Happy new year. I had a great 2022. I quit my high paying engineering job as only a religious exemption kept me from being fired. Plus all the wokecrap they were pulling was nauseating. Several of my colleagues didn’t do the exemption (on principle) and were fired. So ‘F’ my former company. They were a great place to work but everything woke turns to crap.
I’m not yet 60, but my 401K (Fidelity) allows for withdrawal at age 55 (instead of 59.5). Planning to start social security at 62. Our numbers assumed 8% return on 401K investments, and 3% inflation. Looked good so I quit. Then Brandon had to push his banker war against the East, so the my numbers are way off now. Our 30 years of money is down to 25. Not sure what we’ll do when we’re in our 70s. Not really worrying about that and we’re just going full blown retirement – traveling Florida and such. We’re visiting every spring in the state and also each major pier.
Very stoked about 2023 and ready to battle any BS coming from the covid commies. I really love this community and am glad we’re all staying strong.
Not sure what kind of engineer you are but there are many 'remote', computer/software engineering jobs available. I was in the same position as you, 50's, not getting jabbed and not willing to enrich woksters, and I am starting a new job tomorrow for more than I have ever gotten paid before, and I will be working from home in my slippers!
My oldest son, who is way too young to retire, did the same thing right after the lock downs. He is a programmer in the cloud and now works from home for Butcher Box. Left NYC and moved to Chattanooga.
We have friends from Soddy-Daisy and we actually owned a second home in the Hixson for a few years. Our first grandchild had been born and she was eight hours away, so we bought a foreclosure home and renovated it in order to spend time with family. Are you familiar with the "flying saucer" house near Signal Mountain?
That's encouraging Phil. The ability to move and live in far flung places sounds like it is going to be great perk for this type of work. Chattanooga sounds GREAT compared to NYC!
Congrats on the retirement. My hubby left a long time civil service GS9 position last January.
Well retired. (Just hit 60 at that point)
He was one of the last unjabbed standing and was sick of the push to go woke at the base. All those fun workshops to mandatorally take part in became never ending in 2021. He could write a book on what went on and what he witnessed.
Hope you enjoy your travels.
We got the Rv and go from place to place now
Will have to get over to Florida someday. Hubby was in the coast guard there for many years.
Our savings were never a sure thing anyway. My husband retired in 2005, at 54 years of age. We both began receiving Social Security as soon as we could, not knowing how long it would be solvent and hoping to get back a little of the fortune we paid in. We are in good shape financially, with no debt, although inflation has definitely had an impact. When considering purchases now, our mantra has become, "We may as well buy it, because the government's going to take our money anyway." I firmly believe that will happen at some point.
Anne, I believe we are going to see a Christian Reformation and our nation (and the world) will return to God, and being a God of abundance, prosperity is coming. I believe we don't need to worry.
My husband retired this past year also at age 57. Took our money out of the stock market years ago, bought some rental houses and lend money to people we know who are successful doing flips, making 12%. We traveled from our home 150 days and now both work part-time for a travel blogger. I'm glad to be a part of the CC community since only a few of our friends remain unvaxxed and sane!
Smart. The stock market is no better than a casino. Back in the day (before Federal Reserve inflation), investing in the stock market was considered gambling. Now everybody is at risk.
Hate to say it but IMO go back to work ASAP. Most companies are desperate for engineers now in particular those with good experience and a strong track record of accomplishment. Call your old boss about coming back as a contractor or possibly even being rehired. I'm an engineering manager and I'd bring you back in a heartbeat, we are that short-handed (I'm about your age also).
Things may not be the same in a year of two as the economy is seriously cratering. The opportunity to return at a big salary just might not be there.
I know you are enjoying yourself now but the last thing you want is to outlive your money. The idea that people retire early and then enjoy twenty years of driving around in a Winnebago is a new phenomena and frankly a bit crazy when you think about it. People used to pretty much always retire at 65 and unless they had really good genes die not too long afterwards. No one felt entitled to twenty "golden years". Work now while you are able to. Again, just my opinion.
Adding to this that when investment advisors talk about things like 8% return they don't mention that those are averages over the last hundred years. There are stretches where the return is zero or negative for prolonged stretches. Bad timing on one of those stretches can cripple you financially. Many forecaster are predicting that we are heading into one right now and the market may be flat for ten years. After the phenomenal growth we saw from 2008 to 2021, this seems right to me.
Plus assuming you have kids it's going to be rough for those getting started for the next decade (or longer). It would be nice to be able to help them out (buying a home for example) without threatening your own financial security. Plus you may want to leave them a nice chunk of change when you go.
Right now you are the most marketable and have the highest earning potential. Five or ten years down the road that very well might not be the case based on both the economy and perceptions that your knowledge is obsolete. Something to think about.
BTW, I'm in almost your exact same position (age, occupation, financial status, vax exemption). These are the reasons I'm still working.
Yes indeed! I have to agree - I just retired a year ago from the fed - 31 and done - ducked out the very day Sloppy Joe said he would jab every fed. DOUBLED my top end Fed salary! EVERYONE, needs engineers right now.....and as the jabbed die off or become disabled, it will become a golden career all a new. Many remote opportunities - I get several offers a month.
He said he got approved for a religious exemption but that people who refused to file for one got fired. Got tired of the BS and took early retirement.
Not talking about the original commenter here, but it's really strange that people refuse to exercise a constitutional and legislatively-protected right (under the CRA of 1964) and demand an exemption. How is it caving in to say, "my religion forbids this and I demand you accommodate that as required by law"? I found it empowering (to use a favorite word of the left).
