisely as Jesus jad foretold, including when and how.

I too often grieve when I hear and see my Bretheren all focussed on Jesus coming back to beat up the bad guys and take us all home before or after this or that fantastical supposition on what'd ginna happen.. when it already HAS happened. Just as HE DAID,, ALL THESE THINGS SHALL take place BEFORE this present generation passes on. That generation being precisely the one that murdered Him. "Vengenace is MINE, says the Lord I WILL repay". And He surely did. And so He arranged for John to write his "little book" giving a road map and timetable for what was coming... and good information on how to overcome and triumph in the middle of all the "goings on".

Scofield was not the first to make this left turn.. that was John Darby, around 1830. Scofield cme about sixty years later, and wrote his "study bible". I know folks who live by that thing.. very verse always and only leads to another specific one, like a rat larning the maze into which he has been dropped.Sad....

Hal Lindsay. intersting how God used his Late Great book. A friend of mine gave me a copy of it, and I read it..as I was looking for answrs, and honestly seeking truth. Er, I meant Truth. I grew up in a pretty dead denominational organisation (which one matters naught at this point) I had aken away only one sound irrefutable fact from all those years of dead prectice and indoctrination. That thing was this" God is real, and He does expect SOMETHING of us in SOME kind of relationship." The rest was a thick of fog. From Lindsay's book I took away only one thing (the precise number of US military Cobra helicopters what would come down from the Euphrates Valley and go to somewhere and thump on someone were amusing. but insignificant Flash Gordon stuff. Entertainng but not helpful. The thing I DID take way was this: there IS a war, a worldwide one. God is one side, some other nsty guy the other. I was NOT on the right side. SO.. thanks Hel, all your otherwise wasted words DID identify the root problem for me, but provided no solutiojn.

He has twice since then proven himself a false prophet, and tus worthy or sound rejection. I guess some folks still read his printed fairy tales. Sad.... but God did use his book as a major waypoint on my own journey.

Hi Angela! Here is an AP article stating this is a fabrication: https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-microsoft-disable-computers-non-mainstream-264451828591.

IMHO, it seems unlikely that Microsoft would do something so egregious - shareholders would not be happy. It would also be difficult to pull this off from a legal standpoint — the legal risk being violation of privacy laws and potentially a EULA breach of contract. It certainly wouldn’t go over well in the EU, or even California, for that matter.

Technically, MSFT could easily track your queries, but only for content processed using the MSFT search engine Bing. Any queries you send to Bing *can* be warehoused by MSFT. Even then, the only thing MSFT could do to “disable” your computer would likely amount to revoking your Windows license, and unless the EULA states this is OK, they can’t revoke your license. And they certainly cannot delete your data.

That said, if you use a non-Edge browser and a different search engine, you would be bound by their manufacturer EULAs, and Microsoft wouldn’t have access to regular browser data you send over HTTPS that isn’t destined for a Microsoft owned domain like microsoft.com.

Personally, I use a Mac with Brave browser and DuckDuckGo search engine. I also use a VPN on my computer as an extra layer of protection. 😉

Hi Nikki! For fun, I copied the Windows 10 EULA from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Useterms/Retail/Windows/10/UseTerms_Retail_Windows_10_English.htm and fed it into ChatGPT, which provided a concise bullet list of key clauses followed by this answer to my question:

“Notably, the EULA focuses on the legal use of the software, compliance with licensing terms, and protection of intellectual property. It does not specifically mention revoking licenses due to spreading misinformation or disinformation online. The license can be revoked or the software can be disabled primarily for reasons related to unauthorized use, failure to comply with the licensing terms, or attempting to circumvent the software’s technical protections. This summary addresses the main points of the EULA, but it’s always best to consult the full document for comprehensive details.”

Microsoft cannot technically or legally disable your computer; that in itself is a red flag. The closest they can get is OS license revocation, which only bars the user from running that particular licensed copy of Windows on that computer. The computer still boots and works. You just replace the OS and you are good to go.

Think about the legal ramifications of a large international corporation doing this. That, too, is a red flag. A bigger red flag is that Bill Gates is no longer running the company, as inferred in the allegedly fake post. I suspect that the fabrication is just another scare tactic, similar to pro-vax pandemic posts about killing grandma, etc. 😛

John K., just read John Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion, Book IV, Chapter XX (On Civil Government), section XXXII, which says (paraphrasing), we need only follow those leaders until they demand something that goes against what God says in His Word, in which case it is our duty to disobey. The pastors of our pre-Revolutionary and Revolutionary periods expounded quite a bit on this notion, and in fact as a group went by the nickname The Black-Robed Regiment, for the effect they had in leading to the Godly disobedience of the British government. There are whole books of their sermons, some of which can also be found online. This is also interesting related history:

It’s still golden, John K. The only legitimate governing authority in the US is the American people whose God-given Constitutional right is self-rule. In that light, I read Romans 13 – v5 as a warning to our deep-state types: “If you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.” My conscience answers to Jesus Christ, not to any compromised House or Senate, senile and corrupt president, or greedy corporate cabal.

