The juxtaposition between 2008 and now is pretty astonishing, indeed. I remember being bamboozled by Obama for about 5 minutes. I had been a supporter of Dennis Kucinich (back in my independent/Dem-leaning days). I grudgingly voted for Obama only to be horrified at just about everything he did. Well, I can thank him for curing me of ever voting for a Democrat again, so there's that. What a crappy president he turned out to be. His third term (the Biden puppet term) was the worst.

And he himself was just a George Soros puppet/CIA asset to start with.

It's good to have someone who actually loves America in charge.

There was a lot of chatter about the plane crash that occurred, where the only fatality was the women in charge of the department of health in Hawaii, who had verified Obamas birth certificate. Grok dug up the details for me:

You appear to be referring to the December 11, 2013, plane crash off the coast of Molokai, Hawaii, involving Loretta Fuddy, who was the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health at the time. This incident has been the subject of speculation and conspiracy theories, particularly among those questioning the legitimacy of Barack Obama’s birth certificate. Below is a factual summary based on available information, followed by an examination of the claims surrounding the event.

The Incident

On December 11, 2013, a Cessna Grand Caravan operated by Makani Kai Air crashed into the ocean shortly after takeoff from Kalaupapa Airport on Molokai. The flight was en route to Honolulu and carried nine people: eight passengers, including Loretta Fuddy, and one pilot. The crash occurred about a mile off the coast due to what was later identified as engine failure.

All nine individuals initially survived the impact. Passengers and the pilot evacuated the sinking aircraft, with some clinging to the wings and others floating in the water with life jackets. Rescue efforts by the U.S. Coast Guard, Maui Fire Department, and local authorities saved eight of the nine people. One person swam to shore, four were airlifted by a Maui Fire Department helicopter, and three were rescued by a Coast Guard helicopter. Loretta Fuddy, aged 65, was the only fatality. Reports indicate that she was alive after the crash, wearing a life jacket and holding hands with her deputy, Keith Yamamoto, who tried to assist her in the water. However, she became unresponsive, and it was later determined that she died of cardiac arrhythmia (an irregular heartbeat) triggered by the stress of the incident, according to the Maui County coroner’s report.

Loretta Fuddy’s Role with Obama’s Birth Certificate

Loretta Fuddy gained national attention in April 2011 when, as the Hawaii Department of Health Director, she authorized the release of Barack Obama’s long-form birth certificate. This action came in response to persistent claims by ā€œbirthersā€ā€”individuals who argued that Obama was not born in the United States and was thus ineligible to be president. In a letter to Obama, Fuddy stated that she had reviewed the original records and attested to the authenticity of the certified copies provided to him. She made an exception to departmental policy, which typically issued only computer-generated copies, citing Obama’s status as president. Obama released this document publicly to address the conspiracy theories, though many skeptics continued to allege it was forged.

Conspiracy Theories and Suspicion

Fuddy’s death in the plane crash fueled speculation among some who believed it was no coincidence. The central claim is that her death was suspicious because she was the key figure who verified Obama’s birth certificate, which they assert was fraudulent. Conspiracy theorists point to several factors:

• Sole Fatality: Fuddy was the only person to die in the crash, despite all others surviving, which some find statistically unusual.

• Timing: Her death occurred two years after the birth certificate release, leading some to suggest she might have been about to reveal incriminating information.

• Circumstances: The fact that she died in the water after surviving the initial impact, combined with the engine failure explanation, has been questioned as potentially orchestrated.

Prominent figures, including Donald Trump, commented on the event at the time. On December 12, 2013, Trump tweeted, ā€œHow amazing, the State Health Director who verified copies of Obama’s ā€˜birth certificate’ died in plane crash today. All others lived,ā€ amplifying the suspicions. Other posts on platforms like X have since claimed she was a ā€œCIA assetā€ or even Obama’s mother in disguise—assertions lacking any credible evidence.