A religious exemption IS a state grant, not a Right of Liberty. Strictly speaking, a religious exemption is 'a privilege' granted by the state 'to do what otherwise one cannot do.'
Liberty is dominion, sovereignty over the self which is obedient to God and His Laws ... and against which the state cannot infringe for lack of standing. If the state infringes upon the any of the Rights of Liberty, the state commits a trespass (infringes), an injury or harm against the one who exercised a Right or Rights of Liberty.
American Rights of Liberty ARE NOT civil rights. American Rights of Liberty (God-conferred) can only be recognized, affirmed and upheld by the state. Nor can a public or private corporation (artificial person and an appendage of the state) infringe upon Rights of Liberty. Thus outsourcing enforcement (mandates) by the state to private and/or so-called public companies is a ruse, and violators of the Rights of Liberty who bend to the states' illegal decrees are open to prosecution in Common Law. This is how it used to work before the state captured the entire justice system and made it is own.
Not true. Virtually all the case law that upheld religious accommodations in regard to employment draw directly from the Civil Rights Act of 1964, specifically it's prohibition on employment discrimination based on religious beliefs. The EEOC itself quotes this case law at length in it's advice to employers.
I think you are confusing state requirements on public health grounds (like vaxxes for school) with employer-based requirements. It's not the same thing and different laws apply.
Look you can make all kinds of fancy sounding speeches regarding liberty that sound great and get you no where. Bottom line is that employers fear losing lawsuits. The case law on the CRA is crystal clear and goes back decades, that's why it's effective. Companies know they will lose if they deny good-faith exemption requests. It may take years but it will happen.
Dave, you and I probably agree on about 98% of things politically. But there's philosophy that sounds great (but is ineffective) and there's legal strategy that works. They are not necessarily the same thing. Lofty speeches didn't get me my exemption, it was my company knowing I would sue them under the CRA if they denied it.
Not sure about that, since we have constitutional basic rights (the right to travel, the right to free speech, the right to religious expression, etc.). With regard to C19, an employee only has to notify their employer that he/she is invoking or exercising their religious exemption. There is no need to ask for it like a permission slip. Of consequence, any refusal to accept a religious exemption (RE) is a direct violation of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and sets up an employer for a lawsuit. Many of us have been very successful in communicating this legal trap to employers via religious exemptions, but you need to research exactly how it needs to be articulated. An employer may/can refuse to accommodate your RE, but again, that is at their legal peril if an employee has established their RE properly.
Exactly, this is why exemption requests under the CRA were and remain very effective. Employers are *required* to accommodate religious beliefs unless they impose an undue hardship on the employer. Period, end of story.
You don't need a note from Pope, to pass some sort of logic test, prove consistency in your beliefs, or even belong to an organized religion. If the employer thinks your request is in bad faith the burden is on them to prove it. In addition, the bar for "undue hardship" on the employer is quite high. There is decades of case law on this.
The problem as Seaquinn notes is that you need to know the law and make your request clearly within the bounds of the law. Quoting Patrick Henry and "don't tread on me" to HR won't work.
We went with the religious exemption, but my spouse's coworker believed the shots were dangerous, but that as a lapsed Catholic he couldn't claim a religious reason. So he caved and got the shots. Basically, the argument we wondered about was if we should be standing for people like him and saying, religious or otherwise, no one should be coerced to inject something harmful into their body. Again, we did decide on religious exemption, but we also felt we shouldn't even need to. So I get having different perspectives on this.
Congrats BFM! You know it will work out. Now that the military mandate is folding, other woke corporations will be rethinking their strategy. Especially when smart lawyers start the class action lawsuits.
He did think about going to his union but that’s a dead end!
Or maybe reach out to project veritas.
The discrimination aimed at him and the small group of non jabbed workers was awful.
He was always getting awards for his division and the men/women he managed. He took on so many jobs when they stalled to hire new people (when someone retires or leaves they just pass that extra work from that job onto one of the current workers. Great way to save $)
He was Always ready to jump in and do all he could to get things done and efficiently.
He seemed to go from a hero to a zero by March 2021
Office mates and friends turned away as he stood his ground.
He did submit a religious exemption but in a year no one got back to him. They never answered his submission.
Eventually as the jabbing of everyone rolled out he had many coworkers whispering to him about a side effect they had from their jabs. Some injured and one with a family member passing immediately.
He sought out his higher ups to let them know and ask “are you recording what your workers are telling me and probably you??Is someone higher up than you hearing about this?!”
🦗
And that’s just covid. The stories of favoritism, wasted monies, bad military spending and jobs that make no sense or made up jobs abound.
So
We sold the house
Drove away.
And now seek out remote quiet places to detox from it all
Sometimes you just sit and stare into the desert going over it all. Pondering what the hell happened.
I know he wonders if anything has changed at a place he worked his tail off at.
As he always did in all jobs.
Navy, Coast Gaurd and this place.
He is an excellent writer like no other
So maybe someday we will set up a little outdoor table so he can scribble it all down.
I will say, as we traveled last year we have met so many wonderful random people out there.
If we share stories his is always met with complete awe. Eventually others as well share their stories of discrimination, being cut out from their family, ghosted, bullied, censored or fired.
I can’t tell you how many we’ve heard.
Besides all the stories we have just met so many wonderful nice people out here in this country. Be it at a gas pump, 7-11, campground, laundramat or at a campfire in the desert.