Now do we all see why they fear Trump so much? He is the RESULT of "domestic populism." Love him or hate him or just support him because he is the embodiment of American populism, he is our weapon against these elites who would rule us.

EVERYONE else is beholding to the establishment and Trump is the only one who has his own money and can tell the moneyed elites to pound sand. Not even DeSantis has that kind of independent ability.

I imagine that, in his rise from a boroughs player to big time Manhattan and World player, Trump made some friends along the way. And they way, earned their respect.

This is an educated guess based upon Trump being a very, very smart and discerning person. That Trump has the ability to sort out who are 'the strong hands' and who are 'the weak hands' and to place his bets accordingly in the game of life.

As to the 'strong hands' and 'weak hands' allusion, this is market jargon. Smart players are always aware of this delineation. Smart players always gravitate to strong positions, positioning. In the world of illusions, where this delineation falls is not always apparent.

Whatever I may think of Trump, I do think that he genuinely like people and that he has a love for American. Maybe not as I would prefer, but I think it is there. How he ran his organization tell me this. Also, he is a risk-taker uncommon and possesses courage uncommon. Trump has put everything on the line ... and I have to respect that.

Phil ... I used to think this. And yes, money enough confers a large dose of independence. But this too is an illusion. There are limits earthly to everything. And everyone with deep, deep pockets knows that they have to have 'backers' in order to have safety in holdings. Trump knows this. You can bet the bank on it.

As you know, a lot of what I opine is just that ... opinion. But I bet that Trump, with all the difficulties, already knows 'the likely' outcome of all of this contemporary 'acting out' now going on. And when all the 'acting out' runs its course, Trump holdings will be safe and secure. And although I cannot say for sure, never for sure, I bet the end of the year is apt to look a lot different from the beginning. Maybe for the big money like Trump (and not so big compared to the unseen holdings of the trillionaires).

What the Apex Elite want more than anything else is long term multi-generational security of their holdings. To achieve this end, they have to preserve power by control. And to all this effect, the world is as Shakespeare stated ... "a stage." Some of us are actors, most though ... are the audience.

Correct qualifiers. There is a limit to "independent money" and obviously, Trump is a limited individual. I did think to caveat what I wrote but I was already long winded and it seems one can never be exhaustive. Everything must be viewed with caveats in the background. I can only hope that the Trump flower will bloom long enough to change the downhill course we are on to Marxist oblivion or at least act as a rear-ward defense.

And I keep ending up looking at the multiple million-man recruitment the Marxist globalists have accomplished across our southern border and I do not see how this ends without bloodshed.

I don't know absolutely. But I have already said many times that DJT did not come down that escalator and get up on that Big Debate Stage in 2016 all by his lonesome, just one day The Light shown into Trump Towers and DJT know what is Lone Ranger Mission was. And at the time, that was all I had to gone as to The Real Donald Trump.

I don't know what DJT is absolutely, or maybe not close. But the people in his organization stand by him, uncommonly so. So many stories there, and also from people who met him and had dealings with him. This can't be all wrong. And yet, many of the criticisms are valid ... even tarnish.

I suppose things could end with a multi-million man deportation movement. In the back of my head I keep thinking, what happens is the economy/stock market crash an unemployment is in the millions upon millions and then add some more. And given Jerome Powell's clear statement that the deficits are in his words 'unsustainable'. Okay! I don't really know. But this is uncharted waters. The only thing I know as sure as DJT, the escalator and debate stage is that the Apex Elite have been scared out of their wits and are now in 'save the skin' mode. This is the only way a worm like Milei comes out of the woodwork, and at the wave of a wand, ends up out of the blue winning the race in Argentina, promptly dollarizes Argentine, glad hands with the IMF ... AND THEN ends up a both Wall Street and Davos. My only question left with Milei is ... did Milei land at Davos in a private jet, or did have to fly first class or coach to Geneva on commercial? My bet is private jet!

My best guess is that we are going to get something SOLD to us, looking like what we want ... but is now. Isn't that what usually happens?

I wish I still had a TwiX account. Does Benz include nazi connections? The nazis that were brought here after WWII, that infiltrated the State Department and the CIA? Including the evil Bush family.

Expand full comment

I don't recall seeing that but it wouldn't surprise me if he did.

One fascinating thing I learned from him was the competing factions in the CIA known as the Yankees (Ivy League Atlanticist foreign policy types) and the Cowboys (western based oil interests and defense contractors). These two factions go back to the fifties were often opposed as served as a counterbalance, keeping CIA power checked. However, they both saw Trump as such a threat that they joined forces which is why the Deep State is now so powerful. It's why you now see Obama foreign policy types (Yankees) and Cheney/Bush types (Cowboys) on the same side.

I did want to expound on my Shapiro comment. Shapiro acts as an unregistered agent of a foreign government IMO as he's made no secret Israel comes first. It's why all these Jewish neocons (Shapiro, Podhoretz, Charen, Kristol, etc.) all hate Trump even though he's a strong supporter of Israel. "America First" means Israel comes second. That's not good enough for these people as Israel must come first even if doing so harms America. They are quite open about this as Pat Buchanan pointed out thirty years ago.