Official Findings

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigated the crash and concluded that it was caused by a ā€œcatastrophic engine failure,ā€ as stated by Makani Kai Air President Richard Schuman. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) also conducted a probe, interviewing the pilot and surviving passengers. The coroner’s report attributed Fuddy’s death to natural causes—specifically, cardiac arrhythmia induced by the trauma of the crash—rather than drowning or foul play. No evidence of sabotage or intentional targeting has been found in official investigations.

Critical Examination

While the conspiracy theories suggest a deliberate act tied to Obama’s birth certificate, several points challenge this narrative:

• Lack of Evidence: There is no documentation or testimony indicating Fuddy was planning to ā€œexposeā€ anything about Obama’s records. Claims of forgery have been repeatedly debunked by experts, including Snopes, which analyzed the digital file and found no credible signs of manipulation.

• Practicality: Orchestrating a plane crash to kill one person while sparing eight others, including the pilot, would be extraordinarily complex compared to simpler methods if foul play were intended.

• Context: Small plane crashes, while rare, do occur, and engine failure is a known risk. The survival of most passengers aligns with the aircraft’s relatively low speed and water landing.

That said, the unusual nature of Fuddy being the sole fatality and her high-profile role in a politically charged issue naturally invite skepticism. Without concrete evidence of wrongdoing, however, the official explanation remains the most supported account.

Conclusion

Loretta Fuddy died in a plane crash on December 11, 2013, under circumstances that have been officially attributed to engine failure and a subsequent cardiac event. Her role in verifying Obama’s birth certificate has made her death a focal point for conspiracy theories alleging foul play tied to claims of a forged document. While these theories persist, particularly in online communities, they lack substantiation beyond circumstantial speculation. The incident remains a tragic event that, for some, symbolizes unresolved questions about Obama’s origins, though no definitive proof of a cover-up has emerged.

My understanding is that what they are charging is for use on public highways. Federal highways? I don’t know a lot about it yet…but was interested for the same reason. NY likely doesn’t have the authority to charge to drive on that roadway, is my guess.

Oregon is trying to build up a TOLL road on I-5 and I-205. I keep asking how? It’s an interstate. There’s no way to get from Oregon to Washington without those interstates. So how can OREGON charge citizens to drive on the Interstate?!!!! They already pay super high taxes that are supposed to pay for the damned roads! I am furious over it and I don’t even live there anymore.

When I asked Oregonians at Christmas when I was there visiting -not one had an answer of how they are getting away with this. The citizens are dumbfounded and have been castrated by the criminal cabal running Oregon. They are impotent to help at this point. I really hope Trump or his team or even Scott Pressler can go to the left coast and free the people in bondage over there. They NEED help over there!! I thought that was the case, seem to remember an outcry about that - I live in MO but halfway follow KS issues. I will say that a low population state like KS it makes more sense to tax the drivers who use that road vs piling on taxes for the people who live there and in some cases never even drive on it. But that assumes KDOT uses the money wisely?? I will say we took the 1-70 toll roads to CO for an annual ski vacation for 20+ years and the roads are in good shape unlike the pothole-ridden always under construction roads in states like IL.

MO floated a toll for adding a lane to I-70 across the state about 7-8 years ago and that went over like a lead balloon. But we got a pile of covid money and that is now what is funding the expansion, so no toll roads in MO.

We would take advantage of the "no sales tax" when we would visit the grandparents. I bought a lot of horse tack at the tack store near my grandparents' house as I didn't have to pay any sales tax!

I did have issues at the gas stations, as I would forget that I could not pump my own gas. They did pass a law a few years ago allowing folks to pump their own gas. If you do let them pump your gas, they now expect you to tip the gas attendants. Ai, yai, yai!

Sunnydaze, well, I suppose one could drive to Astoria and cross over to Washington there, but that is a bit of a drive to avoid the tolls. We would have to do it in reverse to visit family we have that still live in Oregon.