It has restored my faith somewhat that not everyone is mean, evil or nasty. Good people still circulate amongst us and well..... I’m trying to keep that thought close by for 2023 as we push on...
you have a linknfor your firm please? i have a friend who needs an attorney to help with her husband's still constant harassmentnfor boy getting the jab. his union is useless. and the mandates are gone. but they want to punish still. thanks!
Callender was deluged by hundreds of thousands of requests for help from military members, so he put together a website with self-help information and templates. You can find them at:
I don't know what kind of engineer you are, but I know of a structural engineer who started his own home inspection LLC and will do both a home inspection and structural inspection at the same and he is making bank! I guess it depends on if you are well enough to be climbing up on ladders, roofs, and crawl spaces. We had him do a home inspection and his agreement is very thorough and protects him from liability if something is missed or inaccessible at the time of inspection.
This is great news and congratulations on your retirement and getting out of a company that sounds like a real downer place to work! It should be a fine time traveling around Florida there is a lot to see. Your young yet, the sky's the limit as they say.
Oh -- I just remembered there is a natural hot spring north of Benson on BLM land that is lovely in the winter....Hot Wells Dunes -- it was so beautiful sitting in there and looking at the stars....I remember it before it got improved even, when it was just basically dirt...
You can convert 401K to Gold bullion, not paper, and hold it in an approved vault until age 62 then take personal possession. Gold preserves wealth, silver can be used for commerce. The Feral Reserve Fiat Paper is almost ready to be used in the toilet. Just imho, of course.
The late Dr. Chin did commit suicide: Suicide By Boosters.
Jeff, I wish more bloggers would study your writing style and emulate it: Your posts are paragons of clarity, as well as great sources of actual facts. Thank you!
Jeff, did you know you were quoted extensively by Dr. Joseph Mercola today in his article The Twitter Files? I’ll attempt to post the link below. Great job!
Thanks for sharing this! Dr. Mercola has become an epic fighter joining the ranks of Jeff Childers and other warriors in this battle. Actually I believe Dr. Mercola has been fighting TPTB since way before covid. He’s had a very successful alternative practice which is a thorn in the side of Pharma and traditional medicine. My husband has jokingly said that Dr. Mercola was MY doctor. 😂
Yes, I do too. Have you noticed that his online store is no longer open? The last time I ordered some products, they were only available on Amazon. Very disappointing.
I've been following him since 2006 or so. I believe Mercola is a regular contributor to the Epoch Times as well. Nice combo! And with C&C, it's a very meaty and delicious trio!
He’s the GOAT 🐐 in the ‘you can manage this yourself’ arena. He’s been at this for as long as anyone could be. He is the reason I was not fearful of this virus. He provided detailed videos of how to use a nebulizer (something I’d never heard of before) with saline and very diluted hydrogen peroxide. I know for a fact his efforts saved 2 people I helped; one a 74 yo lifetime smoker and another middle aged woman who was discharged from the hospital and left to fail. She’s lucky it was before they subsidized venting and remdezivere. Both claim the remedy saved their lives. I told everyone about it and the sheeple in my crowd googled Dr Mercola and passed, and are now on their 5th jabs. Something about horses and water come to mind. He had a daily free Substack too if you’re interested.
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” — Jesus, in John 16:33
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. — 1 John 5:4
I have two missions for this year (unchanged from last year). One, to live out my faith by seeking to make disciples for Christ. Two, to live out my faith by standing against the current evil and injustice. People need to know how to face what is happening in the world now and, more importantly, they need to be prepared for eternity. "In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Romans 8:37
That is much the same resolve I have and I also have grown because of covid in my faith journey in ways I never anticipated. That “grit” has come to the forefront.
Our pastor talked yesterday of having the thing called grit, that we are not passing onto our children. The ability to persevere the tribulations we all will face and know we can have expectations for better because of what God has done for us. Grit has gotten generations through to the other side.
My mom, who was a woman of great Christian faith and who had an incredible brilliant mind of constant historical, spiritual and geopolitical research and curiousity, gave these last words to my daughter who just had a baby (the baby is her great grandchild): "make sure that you pray every day for her because she is going to live in a very evil world". Indeed. 😥May God have mercy on us all. 🙏
The bible condemns "pharmakeia" (in the original Greek) in several places but it is translated as "sorcery" rather than mind or body-altering drugs. If you google around you'll find plenty of "fact checks" insisting that pharmakeia has nothing to do with drugs. Uh huh.
"Pharmakeia" is obviously where we get the word PHARMACY, ya know, that place that hands out PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS? But I guess fact checkers know best! LOL!
When people start talking about the world our children will grow up in, I try to post this.
It was written by Alex Cravens, a pastor from Hope Christian Church, Arkansas. -
Don't feel sorry for your children/grandchildren because the world they will grow up in is not what it used to be.
Raise them up to know the power they walk in as children of God.
Train them up in the authority of His Word.
Teach them to walk in faith knowing God is in control.
Empower them to know they can change the world.
Don't teach them to be fearful and disheartened by the state of the world but hopeful they can do something about it.
Every person in all of history has been placed in the time that they were in because of God's sovereign plan.
He knew Daniel could handle the lion's den.
He knew David could handle Goliath.
He knew Ester could handle Haman.
He knew Peter could handle persecution.
He knows that your child can handle whatever challenge they face in their life. He created them specifically for it!
Don't be scared for your children/grand children. Be honored that God chose you to parent the generation that is facing the biggest challenges of our lifetimes. Rise up to the challenge!