I've found most people with a strong emotional attachment to Israel cannot view world events objectively, and don't act in the best interests of the US. As such, I tend to ignore what they say as I know it's emotional manipulation and not a reasoned argument. There are some with Jewish roots that are objective though, such as Mike Benz and Darren Beatty. They deserve our attention and encouragement.

IMO Shapiro is bought and paid for, an all-in neocon, which IMO means big gov't leftist. As best I can tell, he's a useful idiot for the Deep State. From where I sit, big government = leftism no matter the cultural leanings. (Yet another trick of our deep state: getting people to believe that policies that raise taxes/create inflation and expand the government are somehow "conservative" b/c they "support Israel" or "stick it to the libs.") So, from that lens, it's not surprising to me that he would back an authoritarian, big gov't, military program like the mRNA shots. I am in agreement, but there is more to the story than oil or Eastern Establishment delineations. There appears to be a Supra-Agency which appears to know where all the chess pieces are and just what levers have to be pulled and how far in order reassert control over an apparatus (Collective West) which has manifestly to the entire world gone berserk. I sense and see reversal, an over-arching quest to regain control and sanity, but how this is to play out is very much ongoing drama.

I agree that this thing of Israel is a huge stumbling block. But I will say the Israel Emperor for the first time in my memory has been exposed in his naked without cloths glory. And it is not a pretty sight. (Will the Idiot Church Pastorate ever get this score right? One wonders?)

Expand full comment

Completely agree there is more to the story Dave, the Yankee and Cowboy thing was an explanation of the traditional rift in the Intelligence Community and it doesn't explain everything. What's interesting is that they both hate Trump so much they buried the hatchet after nearly seventy years.

The thing Benz really dwells on (which I think is right on the money) is that the elite have redefined "Democracy" to mean rule by institutions rather than rule by the people. In their mind these institutions that came about after WW2 (NATO, EU, IMF, etc.) are what promoted democracy. Now that people are getting fed up with them, the people deciding they no longer want them is "undemocratic". It's completely laughable, as it redefines democracy to mean subverting the will of the people. But that's their story and they are sticking too it.

Clearly Israel plays a huge part in all of this. IMO, one big reason Putin is so hated is that he doesn't give Israel deference but just treats it like any other country (as we should also). Also agree that Netanyahu's days are numbered, but I doubt what we get will be much better. There is a very broad streak of Jewish Supremacy right now in Israel as they have been whipped into a frenzy. What has changed is the rest of the world, and a huge part of the US, is getting really tired of this crap.

Expand full comment

Whipped into a frenzy, you say? Now what could have done that, I wonder.

Expand full comment

I've never followed Shapiro but know of him. Chris Paul, on his podcast, always makes fun of him. Shapiro is a neocon shill for the deep state, imho, and gets paid BIG bucks for it. Has he acknowledged that Trump won in 2020 and the election was rigged? Or does he say, like all the UniParty traitors, "time to move on". No. it's time to fix the voter fraud and eliminate these corrupt politicians who have installed themselves.

Expand full comment

That adds another element to understanding why this whole Trump situation has felt so different. And makes a lot of sense. We also need figure out how the UK fits into this. Clearly they have been playing a central role. My guess is that they are aligned with the Yankee/WEF side/EU.

We just found out that, yes, the Five Eyes nations DID collude to spy on the Trump campaign, and his admin, and participated in the attempts to frame him with the Russia hoax. That means there was foreign involvement in the overthrow of the President, which also means Trump had every right to claim America was attacked by enemies, domestic AND foreign. I'm sorry I clicked the link, should have known better.

Emotional manipulation from the anti-Jewish side (which is what that post was) is no better than being manipulated by the pro-Jewish side. Maybe we can actually use critical thinking here without succumbing to every demagogue out there?

One can make the argument that Israel's interests aren't aligned with US interests without trotting out every "Jews are evil" stereotype. And even if it's all true (I'm not saying that but making an argument) what does that say about us for having fallen for it? We must be a pretty stupid lot and frankly deserve to be lorded over.

People who are powerless and without accomplishment love to blame some invisible enemy as it removes the responsibility for their own lack of success. Plenty of us have done just fine and don't need to find some nefarious enemy to blame. What we are doing though, is trying to understand why actions that are so obviously contrary to US interests are being promoted. I can explain Shapiro's duplicitousness with resorting to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

It's this kind of stuff that gives the censorship zealots ammunition.

I'm just going to take this moment to point out that pretty much everything Trump ever said that was supposedly "misinformation" has now been confirmed as true. In fact, he understated the depth of the problem.

- There is a Deep State and it does have its sights set on the American public ("They are after you and I am just in their way.")

- There is a "swamp" and it's destroyed America for its own financial gain.