When I was a kid, there was a toll on the I-90 floating bridge to Seattle to pay for the bridge. I think the toll booths were down by the time I was in Junior High, but that was so long ago, I don't remember exactly. šŸ˜‚

Now we have tolls on the Narrows bridge, so we can go visit family in Port Orchard, but we can't get back without either paying the toll ($6) or taking the ferry back. I don't know if those tolls will ever sunset. And, they have tolled the HOV lanes on I-405 and Hwy. 167. If you don't have the state's Good to Go Pass, they charge you extra for using the HOV lanes, even if you are a carpool, 'cause the govt has to know where you are going and when and who is in the car, as they snap your picture as you drive under the gantry (and probably how fast, too!)

I'm a New York City resident (Brooklyn), so I'll try to give an answer to how New Yorkers feel, based on nothing more than my anecdotal experience. These tolls have been heavily sold by saying the revenues will be used to improve and expand the subway/bus system, which is appealing to those who don't drive in the city, a majority that includes car owners who mainly use their cars for driving out of the city.

On the other hand, I get the impression that most New Yorkers are pretty cynical about transit improvements actually happening after living through decades of broken promises and seeing the MTA's gross mismanagement over the years. Most suspect it will just lead to more fare increases and decreases in service, with the money misspent and pocketed for graft.

Then there are vast swaths of NYC that are not well served (or served at all) by our public transit system and who very much rely on cars to get around. These neighborhoods (large parts of Queens, areas of Brooklyn, parts of the Bronx, and essentially all of Staten Island) absolutely loathe congestion pricing. This is, to a considerable extent, a class issue. People living in comfortable, super blue areas of Manhattan and Brooklyn, for example, are well served by public transportation and often insulated by their political and economic power from much of the devastation the city has suffered in recent years. They believe that this is an example of benevolent government working to improve the lot of the oppressed, including it in their package of progressive beliefs.

Still, even in many of these enclaves, the high-handed actions of the DOT to reshape neighborhoods have alerted some (who had already started to wake up in 2020) that there is a bigger agenda behind congestion pricing than just improving air quality, reducing traffic and fixing the subways. These people are learning about 15-minute cities, and even former supporters of congestion pricing (like me) are turning against it, especially as they become aware of the Orwellian "City of Yes" that is being shoved down our throats.

So, yes, I would say that congestion pricing is widely hated in NYC, although you won't hear that from our media or the comfortable chattering class.

The slumbering sheep have been ā€œnudgedā€ to ā€œobeyā€ and ā€œwave the flag- they are ā€œtaking it backā€ from those Freedumber Convoy typesā€ and have been told it’s perfectly acceptable and ā€œunderstandableā€ to boo another country’s national anthem at a hockey game. From this self proclaimed ā€œfringe minorityā€ I apologize for that and please know that there are still a number of us who don’t go along with the narrative that all our problems are caused by DJT. You won’t hear that in the media though as they are still getting their pay cheques from the government and have been given their orders to OBEY as well. Best wishes on the hockey game tonight - I will be cheering for Canada but definitely not booing the USA’s anthem šŸ˜ŠšŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø šŸ’šŸ„…šŸ˜Š

NYC applied for Federal approval and received federal approval to institute the congestion pricing scam. Yes, your Federal government has been promoting these agenda 21 scams to the States for years and your Congressmen/women have been funding them for years too. You can find some reports on the federal govt website here. https://ops.fhwa.dot.gov/congestionpricing/cp_what_is.htm

So the Federal govt approves it and then Trump rescinds it. How is that legal? It isn't and will most likely be overturned by the courts., unless a default of the conditions of approval were violated OR NYC wants a reason to overturn it because they fear for their lives (ha, ha - this program is very unpopular - full disclosure, I am a former NY'er).