Raise Daniels, Davids, Esthers and Peters!!
God isn't scratching His head wondering what He's gonna do with this mess of a world.
He has an army He's raising up to drive back the darkness and make Him known all around the world.
Don't let your fear steal the greatness God placed in them. I know it's hard for you to imagine them as anything but our sweet little babies, and we want to protect them from anything that could ever be hard on them, but they (as well as you) were born for a time such as this! (Ester 4:14)
I can't stomach this idiocy! Deploying Air Marshalls to heat sandwiches! Having the wife of our illegitimate president telling us AGAIN to take the covid vaccine! Lord, please deliver us from this insanity!
On the other hand, it's good to see some sanity in the fight against the LGBTQ/trans idiocy.
When I was younger our friends owned a bar/restaurant with an outdoor sporting theme. The bathrooms had hunting dogs on them and said “pointers” and “setters” I always had to ask my Mom which one I use. 😂 I never understood it. (I didn’t have any brothers.) It’s seriously that simple. Pointers and sitters.
Heck, I may have visited that bar! I remember this from somewhere - of course, visit enough taverns, you think you've seen it all. lol. (.....and likely have)
Hopefully, RINO McCarthy will not the be the speaker. We need a change, we know what RINO's do. Nothing but a COWARD with no spine and no testosterone. Lets geauxxx Steve Scalise, step up and lead!
It is imperative that McCarthy NOT be speaker. And whoever they get besides him better be well thought out. There are very few choices though. I’m not holding my breath that McCarthy will be thrown out. The rinos are powerful too. Ugh.
It wouldn't surprise me to see a number of Democrats to vote "present", which would take away the ability of the five holdouts to block McCarthy for Speaker...
From the url below: "As Glassman noted, there are some options for the members to break a long-lasting deadlock, including some members voting “present” to lower the number of votes needed for a majority."
Well of course! Why on earth would voting be cut and dry 🤦🏼♀️ when there are ways around making the votes count. 🙄 I just lost the last 1% of hope I had that Mcarthy wouldn’t be selected in. 😒
Tell me who the Speaker should be. Biggs got 31 votes. We need a Speaker TOMORROW! I am no fan of McCarthy, but provide an alternative who can get 218 votes!! The five congressmen may destroy what remains of the Republican party. That may be their goal. But to what end?
I don’t think there is one who can get the votes. But because they want McCarthy and we know his rino track record and spineless bought and paid for cowardice - I still don’t support him. There’s a reason the rinos want him. That tells me everything I need to know even though I know more than just that.
We the people are not going to get who we want. They are selecting him just like the elections are selections, not a true representation of what the people want. They all belong in jail.
That’s Sunnydaze’s whole point. We have no say in the matter; we have no solution. We are a Representative Republic but we have to say how’s that working out for you. We can call and write letters but all seems to fall on deaf ears - and I’ve tried. Kevin McCarthy is in the pockets of the DS - no doubt in my mind. When he voted for the first 40B to Ukraine, he immediately fell off my radar. He’s been bought. The five holdouts have some character left but that’s a very small percentage and if they can’t bring anymore patriots to their side AND if the rest of the mercenaries vote “present” - well, we get the S.O.S.
Both sides are the same. Behind closed doors, they're scratching each other's backs. If any of them represented US, would they have their own healthcare system, lifelong pensions after 6 yr, and PAYRAISES, when they haven't missed a paycheck but Americans and AMERICA are going BANKRUPT? If you didnt recognize the blatant theatre with the predicted, non-materializing "red wave" at midterms and how the Republicans got "just enough" for a "slight" majority to give us a "smidgen" of hope of turning things around...it's so obvious if you stop and look at it. They just take turns pointing their fingers at each other, playing good cop/bad cop, red vs blue, to get us fighting amongst ourselves and while we're distracted, they rob us blind. We'll never have a chance if "we the people" don't come together and realize the battle isn't between the Republicans against the Democrats, it's the government against the citizens. Watch the white dog in this video. It's the US govt.
I don't think I'm missing the point. I essentially agree with you on McCarthy. I'm asking for an alternative, anyone else. The five "patriots" (your words) are not presenting an alternative. Remember, the Speaker does not have to be an elected member of the House. I think your patriots are as much of a problem as McCarthy. Propose a solution, please.
Let’s put it this way since you’re unwilling to move from your position of continuing to ask for a solution. I won’t ask you for yours since you apparently have none. it appears that several of us seem to think there will be no solution until the people vote in those that will do what we vote them in to do. My opinion. In the meantime, however, the devil we know is better than the devil we don’t know. When Trump is back in office, (and he endorsed him) he can keep an eye on McCarthy and “persuade” him into doing what’s best for the country. That’s in the near term, however, it will be up to us to keep that watchful eye on our elected officials and not let them have Carte Blanche as we have done in the past. We got fat and lazy. No comments please. That was just a turn of phrase.
You’re missing the point. We get no choice. Besides this is all theatre anyway. All the “holdouts”. Now, as of late today there is supposedly 12 😂 Whatever. It’s just a show to make the brain dead think there was another option when we fully know they will select McCarthy the rino to run the circus. Clowns gotta do what clowns gotta do. Pppfffttt
Sometimes you have to be unhappily realistic. What McCarthy's opponents can and should do is be sure he gets the 218 votes but then they must loudly and publicly hold McCarthy's feet to the fire constantly and not let him do anything of a RINO nature. He should be called out for every stupid thing he does or tries to do. Biggs simply can't get enough votes and he surely knows that, but at this point he needs to work for the unity of the R party. The D's are almost entirely locked together as a tight unit but the R's are all over the place. This is not the time to "take a stand" if it means wrecking the R party and its chance to reverse some of Biden's damage.