- Those two elements (the deep state and swamp) spied on his campaign in 2016 and tried to undermine his bid for President. IOW, they really are afraid of him.

- They rigged the 2020 election and effectively stole it from the public using the warfare tools of intelligence agencies on the American voting public. Essentially, they declared war on American voters and attacked us.

- The border was not secure; it was intentionally left open.

- The media lies (this one is even worse than he said b/c as we now know, the media isn't the media at all; it's just a wing of the federal gov't).

- A whole bunch of others: Climate change is a hoax; Covid would be a mild virus with an IFR below 1%; Masks don't work and we shouldn't wear them; etc...

Just my humble observations.......

Russia: a post-"Marxist tyranny" and of all western cultures, probably one of the most sincerely Christian. As a society, they are now in a "young" phase and having finally been freed of the Bolshevik tyranny, are looking for a better way.

China: a straight up dictatorship of thugs. They aren't even Communist anymore except as salad dressing. For them the clock is ticking on a reckoning.

USA: Most difficult for me to see because I live here. An Apex Empire trying to figure out exactly how it is going to collapse as the empire has reached that point where it can no longer be sustained. Will it fizzle out like the British Commonwealth Empire or implode like the Soviet Empire or go up in flames like the Roman Empire? As a society, America is a post-Christian, post-liberty affirming society whose culture is going through an identity crisis which may take an entire generation to figure out.

The society is in the process of becoming dictatorial based on Marxist ideology and dialectic. Like parasites, once entrenched, Marxists do not let go. But there several unique characteristics of America that defy historical comparison. 1) America has a large population that is heavily armed and this population still has a deeply inherited grain of independence. Never has Marxism attempted to subjugate a population as heavily armed as are Americans. 2) A corollary is the fact that the American people are spread out over an entire continent. 3) A third corollary is the fact that political power is spread out over many separate jurisdictions creating a kind of anti-tyranny political immune system. This is also unique in modern history. (OT Israel prior to King David is also an example though not modern.) Right now, the body politic is running a dangerously high fever and the outcome is uncertain.

If you were a Martian trying to figure out which society would be best to set up residence in, which would you pick?

Expand full comment

One one level ... no difference.

But there are shades of difference ... very different colorations. China and the USA are pretty close as to total surveillance and Mao-ist social control mechanisms (social scoring, DEI-like divisions and so on). In the USA, one can still dissent ... much more so than in China. Both are totalitarian regimes. Roll back in the US seems possible, likely and even necessary for maintenance of political control, and we will know much more by the end of 2024. There is widespread unspoken discontent in China at totalitarian CCP control, and the CCP will have to either change or someday disappear. And China's behavior during C19 did not help matters. Also, both China and the USA have a huge debt problem. Both China and the USA have severely misallocated capital. The main difference is that China has spare capacity to fall back on, like what the US once had ahead of the Great Depression. How this all plays out remains to be seen. I don't begin to dare to make predictions, but I am aware of the differences in various capacities, including industrial.

Also, the US says it 8,000 tons of gold. China says it has around 2,300 tons, but there are estimates that the real figure is closer to 30,000 to as high as 45,000 tons off balance sheet. I've heard this from people who have spent their lifetime in precious metals trading. The US gold has not been audited for decades and so if is it really there is not is largely indeterminate. And if it is there, has it been hypothecated, lent out ... other claims on it? Russia also is believed to have much more gold tonage than the around 2,300 to 3,000 tons estimated. Who knows for sure, but this may well be an important item going forward.

The best run economy of the three and of the world is Russia with minimal debt load, large gold reserves and a stable well managed currency ... and also with the world largest commodities resource base. Dissent is tolerated within limits. Wild eyed Woke is not tolerated at all. And although pinning things down precisely is not possible, the regime operates by consensus and is more authoritarian than totalitarian. The social and moral cement is the Russian Orthodox Church and respect for Rodina, the Motherland and its rich history. Westerners who travel to, live in Russia report that they are in no hurray to leave and quite a few work to get Russian citizenship. Big cities in Russia are clean, safe and low to no crime. It kind of reminds me of mid-20th century USA but more modern ... at least in the new city Moscow. Of the three, Russia is a more 'normal' a society ... more like what we had here in the 1950's before all began to go to hell after the Kennedy assassination.

I use the Yandex browser as one of my browsers. I sometimes use the Yandex search engine and it's an eye-opener. Maybe no place is totally ideal, but Russian Internet is pretty well-developed. And still, many Russians use the American Internet all the time. I watch Russian films. I read the comments and there a lot of comments in Russian.

One thing about Russia. It's not the same as under the Soviets. Nor is it the living hell of the 1990's or so post the Soviet collapse. And remarkably different today. Living in Russia today, one does not worry about bare food shelves or the energy grid being turned off in the middle of winter and freezing to death. Society is stable.

We in America are far more risk from destabilization that Russia. Russia has already paid the price and does not want to go back to all of that. Hopefully what I call the Pivot will keep on humming along and we will be spared the worst. But I don't count on it. I just cannot discount a financial collapse, even worst than 1929. I wish I could. But I can't.