The governess doesn't have the money. President Trump just cut off the gravy train for the bloated MTA bottomless pit. There's never enough money for that trough. What he did is not illegal. To think that he cannot do this and continue to withdraw Federal funding from this shithole city and state is laughable, at least. These feckless "leaders" and apparently some observers have not a clue what he's actually doing to them and what's coming next and from which directions simultaneously. 30 days in and they are terrified. The governess has shit between its ears and it's oozing from multiple orifices, and will be arrested and criminally charged for aiding and abetting illegal aliens. These douchettes have billions of taxpayer dollars for illegals but haven't a dime for their "toll" system? So, raise taxes and fees more elsewhere which is such a popular rallying cry, especially in an upcoming election season. President Trump has forced these morons into a trap of their own making, and going forward they will engage in a circular firing squad. Long live the King, in deed.

Since I still see that the last "lock her up" NY'er is still roaming around Chappaqua, NY, I won't hold my breath for these other arrests.

As I assume you are calling me "some observers have not a clue what he's actually doing", we will agree to disagree.

If the fed's approved this, I see no authority to "pull" approval. I am not sure if the Fed's are actually funding this - still looking. So you ask your town for a zoning exemptiion or rezone to do a home project and they say yes. Two months later can they pull that approval? Even after you spent thousands of dollars on that project? This is the world you want to live in?

Let me tell you why I think Musk is a phony. Here is a fun fact.

Take a look at Tesla's financials, here is the last 10K

https://ir.tesla.com/_flysystem/s3/sec/000162828025003063/tsla-20241231-gen.pdf

Go to page 49 of the report to find the Income Statement. My My, this company has a Revenue line called "Automotive Regulatory Credits". What in the world is that? In 2024, it amounted to $2.763 Billion dollars!

Now go to page 55 and read up on what they are. "We earn tradable credits in the operation of our automotive business under various regulations related to ZEVs, greenhouse gas, fuel economy and clean fuel. We sell these credits to other regulated entities who can use the credits to comply with emission standards and other regulatory requirements." "We recognize revenue on the sale of automotive regulatory credits, which have negligible incremental costs associated

with them, at the time control of the regulatory credits is transferred to the purchasing party. "

Now also read how he uses them to show a profit that the boy wonder can't make the old fashion way.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/18/tesla-electric-vehicle-regulatory-credits-explained.html

See without all the government incentives, and there are more than just carbon credits, Musk isn't so rich.

Will Musk put an end to these carbon credit schemes?

Caution: Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.

Expand full comment

Also, Musk and Tesla have nothing to do with this. Unnecessary ad hominem attacks that are irrelevant to the governess not having the dough to pay for it’s tyranny are just a distraction and I can only speculate why this is thrown in.

The town zoning approval hypothesis is not the equivalent. The homeowner is using his own money. These grifters are use Taxpayer money, which is supposed to be used for highway maintenance for the public’s use. If the governess wants to impose tolls and abuse the citizens of the formerly great state of New York, that’s its prerogative. The control of the public highways goes back to England, which is still the foundation of the government control of the public highways. Only the king can impede the use of the public highways. Most of us (and I include myself in this to my shame) were so caught up in living a busy life of raising kids and doing everyday tasks and our jobs, that we didn’t pay attention to the government and assumed everything was A-OK with it. I mean, we got to vote, right? And while we didn’t like everything that was done, we assumed those in power over us mostly wanted us all to be doing well in our country.

Evil and corruption COUNT on that mind set. And that so many awoke out of the slumber in a relatively brief time, with DJT being the catalyst for that tipping point, has infuriated them. Trump is right, they’re not after him, they’re after us, and he’s just in the way. I’m grateful there were always some who kept faith and were watching things while I slumbered away.

They figure out how to work the system. They are not usually great moms and the kids grow up to be another strain on the system".

I knew one black guy we called Big Black who claimed to have fathered 17 children throughout the US and Canada but only lived with his wife and one child. as an early track to the final road out of this hell, you may be correct.

I would modify that a bit:

-- Only the "pill" for birth control; not abortion via pill or otherwise

-- Abortion up to 6 weeks and ONLY after counseling by "right to Life" advocate groups(seeing ultrasound of their baby and hearing the heartbeat; hearing from a woman who is dealing with the psychological after effects of abortion; hearing from a woman saved from or NOT aborted and her life story; hearing from a woman raised in a foster home after being adopted). If the woman hears and sees ALL this, still demands an abortion, hey, it is ON HER. Let her go and deal with it.