The R party - which I've been a volunteering member of since Oct. 1980 - is EVERY BIT AS CORRUPT as the Democrats. As Pat Buchanan reminded us in the 1990's - the Republicans and the Democrats are simply two wings on the same bird of prey.
It's all Kabuki theatre (or professional wrestling, if you prefer): none of it is real. They don't oppose each other; they don't even dislike each other. They attend the same DC cocktail parties together. They're the closest of friends. (In the 1980's I worked on a "very conservative" U.S. Senator's staff. He was the closest of friends with the most liberal statists in the Senate.)
But every election they go out and gin up how outraged they are by the evil liberals and their horrible govt. expanding policies. (They don't believe a word of this crap, iof course.) It gets their base riled up and ready to vote for them.
They don't have the slightest intention of reversing anything. They always say they will, but then never ever do.
I wish the electorate would open their eyes and see the con job right in front them, yeat after year after year.
McCarthy is just Mitch Jr. When push comes to shove he will roll over, as we have seen him do in the past! Settling for pansies is nice for a garden party but not for battle. It is the second vote that counts, AFTER real discussion based on McCarthy not having the votes.
And who will be the candidate(s) in the second vote? The House Republicans are becoming a laughing stock. I think this behavior is dangerous and may result in nothing being accomplished. Biden owns the MSM, the MSM controls the message, the vast majority of voters gets most of their information from the MSM, so the Repubs will be made fools, unable to govern.
There are number of other candidates that will be recognized after McCarthy is out of the way. eg Jordan, Biggs, Scalise, Zeldin. House Republicans, Republicans in general, are already a laughing stock. The historical Republican defeatist attitude is what keeps us supporting/accomplishing the Progressive movement and weakening our republic,
Jim Jordan has repeatedly said he doesn't want it, and actually nominated McCarthy in the second round. Biggs got 9 votes in the first round. Back in November I thought immediately of Lee Zeldin, but apparently wanted to be RNC Chair, and backed away when he discovered Romney's niece effectively owns the votes of the Committee. I admire Tulsa greatly, but honestly, would these brave patriots accept a person who was a life-long Democrat until she quit? I refuse to concede that being sensible is defeatism.
Hey, for those who saw my comment a week or two ago about Christian actor and author, Kirk Cameron, holding a story time at the Indianapolis library, after the library declined to host a story hour for him to read his new children’s book, here is what happened, described by an acquaintance who attended: “We were there and on the sixth floor. Barely got to see him from a distance when he came out to address the crowd after two story times (didn't make it into the story hour). There were way more than 750 people who showed up. The library made an announcement during the first story hour that they were at capacity and the entire 6th floor was packed full with barely room to move around. Well over 1000 on the 6th floor alone and there was an estimate of another thousand on other floors and outside because they couldn't get to the 6th floor. Library/news is definitely trying to downplay how many people were there.”
Yay and keep it up everyone!
(News reports claim only 750 people. Which still seems like an awful lot of folks for a story hour that wasn’t even acknowledged on the library’s website. People who attended say the place was packed with at least a thousand people present.)
Please tell me why that GIRL wasn't removed from her abusive parents LONG BEFORE NOW!! Children have been removed for much lesser crimes than what they did to her!!... Like homeschooling!! 😡😡😡
I think you know the answer. What is right is called wrong and what is wrong is called right, and don't you dare disagree, even in your thoughts. Did you read about the director of March for Life in the UK who was arrested because she was silently standing in front of an abortion clinic? "Police had received complaints from an onlooker who suspected that Vaughan-Spruce was praying silently in her mind." https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/uk-woman-charged-by-police-after-praying-silently-outside-abortion-facility/
After all that's been said and uncovered...about the killer clot shot...and we have the dementia king and his wife....pitching the killshot on NYE...could there be any clearer message that they're part of the NWO who wants to reduce population and turn over the reins of the nation to global control? When's the insurrection against the sitting insurrectionists going to begin?
Well put. When one of my SILs began to ‘wake up and smell the coffee’, he was perpetually furious at the lies of the media and the actions of our government. I said he had to accept that they were vile and evil by nature and to stop expecting any truth or goodness from them. It took a few years, but he’s more at peace about it now.
So many problems and that’s all those 2 @sshats can spew? On NYE? I think they’re sitting on some pointy tree toppers instead of their inflatable donuts. Gee, Joe— your Xmas bonus from Pfizer wasn’t big enough?
I look at it as pathetic and almost laughable. Is anyone paying attention? But they need an excuse to keep the national emergency going and recuse drug companies.
Yup. I’m in a bad mood today and the sight of those 2 cretins pushed me over the edge. I feel nothing for them but abhorrence. Maybe tomorrow mercy will kick in. 🤔
Yes. And I believe capital punishment is merciful in allowing murderers an opportunity to focus on their impending death and seek repentance before meeting their creator.
Am I the only one who has picked up on some strange fashion choices by Jill B - or have others commented and I have not seen it? There were four fashion choices that were strange, two of them with belts. The first belt choice was perhaps two months ago. Around her dress waist she wore an ugly, wide, non-matching, oversized man's belt with the overlong tongue hanging awkwardly down. I checked current fashions and I could not find it in vogue. The next belt incident was the curious, navy blue ribbon-esque half belt tied around 1/4 of her blue coat when meeting Zelenskyy a few weeks ago. It, too, was bizarre and awkward, like nothing I had ever seen. I know there is black ribbon day in NATO and Ukraine in August, but it is the typical small crossed lapel ribbon - and it is black, not blue. This made no sense - except that, like the earlier belt, was it making a statement??