Okay! Not a perfect answer. But it comes with large does of truth. And yes, no one has a crystal ball.

Dave, I am appreciative of you comments today. I love the way you have of putting things in context. You have connected the dots quite well in regard to Milei, Trump and the Apex Elite in this comment and the one you posted above. When I previously saw some of your comments about the Apex Elite, you opened my eyes and I began to notice these things myself. I believe your observation about the Apex Elite pivoting because they are scared out of their wits has a lot of evidence. They don't control the BRICS and that appears to be a surprise challenge threatening to topple their banking system that arose in response to their actions - one of the factors anyway. The objective of imposing trans-humanism on the entire human race via the bio-weapon psyops failed. They were only able to capture parts of Europe, AUS, NZ, Japan, Canada and the US. But the US is in doubt and without the US, their entire plan fails. They have to consolidate their control of the US or they lose it all. It won't work without us. I have already commented on the challenges the US poses to them.

In the end, I always come back to the observation that once the fraud is no longer believed by the American people then all they are left with is bare force, which is to say violence. We may be at a turning point or a watershed. But no crystal ball here.

When I used to trade, and every once and awhile ... I had the sense of The Elephant entering the room. One could not 'see it' optically other than in price movements. In this way I developed a sensitivity to the movement of 'forces'. This is sort of how I see the Apex Elite and/or Apex Money elite, look for vectors which persist in time by coherent patterns seen as validated by the procession of events.

I now think that the Apex Power Center (Apex Money, etc.) saw all of this out of control stuff coming years ago, and I think that alternative preparation for a rainy day were in the works for a very long time coming. I think that these people at the very top are not infallible, and

even sometimes get things in near time very wrong. Longer term, these people can be very wrong-footed ... and yet since their 'fleece the people' model worked so well, they just kept it going. I think the money part was broken by the 1990's and maybe some were horrified (for example) at the Long Term Capital Management failure, etc. ... and yet the supertankers goes on for a long time, even with the engines cut. What I am suggesting with this paragraph is that mentally, one has to have very long time/history horizons order to figure a lot of this stuff out. And even then it dang hard to nigh impossible at times so see things. Sometimes is like being in a car driving along, and then all of sudden a white rain downpour comes along, and one can barely see five feet of road in front of the car. And things are so hairy that one doesn't even dare risk taking a peek in the rear view mirror.

I sure don't have everything figured out to a tee ... and far from it. And maybe this is the beginning of wisdom ... caution (and in addition to fear of God). BUT as to how thinks work, I have to believe they are 'all in on it' only when it suits them to be. As far as BRICS Plus goes. I think its real simple. They are not all in on it from the BRICS point of view simply because nobody like to be beat up ... and especially, nobody like being beaten up all the time. Simply said, the Collective West went too far and is paying the freight now. I do know that the Fed said don't weaponize SWIFT ... and the Child Idiot Prodigies on the Potomac went ahead and did it anyway. That was the last straw. And I think 'they' at the top saw the possibility coming ... and long ago. But after weaponizing SWIFT (and everything else, now the die is cast ... and we are now hearing unmistakable voices like Tucker Carlson all of a sudden getting high profile attention. And in ways never heard before ... and I don't believe that this is just happenstance, a happy turn of the roulette wheel. And I'll stop here. It is obvious to me that the loose cannons on the deck of the ship of state have to be secured, tied down. And that is a process which we seem to be seeing now. Given this, let's see how this Ukraine funding thing works out. And more clues here to come.

I think you hit it right. 'They' have to consolidate in order to maintain control. Their highest aim (once again) is to preserve the multi-generational transfer of wealth. Yes, things do change, morph over time. But the thing that does not change is the need to transfer wealth over generations. Do that, do whatever it takes to do that, then wealth and power is preserved through control. (Can the Apex of the Pyramid pull it off. Maybe. Maybe the deck is stacked enough that they can. They surely will try ... and after that, time tells.)

Interesting. You seem to have the same view I do that the illegitimate regime in DC is out of control and a threat to the apex power structure if for no other reason than the fact that their monetary policies of printing unimaginable quantities of dollars is threatening to topple the entire western world dollar based banking system. This can't be allowed to continue. On top of that, their Marxist dialectic is fracturing the cultural consensus of the American people to the point that will eventually cause social chaos. On this point, I am beginning to view Trump as the focal point for terminating their cultural and financial insanity. This makes me consider that perhaps Trump is the apex elite's point man for effecting this pivot. (I am appalled at the gullibility of the US intellectual elites adoption of Modern Monetary Theory. Seems Marxism always has it's intellectual fools.) So the Apex elite repackage their control as MAGA and the American public buys off on it. The caveat, of course, is that the Marxists in DC will not go willingly now that they think they have taken total control. Their hubristic arrogance will accept no restraint. And arrogance always makes one stupid.