-- in case of incest or rape: VERY special case requries very special treatment. I have no answer for that one!

Then, after all this has transpired for a decade or two re-route the train to a more highly restricted lane to abortion. . .

As a Town Meeting Member and as a Selectwoman in my former small town, I fought like HELL to force the town to "rebate" excess "free cash" at the end of each fiscal year. Excess free cash, for those not up on municipal finances, is another word for SURPLUS, or more precisely, "what the town overcharged and over-collected in real estate taxes during the prior budget year and which clearly was not needed in the budget, because it wasn't spent." The bureaucrats used the "surplus" as their slush fund for their pet projects that would NOT have passed in the budget (due to the frivolous nature of the pet projects) at the annual Town Meeting. In my former town, it ranged from $5 million to $12 million each fiscal year. Believe me when I tell you, the collective gasp from every bureaucrat agency in town, and (shockingly, to me) a large minority of residents, was like I was demanding their firstborn. They are ALL pigs at the trough. There is definitely something pathologically and psychologically satisfying to them, that they live vicariously through spending other people's money. @Sarah- I was talking to my MIL once about my father's and stepmother's things and how she'd never get in the way of anything we want whenver ever Dad died. She leaned over the table and said "Honey, death changes people." That resonated with me. Now, Dad died in 2001 and stepmother is now 97 and the best stepmother anyone in life could ever have. She has never denied us anything. I haven't wanted anything (scratch that. One thing and it mysteriously disappeared. Just a small statue my grandmother used to have in her house) but I'll tell you this: 2 of my 4 siblings have become monsters and stepmother isn't even dead yet. She has a book of requests from us kids and other family members. My one sister asked for a couple of small momentos, one brother hasn't asked for anything (he lives his life with his head buried in the sand), my husband recently asked her for Dad's turntable and some LP records of crooners from the 60s and 70s, I asked for nothing but she is giving me an opal bracelet because we share a birthday. The other two siblings? The one who lives in state has been clearing out the house for years, much of it my grandmother's things. I showed up once for a visit (NY to FL so it was obviously planned) and there were BOXES of Gramma's things on the kitchen table they were loading into their van. I mentioned it'd be nice if the rest of us could get a chance to see what's there. They hastily left for home. The other brother? You should see how thick my stepmother's notes are of what all he wants. He just filled up a POD from her house (she's had to move in with a family member 3 hours away from her home) and had it delivered to his place in the NE. Death (and money) most certainly DOES change people. Or does it simply bring out what was already there?

I suspect ALL vaccines cause autoimmune diseases, especially when you consider the goal of a vaccine: to stimulate the immune system to attack a certain foreign invader. How do they know how much a given vaccine will stimulate any particular person’s immune system? Every body is different. They have no clue. Just as you and I probably have no clue what and how many dormant damaged genes our bodies harbor. For instance, the yellow fever vaccine is contraindicated for people who either have rheumatoid arthritis or have a family history of it. But how would you know definitively if you have a family history of it if no one in your generation or the previous generation or two had ever been diagnosed with it ? That’s what happened to me. Delta Airlines gave me an ultimatum: take the YF vaccine, or you won’t work for us. I had no family history of RA, but within 2 weeks my thumbs blew up like big red balloons, and over the next 4 years I lost all or most of the cartilage in numerous joints throughout my body, including hands, knees, hips, sacroiliac joints, and my entire spine.

Isn’t that what happened w/ Social Security? Was supposed to be untouchable & simply garner massive profits for retirees. It wasn’t long before the funds were raided for more short term, politically expedient projects w/ IOUs left where the wealth used to be. But it is true, and this is why they the EU clown leaders where so dismayed by what they heard come out of J. D. Vance's mouth during the MSE event. And they, the EU 'leaders' at that event, were like first or second graders finding out for the first time, horrors of horrors, that there is no Santa Clause.