And last week she and Joe gave the Happy Kwanza speech. She seemed cheerful as she offered her part, but when Joe began to speak, her body language shifted. There was tension in her body, her neck, and her lips. She parted the lips several tips as if speaking - or sighing. Her arms, with interlaced fingers, moved up several times with no relationship to the words.
Perhaps I am overthinking, but in relation to two other online pieces recently, I have wondered if this is someone who is crying out for help. The first online piece was an interview with Kyle Kemper, half bro to Cdn PM JT. Kyle is not on best terms with JT but suggested to the interviewer that JT (like other weak world leaders) was a complete puppet of a higher world order, and was not writing his own speeches or texts, and refused to directly answer questions in the House of Commons. IOW, he was chosen as a weak front man. Further, Kyle suggested a link to blackmail. The second interview was between Lara Logan and Sasha Latypova who suggested, as others have, that the puppetmaster is not Schwab or Soros, but someone much higher up and unknown and to whom all global puppets give obesiance. Or, are we just being gaslit by these leaders, playin' games wit' our minds?
Interesting observations. I'm not a Jill Biden watcher, much less interested in her fashion but I understand symbolism is very important to these people. From her prior history as 2nd Lady (always the bridesmaid...), I wouldn't see it a "cry for help" at all. Her ego was damaged playing second fiddle to Micheal, I mean, Michelle, for 8 yrs, that she's willingly propping up her dementia ridden husband, committing elder abuse, to proudly wear that title of "First Lady". I think any stiffening in body language you see is probably fear that the POTATUS will start lying about his past, read the punctuation on the teleprompter, start blindly walking off the stage, trying to shake hands with ghosts or most likely that he'd go off script and say something truly racist about black people celebrating Kwanzaa. But, that's just me.😊
BTW, holiday week known as KWANZAA has a very interesting root of origin.
From the "History" section of Wikipedia:
American Maulana Karenga created Kwanzaa in 1966 during the aftermath of the Watts riots[3] as a specifically African-American holiday.[4] Karenga said his goal was to "give blacks an alternative to the existing holiday of Christmas and give blacks an opportunity to celebrate themselves and their history, rather than simply imitate the practice of the dominant society."[5] For Karenga, a major figure in the Black Power movement of the 1960s and 1970s, the creation of such holidays also underscored the essential premise that "you must have a cultural revolution before the violent revolution. The cultural revolution gives identity, purpose, and direction."[6]
It was Melania Trump, as we know, who made political statements with fashion. Jill B became noticeable by some interesting outfits. Given that the previous FLOTUS made statements and used fashion as language, would this current FLOTUS note and follow suit? (pun intended).
If, as has been suggested by some bloggers/alt journalists, there is structure of weak leaders controlled by one, or several globalists, and a method of control over these groomed leaders is luxury and lure of power, but also in some (many?) cases, blackmail on various levels, could there not be a moment for some where they wearied of the process, the lifestyle, had had a change of heart, and/or were consumed by fear - that they would want out - and, yet, could not get out? All the power and fame are not worth the constant stress - and fear. Much like the Mafia. Some may enter with full knowledge and glee, yet may reach a point where they want out - but there is no route available.
I don't think we can discard this possibility, for, in fact, the belts were weird (see [potentially] John 21:18 NAB)?? And she constantly must be a part of Joe's ongoing public personna. All the money and power and yet you have to live this???
Anything is possible in their world, I guess. I can see her striving to be admired like Melania was, but wanting it strictly "her" way. Didn't Melania fashion herself after Jackie O in many respects? I guess, I'll have to go search for those "belt" clips now.
With their (Joe and Jill) 50+ yr immersion in DC politics, I'm sure there's quite a bit "of goods" to be had on them both. I believe she must have an enormous amount of help with Joe's hour to hour management, so the public appearances are just a small part of the picture of her "taking care of Joe".
We can pray that God opens their eyes to His truth (Matthew 16:26) but we have to consider the opposite, too (Romans 1:28). I base the second instance primarily on their fierce defense of abortion "rights".
Are you my Aunt?! 🤔🤣 Im SURE She's no Coffee or Jeff or conservative fan. Much as I'm used to her, she's EXTREMELY nice, I'd much rather she was more like you. 🧐👊
Jeff -- Regarding the 11th Circuit's Adams case, its opinion creates a split with the 4th Circuit (Grimm v. Gloucester, 972 F.3d 586 (4th Cir. 2020)) and the 7th Circuit (Whitaker v. Kenosha Unified School District, 858 F.3d 1034 (7th Cir. 2017). I have a related case in the 4th Circuit regarding Montgomery County (Md.) Public Schools purposely withholding information from, and actively engaging in deception of, parents who may be opposed to their child's transgendering while in grade or high school. Jim Davids
The WSJ is censoring the comments to their article you can not say things like it’s neither safe or effective in the comments. This should be front page news but you will never ever see it in the news section. It’s only the editorial pages you can find piece’s that challenge the narrative.
No matter the folly of electing a new repub speaker, be assured that exactly like the last dozen house speakers, the citizens of this country will be severely shafted once again. It's no more than standard theater for the hopeless DC Swamp so infested with filth that a thousand "Trumps" could never drain it.