This is no criticism of Trump. Your observations on his personality and history are spot on and admirable. I picture Trump's first term as POTUS as a rodeo bull rider drawing the baddest bull of the lot without a bit in the bull's mouth. (And conservatives criticize Trump for not being able to control the beast.) IF he gets a second term, I picture him as matador trying his best to slay the bull without himself getting gored. The one thing I am sure of is that the Marxists sociopaths in DC are very much afraid of the razor steel of Trump's blade should he come back into power. Their fear is nearly palatable. This again brings me to what I view as the most concerning aspect of their malevolent arrogance: the opening of America's border to a massive invasion which they are using as a means of recruiting a lethal force of men for the purpose of organizing an extra-Constitutional army whose only allegiance will be to the cabal that pays them. I have reason to believe that the regime has set up several secret bases in remote locations in the interior of the US for the purpose of training a two-million-plus man army made up of these undocumented military age men. The most concerning aspect of this recruitment are the segregated groups of military age Chinese nationals who are coming into the US. These groups of Chinese men are kept segregated even in the transport phase of the migration beginning at the Darien Gap in Panama. The potential here is obvious.

The first big mistake in political analysis is reductionism. That is, one must recognize and take account that the domino pieces in the Grand Game are not black pieces with tiny dots on them. They more often are mottled pieces with many different colored dots. And the pieces don't just lie flat on the Grand Playing Table. They are placed together every which way, sometimes baffling and making no sense. Another Big Mistake is to believe that the Apex Elite super smart, perfect in control, all seeing beings (even though they are pretty darn smart and/or clever and plan over protracted time). And the third big mistake is to think one ever can get this all straight, nice and neat, orderly mind-fashion.

Trump is very, very complex ... not all bad, not all good. Not a super-hero or whatever folks like to make out to be, and very often do with absolute certitude in their own minds. This said, it sure does look like DJT is the Save Your Skin Apex Banker political key piece. MAGA is the Low End Sell. Milei at Davos is the High End Sell.

If you look at Central Banks and Fantasy Money, it is Scripturally speaking anathema because it violates in some way or another ... ALL of the Ten Commandments. Most people don't look at this directly as being the problem ... and that gives birth to endless mental confusion. It is very simple. Violation of the Law, in particular violation of God's Law, foments chaos and destruction ... and a destroying of worlds (like Western Civilization). This should be as plain as the nose on a face, but lamentably is not.

"To defeat an enemy, the first thing you need to know is: who is the enemy? And where are they?"

Bingo! But I think more than that, you have to be VERY clear on what the battle is. What are you trying to achieve? For example, it can't be something as vast and subjective as "freedom". It's more like this: I want freedom to remain unjabbed and have access to everything the jabbed do (and much more, but this is one example).

I think we also have to be willing to understand our own limits and what we are willing to sacrifice to obtain victory in our battle. I'm not saying do it, I'm saying know what it is. Can we live with the price? Can we live with ourselves if we choose to do nothing? It's ok for some to do nothing, I think, as I can't judge what everyone else's personal price may be. I think each one of us has to make our own choices and each one of us has a different threshold of what we are willing to lose. I was willing to stand up to family and friends about the scamdemic and that cost me life long relationships, several people to death without reconciling with them, and a loss of anything I had resembling a reputation. Was it worth it? I still ask myself sometimes but know I couldn't live with myself being a sheep.

I think we are being so bombarded with so much cr*p - still the scamdemic, idiots in DC and elsewhere, DIE, kids getting parts whacked off, border invasions, foriegn country stuff, climate BS, friends and family and coworkers sick or dying or dead, etc. etc. etc. It's hard to pick your battles when there is so much going on at once. I'm sure the engineers of all of this nonsense know that and that is precicsely why we are being slammed all at once.

Bear with me: there is a point here - I had a dream last night. I wanted to go home, just like I have every single day since losing my home over 18 years ago. In the dream, I got to finally go home. I was overjoyed. An Iranian man was there (I think the key there was he was foreign, meaning I had to be open to foreign ideas), and he told me I had to accept that things were different now. My trees were long gone. The new owners had destroyed my kitchen. Things would never be the same again, so I could not return to the home (or feeling of home) I had once had. If I wanted to be "home" (which is a feeling, not a place), then I had to rebuild new. There was a huge wooden table in the dream and he said I had to make room for new people to sit down. I think the whole point here was that whatever life we had before the scamdemic is never coming back and that we have to rebuild. But I am not talking about a "new normal"... scr*w that. I'm talking about recreating on our own terms. No one out there can take away our determination. No one.

Yes! I keep thinking that at some time, to really overthrow the globalist’s NWO, we the citizens will have to create our own society and system apart from theirs - in particular, the banking system that they use to control the world.

That’s good. When I think of the home I grew up in and its environs, it no longer exists. Truly none of us can ever go home again.

From my Pentecostal Christian childhood I absorbed the knowledge that this life is just temporary; we are pilgrims and sojourners here in this world. And we are alien; enemies to this world. The only true permanence and real home of belonging lies beyond the veil in the world to come. That helps with enduring and adapting to the inevitable changes that come. Sold my childhood home last autumn as executor of mom's estate. When I locked the door for the last time, I texted to my siblings: "One door closes, another door opens. I wonder what it will look like inside that new door"

Drove by the neighborhood yesterday, but chose to not go by the house despite my intention to do so. The past is past. Time to let go.