It is an absurdity to think that Russia would want to invade Europe and have to deal with all the problems of a sinking, bankrupt and totally Woke civilization. Someone who thinks a Russian invasion of Europe is possible does not know Russian culture and history.

On they contrary, the Iron Curtain/Warsaw countries would have never have happened except Germany made the colossal Napoleonic Mistake of invading Russian territory in 1941. Russia with some 12 or 13 time zones has enough on its hands to run and keep safe from the predators as it is. Putin and the Russian leaders well-know this.

I agree with everything except the Marxist point. Marxist are ideologues, the EU people worship themselves. They think they are responsible for the power they have been allowed to wield. However they have over played their hand and the wolf is on their trail.

Well then, we differ.

I say that most of the Western policy assumptions are Marxist standard practice and have been for a long time. All of the Agenda 21/30 stuff is based on the assumption of 'the collective' with the 'dictatorship of the proletarian' (the ruler class) in charge. And it has basically been a one party (all but in name only) rule. It was so in the United States, and such realization give birth to the name 'the Uni-Party'. Only in the United States, Trump upset the apple cart of political conformity.

You say that it just about 'them' the ruling class. But I also say that every system has it organizing principles. You say they rule out of worship of themselves (true). But I further add that they have to have 'a story' to sell the people, and that the story is based upon ideological fairy tales. I say, for just one example, that identity politic is pure Marxism (Mao-ism, and the Soviets had their version). And I further say I could expand this line of thought many time over.

So, I a lot agree with you, but go further. You say is true, but there is more to the story.

I have a question. At least since WWII (and certainly since JFK's assassination), the US has been ruled by "professional (lifetime) politicians and professional bureaucrats". Apparently this is true of all of the West. So how is it that the USG has been taken over by a bunch of outsiders with Trump the chief outsider? The scope of this bloodless "coup", for lack of a better word, is breathtaking.

My mind told me something was up when Vance was picked as the VP. What - not a political insider??? What's going on here. And it was all up hill from there right up to yesterday when Patel was voted for FBI Director BY MCCONNELL! Seriously? This isn't a revolution. This is a complete rout of the entire political organization of America. LITERALLY... the USG Executive Branch is entirely in the hands of political outsiders who aren't even politicians or bureaucrats. They are all "ordinary" working class, successful Americans.

And now I see their sights being turned on the international geo-political order which may be the primary purpose for their existence to begin with... at least in terms of the unstated power that is backing Trump behind the scenes. Americans will benefit from this simply by way of circumstance. But I can't get over the massive scope of this coup that is routing the powers that have ruled the West for the last 500 years. I'm gonna need a LOT more popcorn!

It appears (and I use that word advisedly) to me that there is a revolt inside the international order against the Apex Money Elite as represented by the British Crown/City of London, the Rothschild family/BIS and the Vatican. Even the current Pope (who is a walking obscenity) appears to be on his death bed and will have to be replaced. It further appears that there is going to be a complete geo-political realignment where the US becomes a friendly trading partner with the BRICS as lead by Russia. Heck - the US may join the BRICS as one big free-trade zone. Could this be the ultimate purpose of the threats of massive tariffs? To achieve the exact opposite effect? The same strategy is working domestically to achieve the MAGA goals.

Man is always ruled by a ruling class of some description or another. That is axiomatic. Even the American Independence movement, based in Calvinistic Christianity from the Reformation, was organized by and run by the Colonial elite, and not by back-woods frontiersmen, lowly farmers and tradesmen.

And also, things have an organic life of their own, even growing mass discontent.

Trump has a background, especially if one looks at the family history. He may not have been in with the elite party of Great Destroyers, but he was 'of class' all along. And people at the upper level are always in association with other upper-level types. And out of associations, conversations, business connectivity ... 'understanding' organically evolve.