There is no absolutely solid independent evidence based proof that ANY vaccine works better than not having them. The idea that mRNA injections stopped original covid is ludicrous and one of the biggest lies of the 2020s thus far. Although that competition grows on a daily basis.
My alternate calendar says this is December 33rd. The year does not matter.
My 50 + years of study and observation sadly agrees with you. Only cataclysmic events hold the power to bring a shift back to Godliness and rightness (righteousness).
God is in control. I hide myself in the cleft of the rock of the Almighty.
Up in the "Hills" of the Southern Appalachian Redoubt is Great!!!! TN,NC,GA
BTW, for anyone looking to re-locate to a smaller town, check out Soddy-Daisy, TN. Pop 14K and only a short drive from Chattanooga.
What's wrong with you inviting MORE PPL?! 🤭
LOL...I live in FL.
As an ex-NYC citizen, he loves it there. He lives half-way up Signal Mountain.
Awe! Signal Mountain is beautiful! Good for him!
My brother lives right there. Great area.
Yeah...My son lives right down the "street" from that house. Streets there are paved mountain side trails.
Arizona right now. Taking in all the sun we can
Well the journey continues onward we go into 2023
Enjoy your year 🎉👍
Your husband should write the book!
Invest in metals; silver, gold, & lead. imo.
Right-to and up to the gills!
I think you will find lots of consulting work as the population continues to drop
Particularly since much of the excess mortality is among the working age folks. Doctors are baffled.
Good for you! This is awesome. And smart
I thought it was get the shot or hit the road in his case.
Have you taken any legal action yet? MY firm and several others are diving in on these type of cases.
Nancy
Van life Views, you may be doing the best possible thing you can, for yourselves and others. God bless you. :)
you have a linknfor your firm please? i have a friend who needs an attorney to help with her husband's still constant harassmentnfor boy getting the jab. his union is useless. and the mandates are gone. but they want to punish still. thanks!

I love seeing how we are supporting and helping each other here. We all get stronger when we realize we are not alone.
Yep, hubby put in his 2 weeks in today!!! Even being a teacher in florida with all the woke BS is horrible!
Congrats to him and you!
I quite my job as a college researcher and could not be happier!! I’m home
with my kid amd all
the woke BS was over the top. I would delete so many emails without reading.
Thanks for standing strong!
Big hug to you, Florida Man.
My engineer nephew left Garmin some time ago and formed his own engineering firm specializing in a field related to GPS.
He now owns his own company and hires other engineers.
Congratulations Based Florida Man!
This is great news and congratulations on your retirement and getting out of a company that sounds like a real downer place to work! It should be a fine time traveling around Florida there is a lot to see. Your young yet, the sky's the limit as they say.
You can always "camp" for free on BLM land in the West...that's my retirement plan, lol.
Veryver we are doing exactly that
Arizona at this moment. Taking in all the orange sunsets and bike rides before it’s 110 here 😅
We’ve been on BLM lands all over the west
Arizona is endless with these lands.
Nothing better than chilling with other nomads way out here in Quartzite 🌵
Oh -- I just remembered there is a natural hot spring north of Benson on BLM land that is lovely in the winter....Hot Wells Dunes -- it was so beautiful sitting in there and looking at the stars....I remember it before it got improved even, when it was just basically dirt...
Thanks for the tip.
Know Benson well and surrounding areas
Hope to be down that way in February/March
In 2022 never made it to any springs at all
Maybe 2023 will be a splashy year 🎉
I hear ya!
You can convert 401K to Gold bullion, not paper, and hold it in an approved vault until age 62 then take personal possession. Gold preserves wealth, silver can be used for commerce. The Feral Reserve Fiat Paper is almost ready to be used in the toilet. Just imho, of course.
All the best.
Totally agree! A different form of insurance.

The late Dr. Chin did commit suicide: Suicide By Boosters.
Jeff, I wish more bloggers would study your writing style and emulate it: Your posts are paragons of clarity, as well as great sources of actual facts. Thank you!
Hey, doncha dare fail to mention stark raving witty! 😁🤸 A triple talent like no other.
Yes, Death By Involuntary Suicide.
I'm sure Dr Chin was not force vaxed, so it looks like "voluntary" suicide, to me.
Jeff has the gift of printing all the words that are hidden between the lines.
Jeff, did you know you were quoted extensively by Dr. Joseph Mercola today in his article The Twitter Files? I’ll attempt to post the link below. Great job!
https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2023/01/02/twitter-files.aspx
Dr. Mercola is great. I try to order most of my supplements from his online store to support his work. Anything to avoid supporting Big Pharma!
Yes, I do too. Have you noticed that his online store is no longer open? The last time I ordered some products, they were only available on Amazon. Very disappointing.
I just ordered from MercolaMarket.com last week. Maybe you tried his website when hackers crashed it a few months ago & you got diverted to Amazon?
That could be. I’m happy to hear it’s back up!
He had a rough go during the last hurricane, as did many of his employees. Good to support him, a font of knowledge.
He’s my supplement source!
Yes, I love Dr. M and have followed him for years. He has tons of good information but isn’t as fun to read as C&C.
Wow that’s great!
Very cool!
Overcome: To conquer, prevail
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” — Jesus, in John 16:33
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. — 1 John 5:4
(NASB1995)
I have two missions for this year (unchanged from last year). One, to live out my faith by seeking to make disciples for Christ. Two, to live out my faith by standing against the current evil and injustice. People need to know how to face what is happening in the world now and, more importantly, they need to be prepared for eternity. "In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Romans 8:37
That is much the same resolve I have and I also have grown because of covid in my faith journey in ways I never anticipated. That “grit” has come to the forefront.