I think this happens for most people every 7-10 yrs. Something in life occurs that reorders priorities, principles, and relationships. I think it's just the way of things.

We've had a lot of those in the past 7 yrs, which is why it's probably overwhelming. But time will help to smooth it out, and many of the doors will open to a better home.

Yes. Coming out of the plandemic alive (but after losing my 18 year high paying job for refusing the jab) I believe that bodily autonomy is the civil rights issue of our time.

The very fact that we have to submit an exemption REQUEST to plea for the right not to be fired from our jobs…. think about that. It means each of us individually has to petition our government or employer for PERMISSION not to allow them to have free access to our bodies for whatever reason: population control (forced sterilization, mandatory abortions, etc.); mass experimentation; genocide / euthanasia. Begging some HR functionary that our religious views are sincere.

This is and must soon be recognized as the civil rights issue of our time.

I have been so sad for so long over the loss of my former home and nearly everyone to the scamdemic that I have become apathetic and just ready to pass on so I can be with those I love again. (That does not mean self harm.) His message, I think, was if I wanted my feeling of home back again, I couldn't look to the ones who had died. I couldn't look to old friends who I parted ways with. I couldn't keep trying to make the house I've lived in for 17 years my home. It isn't. It never will be. I don't know, I'm still milling the whole thing over. Let's not leave out all the criminals in DC and many cities and states. The list of criminals just keeps growing, especially in elected offices now that no one seems to care what they do!!!!

Expand full comment

Why doesn'tTrump just give her $1.5 million and buy her off? She is cheap and easily bought. (Inam not literallyadvocating this).

Expand full comment

Oh, the Deep State is offering her far more than that! Plus she’s sticking it to the man, good and proper, which is quite the power trip.

Expand full comment

Every black woman in America ought to rise up and tell Fani to STFU. Fani's mouth and personal behavior are gasoline fueling the fire of racist stereotypes.

Expand full comment

It's been a multigenerational grift and we're seeing the logical outcome of that. The biggest irony is that in her case, it actually is literally multigenerational. Her father is an affirmative action, DEI, race-baiting grifter as well! Ha! Both of them complaining about the country that literally ended slavery (against the wishes of the black warlords in Africa) and which is the only country in world history to ever vote a member of a minority group as leader. And which made them both wealthy. You really can't make this stuff up. (Also, Einstein was right: there are no limits to human stupidity.)

Expand full comment

I don't think it's that far fetched, if people keep telling you that all institutions are racist why wouldn't you keep cash? A lot of black Americans rejected vaccinations because they distrust the government / white people.

But it should be easy for Fani Willis to prove that she kept significant sums of cash since she would have to regularly withdraw cash from her bank account.

Expand full comment

Except, from what I understand, she didn’t have any records of withdrawing cash from her bank account. That’s part of the problem for her.

Expand full comment

She testified that she would get cash at the supermarket checkout - this is a more difficult thing to trace.

Expand full comment

The store would definitely have a record of that, but yeah that makes it more difficult to trace. It's also a pattern called smurfing, making many small withdrawals instead of large ones, banks are required to monitor for something like that since it's unusual.

Expand full comment

That’s limited to $50 at Publix unless you go through Customer Service and they approve a larger amount. I suppose she could have said I’m the one who’s killing Trump and I need $50,000.

She would need to use a bank debit card to withdraw the cash from.

Expand full comment

She don't use any of that cracker bank stuff. Fulton pays her in giant sacks of cash.

Expand full comment

She said she took cash from her campaign funds.

Expand full comment

And that's legal? Even for a Democrat??

Expand full comment

Nope....its illegal!!! All campaign funds, cash or otherwise, MUST be accounted for!!! But democrats can do what they want!!! The fact she said that shows how arrogant or ignorant she is....likely both!!! (arrogant ignorance) She can't even separate any of it proving she has no intention of following any laws!!!!

Expand full comment

If you’re black it is.

Expand full comment

Exactly. This isn’t going to help black-on-black crime. The Fani Willis story is just proving how racist and stupid these people are in government. There’s a saying -If you can’t get or keep a job, get elected and then re-elected.