This Trump thing is not just Trump and the outward forms, outward figures of Trump-ism. The landscape on this has been evolving ever since 1992. 911 was probably a tripwire which pushed 'understanding' along in a significant way. But so was 2008/2009 and all the events surrounding Covid Fake-demic. The final straws were somewhat Afganistan, but more so the Ukraine and the weaponization of everything including SWIFT (international payments system in USD).

So, the simple answer is that things happen once the smarter upper part of the ruling elites comes to feel threatened existentially in the wallets and their physical lives by the terrorism of the Legion of the Dummies. And in the Collective West, the clown dummies were the insane Woke ruling class, the exact people like to whom Vance spoke out his Munich speech.

It just gets to a point where the smart ruling elite can't take it any more, and they get together and do something radical themselves, like launch a counter-revolution to oust the insanity, the terror, the total dysfunctional system. In my lifetime, and before 2025, my best example is the Beria Moment when Marshall Zhukov marched his soldiers into a Politburo and arrested Beria. And then things were okay for awhile until Putin had to restore order again and save Russia from taking the Federation over from subversion from within.

One cannot entirely get to how this all works by reason alone. And that is because life is organic and has a life of its own. Put another way, life is like a giant Symphony, complete with its movements, themes, cadences and phrasing. And things within things.

Well, that went a long way to bring everything into focus! Especially, "It just gets to a point where the smart ruling elite can't take it any more, and they get together and do something radical themselves..." That seems to be confirmed.

I'm just guessing of course, but it does seem to me that the counter-revolution is going to take their assault all the way to the Apex money elite. It will be interesting to see what that results in as I described.

Russia has no reason to "invade" Europe, except when there are hostile forces massing on its borders. It's stupid to believe. The communists wanted to spread communism as a dogma of marxist-leninist orthodoxy and ideas or plans for invasions were to establish the "proletariat of the masses" which was an inevitable outcome of history according to the marxist-leninists. Russia no longer has that religion and hasn't for the last 30 years. Yet, Russia is a boogeyman that "justifies" trillions of dollars to be ostensibly used for "defense" but which is grifted. That gravy train is very important. Now, these cretins are screaming and crying, literally, because they are getting cut off. How oxymoronic it is to declare that they need to fear the boogeyman Russians invading while these same liars and grifters allow the unchecked actual and very real invasion of their countries by third world leeches that hate them. Finally, history shows how Europe (France, Germany, US and Britain) fairs when they invade Russia: graves of those failed efforts over the last 200 years are still being unearthed.

This ā€œdividendā€ sounds a lot like the setup for a UBI. Why not just tax people less and let us keep more of our money from the outset? Spend that ā€œdividendā€ running what the government actually needs to run. If we keep our money from the outset, the government can’t attach strings.

And no one’s talking about it, but this administration seems to be doing that a lot. Exhibit A: Tennessee’s recent ā€œschool choiceā€ decision.

Truly, ask any long time home school mom how she feels about the ā€œschool choiceā€ and ā€œvoucherā€ nonsense Trump just helped push through in TN and has *vowed to take national* and she will tell you it’s a bait and switch… what the government funds the government runs. I would rather eat my property tax than get it back with strings attached (ie ā€œmandatoryā€ curriculum filled with SEL and testing requirements that test a child’s ability to parrot, not to learn). We want the government to stay out of our lives, not control more and more of it. As an aside, we’re a retired military family. We really do know what it means to have the government control your paycheck and your pension and it’s not all butterflies and ice cream cones. Y’all, please be cautious about this. šŸ™Take the wins, but eyes wide open.

As a ā€œretiredā€ homeschool mom (my kiddos are grown and married) I agree wholeheartedly with your concerns. Keep the government out of our homes. To those who don’t homeschool, it sounds so great - ā€œOh look, you’ll get money back ! Isn’t that great!ā€ No, it’s not great, it’s a Trojan horse. I wanted my children to be curious, to know that Truth is real, and grow up to be adults who ask questions. That would not be impossible if they were sent to a public institution, but it would’ve been a highly unlikely outcome.