Amen, sister!
Anne, you may enjoy reading “After Ten Years” by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. 🙏🏼 📖
Thanks! I ordered it!
Those are great missions.
I would like to have known your mom! My mom is also in heaven…
And I would add to her words: "... and ensure she never enters the school system."
Amen. I am 44 and fear for my girl daily. But she has a thick backbone. One that challenges me daily
And maybe even do it without antidepressants.
The bible condemns "pharmakeia" (in the original Greek) in several places but it is translated as "sorcery" rather than mind or body-altering drugs. If you google around you'll find plenty of "fact checks" insisting that pharmakeia has nothing to do with drugs. Uh huh.
I'll go with my gut on this one.
"Pharmakeia" is obviously where we get the word PHARMACY, ya know, that place that hands out PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS? But I guess fact checkers know best! LOL!
As events worsen, our children will be forced to develop grit or, sadly, fall along the way.
“By your endurance you will gain your lives.”
Luke 29:19

Wonderful powerful truth! Thanks for posting this encouraging word today!!
So true!
Thank you, Janice, for reminding me of one of my favorite hymns. Here’s a particularly nice version:

Lovely harmony.
Amen
I can't stomach this idiocy! Deploying Air Marshalls to heat sandwiches! Having the wife of our illegitimate president telling us AGAIN to take the covid vaccine! Lord, please deliver us from this insanity!
On the other hand, it's good to see some sanity in the fight against the LGBTQ/trans idiocy.
If you can’t stand and were born with no male genitalia and must sit to urinate , please select the proper bathroom.
How much do I love this. Have owned both versions and raised both versions. 😉
right? There have been even weirder ones. I once saw maracas y guitaras
That's a good one! I always think "Do you have an innie or an outie?" That should answer it.
Little girls may not know what an inny is yet.
And if they are dragged to drag shows they will be very confused by people with both. 🤷♀️
Well, as we were talking about a sign in a bar, my comment wasn't intended to include children in the mix.
Heck, I may have visited that bar! I remember this from somewhere - of course, visit enough taverns, you think you've seen it all. lol. (.....and likely have)
😆❤️
my thoughts exactly!! Besides what woman wants to use the only "poop toilet" in the men's room? Yuk...
You're making entirely too much sense.
Title IX is about discrimination based on sex.
Sex. Not gender. The gender cultists hate it.
That's why the Biden Regime is amending Title IX to include gender identity:

Ugh 🤬
From the url below: "As Glassman noted, there are some options for the members to break a long-lasting deadlock, including some members voting “present” to lower the number of votes needed for a majority."
https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/kevin-mccarthy-speaker-democrats-rcna62141
Well of course! Why on earth would voting be cut and dry 🤦🏼♀️ when there are ways around making the votes count. 🙄 I just lost the last 1% of hope I had that Mcarthy wouldn’t be selected in. 😒
I definitely recommend that you do not hold your breath!
Steve scalise! Great choice. Tried and true warrior!
Fine with me. Get him 218 and let's go!
Everything you said may be true, but we still need a speaker. Your solution?
It's the US govt.
https://youtube.com/shorts/6FU7n48UmcI?feature=share
I don't think I'm missing the point. I essentially agree with you on McCarthy. I'm asking for an alternative, anyone else. The five "patriots" (your words) are not presenting an alternative. Remember, the Speaker does not have to be an elected member of the House. I think your patriots are as much of a problem as McCarthy. Propose a solution, please.
Out of the box, but I wouldnt mind Tulsi for Speaker
Couldn’t agree more
Good point.
That’s awesome!!
Way to go Hoosiers! That is so awesome!
Thought crimes 😕
In the UK at least, and coming here soon too if we don’t put a stop to it!
Evil emanates from them and all their kind like poison dripping from a viper’s fangs.
For sure. Janice.
It is merciful to call evil evil.
Yes. And I believe capital punishment is merciful in allowing murderers an opportunity to focus on their impending death and seek repentance before meeting their creator.
I hear you Janet, I have the same reaction!!
Thanks for the laugh Janet 😂
Right... after all that’s been said and uncovered... one not to miss should be required reading, period... https://open.substack.com/pub/2ndsmartestguyintheworld/p/happy-new-year-2023-technocommunism?r=697d8&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post
In connection with Jill B's New Year's message:
I won't be able to analyze her because I won't be looking at her.
Same. Nauseating.
Thanks Concerned Grammy, esp Kwanzaa info.
2017). I have a related case in the 4th Circuit regarding Montgomery County (Md.) The WSJ is censoring the comments to their article you can not say things like it’s neither safe or effective in the comments. This should be front page news but you will never ever see it in the news section. It’s only the editorial pages you can find piece’s that challenge the narrative.
I have hope that the truth will make it to the news sections. Their funds to hide the truth can’t last forever.
I think we'll have to shut down the government to stop it ~ so many departments/agencies are involved in censorship.
Dont bet on that. They are funded by the wealthiest of the wealthy.
Pandemic of the vaccinated. I want to see that in the WSJ.
Well. A Former NYT guy knows it. I think it’s starting to finally sink in. Slowly though.

LOJ posted this very contemporary Scripture that explains much of what is going on today. Nice jab. I mean Nice Job !!
“And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done”. - Romans 1:28-32