Expand full comment

I don't think it was stupid. It was a clever legal maneuver. She had to say that she paid Nathan Wade back in some way, otherwise it would prove that she overpaid Wade to get the benefits of this excess of taxpayer funding. She actually didn't pay him back and therefore she had no paper proof of writing him a check, or using a credit card, or transferring money from her bank accounts. So, how to explain this? By saying she used cash. Untraceable, fungible cash. And to make it seem reasonable that she would keep thousands of dollars of cash on hand, she said it's a "black thing". And it is. It's also a poor thing (they are the unbanked) and an immigrant thing. This isn't some big secret. I'm first generation USA born, grew up surrounded by immigrants AND black people (really, I didn't know very many multigenerational white people until I moved away for grad school) and EVERYONE stashed cash. We spent weeks finding cash hidden here and there in my grandparent's home after they passed. Home invasions ARE an issue because of this, elderly Asians are especially targeted. https://abc7news.com/sf-burglary-caught-on-camera-immigrants-life-savings-stolen-couple/6331666/ https://abc7news.com/home-robberies-oakland-armed-robbery-hills-asian-american-violence-elderly-couple-robbed/13600750/ etc etc

But lets not remind the criminals and shout it from the roof top (from two criminals testifying about their corruption) that many people keep cash at home. Honestly they took everyone for being truly ignorant to what she did and she should be immediately removed for theft in office and the lies she's presented against Trump. She is not fit to be in that position and is as criminal as you get. I just wouldn't advertise it!!!! But the cats out of the bag and in democrat cities where all these people are plagued with gangs and many criminals because they were never raised responsibly or to respect anyone and that they are due all these things just because they are black. I am pretty sick of it. My grandfather was an immigrant and they worked their whole lives expecting nothing. Where they lived at the time was peaceful and had many minorities, immigrants and just good ole white folks who worked and lived in these neighborhoods without prejudice. Then the sixties riots came and after that it was a free for all with the blacks attacking the very people that were their friends and neighbors for years. Plus my grandparents and other immigrants had small grocery stores and no one ever went hungry if their dead beat black parents (didn't see it with the whites or other minorities) were too drunk to feed their kids. Well my grandparents and the others did feed their kids and they NEVER expected anything in return. Once the riots came, these good people were attacked and burned out. My grandparents were held up and tied up executionary style by black men, six black men tried to kill my dad, but he escaped; blacks dumped a gasoline soaked mattress in front of his car for no reason of the highway....yep great people that you want living right next to you. NOT! We saved their store and had to close it!!!! So who lost and who gained? No one!!!! I could go on and on. And then the ignorant people voted Ovomit in for that hope and change and to transform our country into an illegal and lawless abyss. Now he's in his third term with braindead Obiden and he's hoping for the fourth time!!!!! Just wait till all the illegals and chinese nationals get their footing and their free arms from the illegal government we have now and those people in the cities had better get ready for the onslaught of crime and they will come looking for their cash, especially now that its front and center and being bragged about. They haven't seen anything yet.

Expand full comment

If her story is true, then her bank records reflect this. Easy to check out.

Expand full comment

I thought the exact same thing. Why would you advertise that?

Expand full comment

So are black people paid in fat stacks of cash for payroll? I mean... The more they talk, the worse it gets.🤣

There's a difference between keeping cash at home and ostensibly living off the banking grid as a DA, no less, who supposedly prosecuted people who live off the banking grid, knowing they typically do so for nefarious reasons.

Expand full comment

Exactly! Apparently this is how they operate! They admitted their corruption and they thought nothing of it!!! You know her dad lied about the graffiti being sprayed on their house. She isn’t fit to serve in any capacity like this, but this is the lawless Ovomit/Obiden America where black thugs rule in these roles and she is right among them! Just look at the corrupt DA in NY, corrupt judges, and many other people appointed just like them in all these democrat states.

Expand full comment

I’m concerned that this information will be used to drum up white support for CBDCs and curtailing cash.

Expand full comment

It’s liberals and corrupt democrats that support this crap! She was hiding her indiscretions with this guy and that is why she used cash so it couldnt be traced. Plus the democrat theme is they will never get prosecuted because so many states and our federal government are now corrupt, therefore she really thought she was going to get away with it!!

Expand full comment

She *didn't* use cash because she *didn't* pay him back!

Expand full comment

Exactly. She just said she did because it’s going to be hard to prove otherwise.

Expand full comment

for the cash story to hold up, we would have to believe she was both smart and circumspect, of which she is clearly neither .

In a sense we are. They are called railroads. Rails are the same width as the ruts in the Roman roads cut by the wheels of the chariots. All wheeled wagons had to follow suit to avoid breaking the axles in the ruts. The width of the wheels got passed all the way down to modern railroads.

How fitting that Black Panther communist daddy spends so much time in South Africa. There is an almost total blackout here about what has happened there in the past several decades. The white farm families are preyed upon continuously; their lives always at risk. There are constant threats and outcries about their lands being taken from them. Apparently the U.S. and I guess other Western countries will not accept them as immigrants, and they can’t flee the hell.

So any who want to jump on the Marxist bandwagon and accuse Israel of ‘genocide and apartheid’ and demand she vacate her land; beware. The U.S. has plenty of crazies and evil beings, who believe that what you have really belongs to them. They believe you are an oppressor and need to make reparations.

We’ve actually been paying reparations for many, many decades in the many forms of the welfare state, affirmative action, race based scholarships and grants, and so forth and so on.

But not every black person is rich as Oprah and so individuals need to be paid millions of dollars. If this seems far fetched, just look back at how far we’ve come, baby.
